For two days it worked

The bed was comfortable. It was heating/cooling system available.

The curtains were disgusting covered with some stains. The room itself is not designed well - there is corridor with a table and one chair with no daylight, bathroom is in the middle and bed area at the end of the room which is very small. What is more, the 2/3 of the window was hidden behind the wall, so it felt like sitting in a bunker. The last thing once opening this window to get some fresh air it was a smell of a fish and grill all the time and flies entering the room.

A very nice spot close to everything you need

Strategically awesome position, close to the beach and main amazing seafood restaurants. Really appreciated the welcome drink voucher provided by the Hotel.

The room was not 31m² as indicated in my booking but overall it was a good staying

Amazing location- felt like I was properly in Portugal and not in a tourist trap! Very clean, lovely staff and very close to everything needed.

A little noisy with the birds waiting for their breakfast. If you’re a light sleeper could be an issue but I found it the fun part of staying across from the docks!

Met one member of staff, seemed very nice. Close to tram.

Could not pass the fact of how dirty the room was. Cleanliness is one of the main factors when reserving a hotel room. The photos on the website were nice, but the room didn't live up to the expectations. Walls, shower curtain an mats could do with thorough cleaning. The dirtiest hotel I have stayed in this year, I'm sorry to stay.

Brilliant stay in Porto

The room was really spacious and modern. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The whole building always had a really pleasant smell.

Fantastic

I was given the access code to the door and locker for the key through whatsapp which made checking in easy the room was amazing, i stayed in the suite and it was a massive room with an amazing bathroom (with bathrobes) . The bed was very comfortable

An excellent place to stay while on the Camino

The property is excellently located on the Camino De Santiago and near many good, especially fish, restaurants. The fish market is across the street and clearly fish restaurants are the specialty of this neighborhood.

Very good

Good room, price quality matches. Good transport links to the city center, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Good communication with the hotel staff. Nice blinds on the windows.

It was stuffy in the room, but there is air conditioning, which needs time to cool the room. It was impossible to open the windows, because there is a restaurant nearby, the smell of food and cigarettes immediately gets into the room.

Recommended, and would definitely stay here again

Location, modern design, balcony, mini-fridge, and free welcome drink. Great people working in the top floor restaurant/bar/terrace. Double exterior doors provide good sound dampening. Super easy check-in and check-out.

Could be cleaner. Glassware and kettle were dirty, lots of marks on the walls, and mold in the shower. I've stayed in a few different rooms here, and all were hot (in winter), and smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals upon arrival. This prompted me to open the balcony doors (although, in the first floor room, one of the balcony doors was stuck shut). Adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to help the temperature.

A small treasure

Nice, modern and quiet hotel, with several perks, including bar vouchers, which is a great idea and really nice. The location is really good, not vor the views, but for the amount of restaurants in the vicinity. I will definetley recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Porto. It's not that close to the city center mas is really easy to get to the hotel, and nothing better than at the end of a travelling or working day rest on a quiet place.

Large room and shower, instant coffee and kettle, bar fridge, daily cleaning, complimentary drink, very helpful staff. Breakfast at the terrace at reasonable prices.

Located across the fish market, interesting smell sometimes and lots of noisy pigeons.

O Valentim is a nice, comfortable place to stay, close to the ocean and Porto as well.

Breakfast was very delicious and enough to fuel our body for the day. Orange juice was exceptionally good. We also tried the downstairs restaurant and the service was very kind and quick.

Surprising luxury for very reasonable price!

Lots of space and comfortable bed! Excellent location near the cruise terminal and in street with many nice restaurants. Metro station is about 15 min walk away
