Well priced and perfect location.

This place was easy walking distance to the local landmarks. The hostel was comfortable and clean. It was a very good stay here.

Nothing, we were very happy here as a family of 7.

Value for the money with a few drawbacks.

The location was excellent, near to many restaurants and also convenience stores. The room itself was basic but serviceable and the air conditioning worked well. All in all a good choice for the budget.

Not enough breakfast items put out , didn’t get another first morning as a family with 2 kids took all the bread and the sachets of coffee leaving nothing. The sound insulation is not good especially anyone staying upstairs , the noise from the attic, not easy to sleep in in the morning.Value for

comfortable stay with affordable price.

the place is more likely to dorm staying. got 3 toilets so u no need to waiting even the toilet is for share. got many facilities like iron&iron board, hair dryer, instant coffee, water heater, 2 sinks, refrigerator and others. very comfortable

u can hear people at room beside talking. not so privacy. and parking need to pay ya, open parking. u can buy ticket at 7e beside. the place is open so need to be cautious especially for women.

A good location with all the necessity for a backpacker inn. Would return again

Nice place to stay for some nights:)

It's quite comfortable guest house with rooms, kitchen, several bathrooms, free coffee, bread and jams (it's breakfast that is mentioned on booking) and automatic check-in and check-out.

It's a bit hot inside - air conditioning is in rooms only. On the other hand there are fans on the second floor which you can switch on if needed.

Nice place, clean. With coffee, chocolate, tea, toast and toppings. Calm and very good location.

not worth the shot, find a better accommodation elsewhere

location is good, there's a nearby shortcut walking area that leads to bonker street.

poor communication on checkin process - we spent 10-15mins trying to figure out how to open the door. we had to find ways to be able to call them so we can figure it out. checkin process were on whatsapp, no receptionist at all. CR is dirty and the place is noisy, you can hear people from other rooms (so if you want a quiet place, I won't recommend this place)

Great value for money stay for a visit to Malacca, not far from the centre.

Everything. All rooms are private, comfy beds, air conditioning works very well, hangers for clothes, table, chair, everything you need. I had a double bed. Shower/toilet facilities are great. Use of kitchen appliances and free breakfast (coffee/toast with jam). Hostel is run remotely. 7-11 below for convenience. 10 minutes to centre of Malacca. Lots to see and do. Perfect for visiting Malacca.

Clean room and facilities Good Breakfast supplies were provided- bread, butter, jam along with toaster and coffee Very flexible with luggage drop Laundry provided with a nominal charge of 5RM

Checkin was a hassle, this is a self checkin property however instructions to enter were not shared well in time, we had informed about early arrival so was a bit of hassle until we were able to reach them only after 9am

Good budget stay in Melaka

Filtered drinking water available, electric kettle, hot plate, fridge, and self pay modern washer/dryer machines (5 RM). About 5-10 min walk to dutch square. Great value in this hotel. We didn’t see any staff/cleaners but the contact via whatsapp was almost always instant response and very clear english. Caution there is a small gecko living in the toaster! Please be careful not to harm it.

Seemed we did not have pillowcases so not sure how clean the bed was. Room felt a bit claustrophobic, wish there was AC or ventilation in the common spaces to spend some time out of the room. The middle bathroom seemed to have a leak so floor was always wet.

The Location was amazing. The Owner was very nice, we didn't meet in person because there is Self-CheckIn. There is a kitchen that you can use and free breakfast.

A Gem in the Middle of Malaysia

It was extra clean, had many facilities. The common areas were nice as well.

There was no staff whatsoever but still there was some communication over WhatsApp. Not ideal but it is what it is.

NOT HOSPITABLE HOST.

The place has a good potential, it’s very close to all attractions of Malacca. The local street market is right near the place, but it’s open only till 10:00 am. There are several restaurants and the grocery stores right near the place. Small kitchen provided with cooking equipment , refrigerator and appliances which you can use for cooking. Filtered water, coffee, hot chocolate provided for free. You can do your laundry right in the place with a drier next to it, it’s advertised as a free option, but in the reality you have to pay for it. I like the concept of the home stay with very interesting design. It’s a good space for a long stay with a good value for money .

It’s hard to find the place without navigation. Place doesn’t have a big sign, the name of the place written on the door, but the door itself always open, so you can miss the place even with navigation. The owner of the place never showed. He made me wait on the street for 5 hours, before I could enter the place. I understand that booking is after 3:00 pm, but when I call he didn’t answer. I sent him a message and he replied on it that I can enter the place only after 3:00 pm and gave me my room number. I was waiting till 3:30 pm , nobody came. in. Only , after the other guest called him , who as well was waiting to get in, he gave him a code to enter the door. When we entered the place, nobody was there. My question. Why didn’t you provide me with the code when you gave me my room number? What’s the point of it? It’s unprofessional.
