A great little cottage to stay in

The cottage is beautifully decorated - cozy and warm. Barely needed the heating on across whole weekend as it just stayed warm! Was also nice and warm when we arrived Friday afternoon which was a lovely touch. Perfect size for 3 couples. The location is great, an easy walk across the railway to the main part of town. Close to Ever Coffee which roasts their own great coffee. Close to Aldi and about an easy 1-1.5km walk to most restaurants in main part of Orange. The cottage had pretty much everything you needed for a weekend away and we cooked a dinner and breakfast there. Kitchen was generally well stocked.

Think that the cleaners could do a much more thorough job (look under lounges, beds, in kitchen cupboards etc). Provide proper BBQ utensils and something to clean the BBQ with after use (eg extra scrubbing sponges or paper towels). A light is required on the back porch so that you can cook a BBQ properly at night without needing a torch!

Exceptional

Loved the ambiance, the soft jazz playing when we arrived. Our great grand daughter loved the blackboard when she came to visit. Everything was just magic. Will stay again for sure

Great convenient place for visit to Orange, central to everything

Great location, nice walk to shops, cafes and eateries.House was very clean and comfortable .hoo sized kitchen, lounge areas and bathroom

Cute accommodation convenient to the Main Street of Orange.

easy walk to Main Street and restaurants. comfortable beds and living areas Quiet location with minimal road noise.

It had a couple of leaks from a storm that went through. The kitchen stool covers needed cleaning.

very cute

the a/c did not work for bedrooms and was 35 degree weekend. The lock on back French doors was not very strong and I worried about my computer being stolen

A great place to stay with a big group comfortably with everything accessible

Great communication from the hosts, the place was kept very clean and was stylishly designed, my entire family was happy with the stay

The central air-conditioning did not work and it was warm at night

Washing mashin or toilet liking water, could not use internet because there is no such connection and password, when I booked I got 25$discound because of single person but it wasnt counted when paid.

Looks good on photos but doesn't live up to expectations

Good location

When we arrived no toilet paper, no light bulbs in front bedroom, no dish towels, only 3 red wine glasses, no washing powder, tv didn't work, no fly screens, no key locks on back doors, poor security, broken chair in bedroom 3. Grass needed cutting, small dining plates.

Gorgeous cottage in an excellent location

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location.

We would agree with all of the previous feedback given for this property. It is a lovely property however at this price we expected at least a coffee pod machine, the TV to work properly, to find an ironing board not just an iron & to not fall off the armchair with the broken leg that still has not been fixed despite previous comments.

Our stay was short but comfortable and we would definitely stay there again.

The house was very well presented and comfortable.

There were no clean towels in the large room but found and used what was in the other room. There was used towel hanging in the back of the bathroom door when we arrived.

we had a nice time in Orange but the little things let the house down

location was very central to the town centre

We are pretty easy to please however I found the following very disappointing: Could not get any reception for the TV making it impossible to watch. There was no underlay on the bed that was made up for us. No light globe in the bedside table in the bedroom

Poor service

Townhouse itself was comfortable and conveniently located.

Only one bath towel supplied for 2 guests - and when I called to ask for more towels was told they’d drop ONE around the following morning if that was ok I advised no that wasnt ok and I wanted them dropped off that night. I was then asked to check a locked cupboard - when I unlocked the padlock it was to find a few kitchen supplies and on a shelf some linen - some of which looked like it had been thrown in there (not folded or stacked) I sent a photo and advised there was no towel in there and heard nothing back that night. At 9am we left and I sent a text to advise that no towels had ever arrived and I was unimpressed - was told they misunderstood and thought I only wanted the towels the night before. So feel free to book with these YSG people (apparently they have 47 properties) but take your own towels just in case they cannot be bothered to leave some for you - or get some to you when it is their mistake and their business to do the right thing by their guests. Another minor issue but one which also showed the lack of interest in looking after their guests TV didn’t work - I called on checkin to advise this as when we arrived we could hear a voice - the tv was tuned to ABC Jazz for a nice welcoming ambience but since it was clearly off station all we got was intermittent sound. We then tried all tv channels and the picture was pixelated and sound intermittent. I did say having a working tv wasn’t that important to us but was calling to let them know so it could be fixed. The reply was “thanks” with no offer to fix it. I gave them an out and they took it. They seem happy to take a booking but not to follow up any requests for help or to rectify any issues. Needless to say we won’t be back - and won’t stay at any of their other properties.
