Private studio - Adorable! Perfect for one or two people. Double French Doors open onto a little unpaved private road featuring your own outdoor sitting area for relaxing with a good book and your favorite beverage or dining al fresco next to a little flower garden. Our neighbors on both sides also supply lovely flower gardens - so good of them! This unit has a small kitchenette, the bath features a tiled shower, a queen bed as well as a fold out sleeper couch if needed. You are tucked into the charming village of Suttons Bay just a minutes walk from shopping, dining, the beach, the Tart Trail and located in the center of Leelanau County. Leelanau is home to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park, Leland Historic Fishtown, and many trails for hiking, biking and exploring. Golf courses are in good supply and the county boasts over 25 wineries to visit and taste local wines. Traverse City is 18 miles away if you crave a little more action. The dining scene there is vast and diverse.

Location was perfect. Walk to everything in Suttons Bay. Log weekend stay for a wedding at a nearby barn venue only 7 minutes away. The studio was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. More space than expected for the two of us, really nice new shower! All amenities were great. Host was wonderful. It was fun to walk to local restaurants for meals, the shops were high end, and the lake provided incredible views and hikes. We loved this stay.

The Buzzard’s Roost was centrally located to all the areas we wanted to visit from Northport, Leland, Suttons Bay to Traverse City. We visited the area to rock hound and celebrate our 26th anniversary. I was especially pleased that we were only a short drive to Leland. Parking directions were spot on and check in was a breeze. Perfect size for two people that needed a place to rest at night!

What a charming little crash-pad! It worked perfectly well for me, as a solo traveller. Holly was responsive and professional. Plus, Suttons Bay is a delightful place. All in all, a big winner.

The guest house in Sutton's Bay is lovely and the host was superb! The property was very clean and well supplied with towels, glassware, coffee pot/Keurig, etc. Very welcoming unit! We have been visiting the Leelanau Peninsula for over 30 years and used this guest house as our home base.

It was appropiate for 2 adults not under 30 yrs of age. It is delicate property. Location is perfect, nestled privately. A relaxing stay cuz we put ourselves in sync w the surroundings

This is truly a GEM!!! This had everything we needed for a four day getaway. Very cute, clean, large, and located one block from the Main Street. We could not have found a better place and will return here on our next visit to Suttons Bay. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this gem to anyone wanting the perfect place. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

The studio apartment was perfect for our stay in Sutton’s Bay. The location was convenient for walking into town and the marina where we had our boat for the week. Very clean and cozy with everything we needed for our stay.
Holly was a terrific host and very responsive. We will stay here again!

The Buzzard’s Roost was very clean and well kept. It was a perfect location for our trip and what we had planned. Very easy to find and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and gift shops in town. Would definitely stay there again if we get to that area in the future.

This is a great property from which to explore Suttons Bay and the Leelanau Peninsula.The property is attached to a main house whose occupants were respectful of the peace and quiet of the rental. The property was clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to rent again or recommend.

We came to the area for wine tasting and a weekend of relaxation. We are so grateful we chose Holly & Jerome's property. Holly's responsiveness was gracious and immediate, every single time I asked a question. She even arranged for Jerome to go buy a tea kettle when I asked about whether there was one in the unit! Instructions for accessing the unit were clear and the walk into town was just a few blocks - very easy. The unit was well-appointed and had everything we needed and that you'd expect a hotel suite to have (hair dryer, coffee maker, soap & shampoo) plus an extra treat left in the fridge for us: a bottle of bubbly. We had a lovely time!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, linens were awesome and it had everything you could possibly need. The location just blocks from town was a plus. Mr. and Mrs. Smith were exceptional to work with, I would highly recommend this property.

This location is easily within walking distance of all that Suttons Bay has to offer. The room itself is supremely comfortable and was impeccably clean. The hosts were very responsive. All in all, you cannot beat this studio for a trip for two to Suttons Bay. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I loved staying there and will come again if you’ll have me. I just think that checking in after 4 is kind of late when you have to leave at 10. You have nice neighbors and everything was great!!

Incredibly convenient location in Suttons Bay! We stayed to celebrate my wife's b-day and couldn't be happier! Clean, tidy, very well appointed and convenient to everything in Suttons Bay.
