Un bijou à Padang Bai

Marcel et Made nous ont offert un accueil extraordinaire, il s'est occupé de notre réservation de bateaux pour aller à Gili, s'est également occupé des transports pour venir et partir de leur villa. Marcel nous a expliqué la base de la philosophie balinaise et c'était vraiment intéressant. Nous avons eu droit à un souper de canard maison fait par Made.L'environnement, ses tortues, sa piscine et un des plus beaux levers de soleil vu de notre lit

Familiäre Unterkunft zum guten Preis

Das Hotel hat eine super tolle Aussicht. Man fühlt sich sofort wie in der Familie aufgenommen. Man kann vor Ort mit essen, was man definitiv auch machen sollte. Ich habe noch nie soooo gut gegessen. Marcel organisiert dir alles zu sehr fairen Preisen.

Der Weg dort hin ist abenteuerlich. Es ist wirklich wichtig, dass der Fahrer nach Google Maps fährt, da man sonst unten im Dorf rausgelassen wird und man seinen Koffer viele Stufen hoch schleppen muss. Im Nachhinein würde ich sagen, macht es Sinn den Transfer von Marcel organisieren zu lassen, da seine Fahrer wissen wo sie hin müssen.

Tolles Homestay

Wir waren 2 Tage bei Marcel und Made. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und sie waren stets bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Garten ist so liebevoll gestaltet. Danke für die schöne Zeit in Padangbai, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Liebe Grüße Sylvia, Dietmar und Alex

fabulous find in Padangbai

fabulous location and such a warm welcome. we really loved the cute rooms which all had amazing views over the bay. there was a beautiful breakfast in the morning. we decided to eat in for dinner and the food was delicious.

we had to leave so soon

Deux nuits c’était trop Peu! On reviendra c’est sûr !

Marcel est un sacré personnage libre passionné qui sait nous mettre à l’aise et chez qui on se sent bien . Tout est parfait , du confort des chambres, la situation en hauteur au calme tout en étant à 4 minutes à pieds du port , la vue spectaculaire sur la baie de pandang bai et les banana pancakes de Ketut!

Il faut être en bonne condition physique pour pouvoir gravir les marches jusqu’à à la propriété . Ça n’a pas été un problème nous concernant, mais c’est à savoir pour les individus fragiles

Une vue incroyable et une histoire passionnante

Une très belle vue qui donne sur le port et sur la mer, les repas et les petits déjeuners sont excellents. Le levé de soleil est magnifique pour ceux qui se lèvent tôt. L’histoire de Bali, sur sa magie, raconté par Marcel est fascinante.

Pas d’eau chaude et un faible débit de la douche. Pas de robinet dans le lavabo

Hotel hippie

El personal es muy amable. Te hacen una cena tipica Balinesa y muy rica. Hecha en casa y con mucho amor. Las mujeres que trabajan estan muy pendiente de que te sientas como en casa.

La llegada. Esta cerca del pueblo. Pero hay que subir 180 escaleras si vas andando. Es un pueblo con mucha conpetencia con el Grab y si quieres llegar via taxi a veces se complica. Porque no saben muy bien como llegar. Hablar primero con Marcel para que os ponga su conductor que conoce l9s caminos.

Nota de Booking vergonzosa!! Engañoso todo..

El sitio estaba muy sucio, había bastantes telarañas en el techo, ciempiés en la ducha (el baño exterior), no había agua caliente y nadie nos comentó nada, arena negra dentro de la cama. Y para poner la guinda en el pastel, el propietario nos gritó mientras desayunábamos (obviamente nos fuimos antes de terminar) por querer pagar después de desayunar.

Incredible Pandang Bay view

The view of Pandang Bay from the room terrace is incredible. Marcel and Made make you feel at home Each room is located in a detached apartment with a terrace that overlooks the bay and it has been beatifully done with traditional balinese construction techniques and crafts .

You need to be in good shape....many steps up from the town/beach...

Geweldige ervaring net een sprookje en de kleine vijvertjes, de schildpadden de huisjes op palen en het prachtige uitzic

Geweldige opzet, lost in the jungle gevoel. Secret place. Wel wat lastig te bereiken, de trap erg hoog met een koffer maar maakte het juist een belevenis. Had het niet willen missen.

De brulkikkers 🤣 luid concert in de nacht. Zwembadwater erg troebel.

Séjour exceptionnel

J’ai passé deux jours chez Made et Marcel , c’était parfait : un accueil chaleureux , une réactivité aux messages , transfert depuis le port ce qui est génial pour l’accès à la villa Manouria , on se sent comme à la maison Made est une excellente cuisinière et surtout de grandes discussions sur les traditions balinaises , c’était très interessant et je ne manquerai pas de revenir chez Made et Marcel. Merci 🙏

Worth every sent

Marcel, Maddy and Ketut so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. Full of knowledge where to go for shopping And our driver was fantastic. Beautiful home cooked meals, great views, and great pool. Loved it.

L’établissement est très bien placé.Les propriétaires sont des gens extraordinaires.Le boss est français et vs fera voir Bali autrement côté énergétique et spirituel.Sa femme Made est une femme très bienveillante qui prépare des petits déjeuners extra.. Ein toller Aufenthalt mit grandiosem Ausblick und herzlichem Empfang.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Es war eine liebevoll gestaltete und saubere Unterkunft mit einem grandiosen Ausblick über die Stadt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und es wurde sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Das Zimmer selbst hat eine nettes Außenbad mit einem tollen Blick, viele Ablageflächen und einen tollen Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Von der Unterkunft erreicht man in wenigen Minuten den Ortskern und auch der White Sand Beach ist gut und in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll zubereitet und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir haben den kleinen Ort unterschätzt und würden das nächste mal unbedingt länger bleiben, auf jeden Fall auch in dieser Unterkunft.

Nachts war es bei geöffnetem Fenster durchaus laut, dies hat aber nicht weiter gestört. Das Moskitonetz weist einige Mängel auf, dies sollte zeitnah ersetzt werden.

Unique bay view and super knowledgable hosts. Watch out the way up by foot to the villa

Beautiful View over the town to the bay. Incredible view of sunrise from the bed. Seperate hut with bedroom and resting outside space under the terrace. Nice real turtles in the garden. The owner has ca 25 of them. Good recommendation for eating.Nice breakfast. Fantastic gecko living in the room.

You need to leave scooter in the low part of the town and then climb 170 high stone steps up the hill to the villa...with all your luggage. Alternatively you can get by scooter directly to villa but taking 30 min addittional route on the roads around the town (opposite direction than we came from).The room is tiny. The bathroom is outside so you cannot chill it down.

Formidable et reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! 💖

La maison est incroyablement charmante, typique avec un petit jardin luxuriant, une petite piscine très agréable et une vu vers l’océan inoubliable. Nos hôtes qui ont remplacés Marcel sont exceptionnels, un accueil des plus chaleureux. Nous avons adorés rencontrer des personnes également en voyage et avons passés une super belle soirée tous ensemble autour d’un super diné.

Je me ceci dans les point négatifs mais je tiens à préciser que selon moi c’est le charme de PADANGBAI, en effet il y’a du bruit mais c’est une ville qui vit au rythme du port.

Bene ma non benissimo.

Totalmente immersa nella natura, bagno all’esterno, posizione comoda per raggiungere il porto di padangbai, colazione ottima e servizio pick up aeroporto molto comodo. Camera molto economica.

Troppo rumorosa, non pulitissima, siamo rimasti tutta la notte senza corrente quindi senza aria condizionata e senza la possibilità di caricare i telefoni.

Superb

Situated in the hillside you really are at one with nature. Great experience and lovely staff. The owner took us down to the port in the morning for our boat to gili.

A few holes in the mosquito net and the room wasn't very well sealed so you feel a little exposed. Good thing the giant gekos in the ceiling eat the mosquitos to protect you! (It was cool to see them and they are harmless). Accessibility was not the best so maybe avoid if you have trouble getting around.

HORROR NIGHT WITH INSECTS EGGS

Nothing at all. It was a relief leaving the next morning.

Horror night. The room was extremely dirty, we had one spider inside each of the insect net, when we asked to remove, the host said: He wish we didn’t see it!. All bed sheets were dirty (image attached) and insect net broken, which makes no sense at all having it, and the most disgusting thing: INSECT EGGS on the curtains! Unbelievable! When we try to go out that night, there was a dog barking us and following us, we had to run back to the “horror hotel” to escape without getting hurt. Obviously we were not brave enough to try the breakfast! A night to remember.

Magnificent views, delightful hosts. We loved our stay

Marcel and Madi made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived, and their combined knowledge about the local area and boat schedules made our forward planning a lot easier. They arranged boat tickets for us, which took all the stress out of the process. The view from the rooms is nothing short of breathtaking, and the surrounds are beautifully kept. Breakfast was lovely.

There are quite a number of steps from the village up to the villa, which could prove challenging to the unfit/elderly, but it is the elevation of Villa Manouria that gives rise to it's magical views. Road access to the villa is via a side road that branches off the main road a few kilometers before the village.

Of all the places we stayed in 3 mo this, this was the best by a mile!

We've been in Bali for 3 months and stayed at a lot of places. This one is the BEST BY A MILE! The views are magnificent, the pool is amazing, the common areas are so fun and unique. Staying here is truly an experience to remember!

The ambient and decor were cute, very nice view. The staff were extremely helpful and offered nice meals. i recommend the banana pancakes.

the property was very hard to find (google maps was no help) and we had to hike up around 200 stairs with our luggage. also we were woken up at 6 am for an hour’s maghrib prayer from a loudspeaker nearby. in the bathroom the shower was broken and had almost zero water pressure.

Very good

The room was so good, in a very strategic position to the harbour. Very panoramic wiew. Hosts were so kind to make us feel like home.

The only point against is that to reach the villa there is a very long stairway, but rhe owners will help you with all your luggages.
