Good size room for two friends sharing. Lovely bathroom once I'd sussed how to switch the light on. Nice and clean. Short walk to a nearby pub.

No kettle in the room. Disastrous as I always travel with my own coffee and tea! We were up early but had to wait till the earliest cafe opened in Cambridge which was 8.30. Hatd work for two coffee addicts. There was a little coffee machine in the room with those coffee pods which my friend out of desperation tried and pronounced "disgusting" . We knew we couldn't get breakfast in the pub because it was a Thursday morning but assumed we could make our own coffer/tea. This was our only gripe because it was a great lpace to stay. We'll definitely stay again but unless they get a kettle I'll take my own.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean with lovely fresh linen. It was a short walk to a pub on the river for dinner that offered really good food as the Shepherd was fully booked.

Nothing that really made the stay unenjoyable but the room we had was sutiable for disabled but the overhead shower did not work and the towel rail seemed to run at full blast the entire time which made us feel a bit like we were wasting energy but no way to turn it down. There was a ledge to put stuff on whilst in the bathroom but it was above the toilet and with no toilet seat lid on the toilet it left us feeling like something could easily fall into the toilet. There was a lot of noise from other people staying at the pub for the night including dogs in the next room who seemed to be either left alone to bark or the owners did not mind the dogs barking whilst they slept but the noise was significant enought to be slightly irritatiing which may or may not be becasue of poor sound insulation for the rooms but again not that significant to make it unbearable.

clean with some lovely touches. entrance door needs rehanging, electric heater sounded like water dripping! bath takes an age to empty

Room nice and spacious, comfy bed. I dined in evening, food really good, service great. I had to leave before breakfast, sadly the breakfast service starts at 9am, however the lovely lady did offer a takeaway breakfast.

Excellent rooms. So clean. Parking great. Very friendly and helpful greeting staff. Great location. Park and ride very close. Would recommend.

Cannot make tea with tea pods in a coffee machine!! Tea will have a strong coffee taste. I ran 4 pints of water through machine with no pod in....brown coffee flavoured water never ran clear. 1st world problem i accept but my 88 year old mother couldn't have her morning drink. As was 7.30am main hotel building locked ...too early to pop over and request hot water. Felt awful sending most of breakfast back. Set menu alas exactly the food we didn't want to eat. It would stop us returning sadly. Hate waste. Couple next to us had same thoughts/ complaint.

Lovely location very clean and comfortable ideal base for looking round Cambridge.

Tea and coffee making facilities Had coffee machine with very small cups A kettle and mugs and more choice of beverages would have been appreciated. Especially after a busy day exploring.

Very easy to communicate with staff when we arrived late, extremely clean and comfortable and peaceful, and no hassles at all!!! Loved it.

very clean room lovely bright and airy

I was really happy that we could eat our meals with our dog beside us. The evening meal was a delightful experience and the service was excellent.

The breakfast was only available from 9 until ten am. There was no choice just take it or leave it! Tiny pieces of fruit in yogurt with a sprinkling of muesli on top. In a very small pot. One slice of bacon one sausage one hard boiled poached egg and a small thin slice of potatoes mush very fatty. Toast was stale very hard to eat and cut !! A very mean and extraordinary rubbis
