Staff very helpful with an issue outside of their remit

The ongoing refurbishment which, I am sure will not take too long, was a bit of a disappointment to be not know about beforehand ... A short term issue for an otherwise excellent hotel

to get to your room you had to cross a corridor that was being renovated - not a pleasant experience unpleasant smell in the room there is never anyone at the reception desk

Everything about the hotel is okay.

The receptionist is always missing. The hotel management needs to put at least a staff at the reception every time.

The hotel room was perfectly clean, with all the facilities working at the highest level, and really quiet. Whether you come for business or pleasure, it's the perfect place to stay one or two nights and have a nice and undisturbed sleep.

If I have to pick something that seemed a bit strange was the fact that I didn't meet too much staff at the reception during my stay (even when I checked in, I had to wait some time for someone to come there), so the atmosphere seemed a bit cold. But the actual receptionists that I interacted with towards the end of my second day there were actually quite nice and helpful. It's just that they were not around too much, that's all.

Very silent rooms, comfortable bed. Good breakfast

Obviously an old hotel - some bits renovated but that didn't stop the room from smelling old.
