It was good value for money. We recommend it.

Everything: the location, right in the middle of pedestrian area, but still quiet enough. The room was as in the photos, clean and good size. The receptionists called to check if we needed anything. The bed was comfy and quite good size. The bathroom was very clean. There were toiletiries and clean good size towels. The breakfast was good and varied with nice touches like fruits, yogurt and egg. We had to leave early in the morning and they prepared a breakfast to go. You get a 10% discount at the partner restaurant (very popular Hemingway) opposite the hotel. There were slippers, hangers and enough space in the closet. The second bedroom had a single bed (not a sofa bed) and closet.

Very good guest house in Plovdiv

Friendly, professional and responsive staff. Great location. Very good breakfast.

The stuff

It was OK, but I expected more. The apartment was spacious, but everything was old. There wasn't hot water!!! This is unacceptable! Later, we figured out we had to switch the boiler, and waited an extra hour to have a quick shower. The stuff was very nice though and the breakfast was good. But for that money I will go some places better next time.

Fantastic location, kind and helpful staff

Amazing experience, beautiful hotel in the centre of Plovdiv. visited for the second time and will come back again. Highly recommended

Good for short term stay in Plovdiv.

The size of the accommodation and the location are very good.

Need to improve the breakfast or make it optional. The TV needs upgrading.

Exceptional

Location was excellent right in the city old quarter with lots of cafes and restaurants closeby. We had fantastic breakfast in the cafe next door and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommend it for short or longer trip.

I didnt like the curtains, although they look good it took long time to close them in the evening and open again in the morning. But that's only a small inconvenience.

comfortable stay at amazing location

Very spacious, amazing location, quiet pedestrian street

breakfast could be improved - coffee and fresh orange juice was lovely, if you can add a freshly made omelette and remove the tons of tiny things in jar, the breakfast will improve dramatically :-)

Overall it is satisfied to stay at Villa Antica with large room and convenient location.

Breakfast is good but it should have different selection for each day. We stay 4 days with the same items every day. That was boring. The location is excellent and that is the reason for our choice.

pleasant place in the heart of Plovdiv

Perfect location in the heart of Plovdiv. The staff were polite and always ready to help. The studio we have booked was quite spacious. There is a freshly squeezed orange juice as part of the breakfast which was well appreciated. Overall a nice place to spend the weekend at.

Unfortunately there was no elevator in the building and our studio was on the top floor. The building we stayed at was well renovated but the construction itself was old which made the closet to shake every time we walked nearby it. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street and if you are arriving by car you should leave it wherever available (sometimes you might not be lucky and will have to walk some time between your paid public parking area and the hotel). As we had a lot of luggage it was quite inconvenient (no trolley provided from the hotel for an easier luggage transport to the hotel from the car). In April it is still cold in Bulgaria and unfortunately the AC stopped working (error) on the last night of our stay. Our phone line was also not working. The breakfast starts at 8am and it was served in a nearby cafe (beneath their sister hotel). No yoghurt was provided and it was the exact same all the 3 days of our stay.

Excellent stay which exceeded our expectations

The hotel location is excellent. In the city center, next to the central street. It is easily reachable by car. The welcome was great and we got a walk around over our apartment by the staff. Just at the opposite side of the street there is an excellent place for lunch and dinner (Hemingway) for which we had a discount as hotel guests. The apartment was spacious and we were pleasantly surprised by the separate room with a normal bed for the third person. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious and nice start of the day. We will definitely return on our next stay in Plovdiv.

you have to find a parking spot nearby as the hotel doesn't offer such, but that's normal as you are in the heart of the city

Hotel was convenient for sight seeing and would recommend it to others.

Very good breakfast in Cafe next door. Friendly staff. Good sized room in small hotel in quiet side street off main piazza and very central. Nice deco - "shabby chic".

No central heating only an Aircon to heat a bit so room was chilly as the weather was very cold that week. Probably fine in summer months. Presume breakfast is then served on the patio of hotel.

Good but ...

Nice location amazingly polite and positive staff

Our room was non smoker but it smelled like cigarettes smoke all the time. We suspected the AC unit blew the smoke in since people were smoking right below it. We complained and the reaction we got was "wow really ?" Looked like that know about it but nothing to do about it. Don't get room 11 :-D
