My wife, my son and his wife along with their 2 dogs stayed for the long 4th of July weekend. If your looking for privacy ... this place is great. The house was spotless. And the Host thought of everything. The details they provided are much more than the listing displayed. The pictures only show half the story. All you need is your food and drinks and clothes. Everything you can think of... they provided. The pool was clean and refreshing. The air conditioning was nice and cold. Wifi was great. As a bonus , the surrounding neighborhood put on an amazing fireworks display. Every block in every direction was a like a professional show. We enjoyed it from the pool. Dogs not so much. Other than that , the neighborhood was quiet. Very close to the beach. Great restaurants and any stores you may need. In all, we had a great restful time. Would definitely stay again. The property is clean and tidy, and provided basic cooking implements. The grill in the back yard was a nice touch. WiFi and TV were great. Easy to get to Ft Pierce, and we were looking for something away from any crowds - so was ideal for us.

The house was clean but the furnishings are dated. The one mattress made creaking noises every time you moved. The lighting in the one bedroom was poor. There were small kitchen appliances in what looked liked a fairly new remodeled kitchen and a few well used pots and pans. There were plenty of glassware and dishes. The pool was clean but not heated so thats something I'll have to check for if we rent again. The biggest problem was the toilets. We had trouble getting them to flush and they weren't plugged. The area had alot of rain while we were there and previous to our visit. There was water standing in yards and streets in the neighborhood. We found out the area has septic systems and the extra ground water was probably affecting it. When it would rain hard we couldn't hardly get the paper to go down but when it stopped raining for a few hours they were fine.

everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay here. Pool was clean and nice temperature. There is a park nearby that we walked around and overall great place! Would stay there again.

My kids and I really loved this house and pool! It was a perfect vacation!

I just read a review that someone posted yesterday and I feel like we stayed at different places. We were there from Sunday until today. The furniture is a little dated but the house was spotless. My boyfriend and I are neat/clean freaks. In fact I had to put a band aid on the sliding glass door to make sure I didn’t try and walk through it. The pool had debris in it when we arrived, it had been very windy for days, so I messaged Josie who responded immediately and said the pool service came on Tuesdays but she was happy to stop by and take care of it. All of the appliances/A/C, toilets etc. worked perfectly. Josie was a pleasure to rent from and very expeditious in responding! Thank you Josie!!

upon arrival, the first 2 nights no heat, place was filthy, curtains falling off windows, toilet leaking, shelves falling off wall, found food under living room furniture with ants, the gas grill was like someone cooked a rubber tire on it, when I lit it I thought I was going to burn down the house, the flames were shooting out the back about 3 feet in the air and it ran out of propane. The shrubs were literally growing into the pool, which they ended up cut down. The original pics on web showed some grass for pets, there was none, the grass is actually outside the fence. The picture of street they show on the website with tall palm trees, and nice and quiet is actually about 10 miles away which is where the beach is. The screen door was/is ripped & would not close. The washer drains outside south side door on top of ground, If you use that door you track in dirt and grey water to the floor. The kitchen light worked intermittently, beds are terrible to sleep in, noisy and very worn out. After we finally got owner to show up, it turns out she knew about all the issues, and the cleanliness issues, she said she replaced the cleaning crew, and we spent the first 12 days of our 29 days with her, her workers and contractors attempting to fix and clean the house. she thanked us for letting her improve for the next renter. She did fix most of the issues at our inconvenience, but we still wasted almost 1/2 of our time being available for her, her maintenance crew and contractors, we asked for a partial refund and were denied. While there, the house directly across the street spent most of Friday and Saturday nights blowing and air horn that sounded like a train in the front yard, and we also got attacked by a 80 lb. bulldog that lives 2 houses south and across the street as we were walking our dogs. the last item, about 2 weeks there a contractor shows up at door, wants to take pictures of pool and tells us they will be coming in the next couple days to dig up the patio and look for a leak in the pool, that it loses water every couple weeks...We did decline to allow that to happen and were granted a delay for pool repairs. needless to say, The refusal to refund anything is a huge item after this stay in fort pierce and it also shows that VRBO does not check on the properties they advertise and make sure they are as they say. I will do my best to not use VRBO ever again and will say this house could be a nice place to stay if they put some effort into it, I hope the next people that rent this do reap the rewards of our disappointment.

Found this stay very comfortable.
