Avoid if you can.

Location is good to catch a Toy Train. This town is only for that from tourism perspective. Room size is good, It’s clean.

Bathroom fittings are is the most horrible state. Water tabs, shower, Flush, Jet spray do not work at all.

Not at all comfortable and we have not slept at all because of open to all as well as they took 3200.00 for 7 hours stay

It’s a marriage hall connected with rooms. curtain and all it’s open to all outsiders. Bathroom and rooms are not clean at all. Don’t have Bathroom phasers

Budget hotel, close to the station. Don’t expect much. It might smell badly.

No breakfast

The smell of the room was terrible. It stank of the toilets. The worst ive ever had a hotel room smell. I complained, the staff sprayed, but it made no difference. I also waited for hours for wifi, and made many requests, but it never happens during my stay.

Because of location we had to stay there, so for one night we manged, otherwise waste of money

Food was good. Location is very near to railway station.

Cockroach roam full night in the room as well as in bathroom. No crockery available from hotel side, the provide only disposables. Service is poor.

The Oscar Banquet Hotel is clean, great value, conveniently located close to the Railway Station and staff are helpful.

The Oscar Banquet Hotel is just 500 metres from the Kalka Railway Station. The room was clean, air conditioned, hot water worked and the staff were exceptionally helpful about answering my queries prior to my arrival. It was excellent value for money.

No manager, no restaurant facility. No billing system. These are very much essential.

Very small room and condition of toilets very poor. No proper tiolitries including the towels. Towels very old and shabby.

Worst experience ever...

Just location. It's walking distance from Kalka Railway station.

1. Poor quality of beds. 2. Dirty and synthetic bedsheets. 3. Worst quality blankets. 4. Could not sleep whole night as there is a banquet hall on the 1st floor of the hotel and whole night party was going on with high volume music and base which was shaking the whole building. 5. Mineral water bottle was not provided. 6. Bathrooms were also not clean.

Very good

Staff very helpful. We arrived very late & left very early & staff remained friendly & helpful - kept our luggage overnight while in Shimla, & organised a taxi to the airport for us. Very close to Kalka railway station. Clean, comfortable a/c rooms.
