Everything was wonderful. The room was very comfortable. It was quite, spacious, we enjoyed the pool. It was sparkling clean. Breakfast was good too.

A great stay in Chania

Warmly greeted by staff Excellent room.. we had our private plunge pool as well as larger pool Very nice breakfast Lovely gardens .. very well maintained Property was immaculate Yannis, the owner, was very helpful with tips about Chania Thoroughly recommend this property

3 days in paradise

good location to explore west side of the island, the pool is very pleasant, good breakfast, the owner is extremely nice and gave us a lot of useful information, comfortable bed and great shower. the balcony with all the plants and the pool view is a great plus.

An absolutely lovely hotel surrounded by a garden

We spent a two-week holiday in July at Dionysso Village. In advance, I was a little nervous about what the place would be like, because we were only relying on the internet. There is another 14-year-old special child in the family, who poses his own challenges. Dionyssos Villgage was the perfect vacation spot for us. A suitably small place where a diverse pool is surrounded by a green garden everywhere. The host family took good care of their guests, making sure everyone was in the holiday mood. Lovely staff at work in the restaurant, where various themed evenings were organized, from a magician to a traditional Greek evening. The time was spent well at the pool, although there were several good swimming spots in the sea nearby.

Wifi didn't really work in the room. The one air conditioner in the room was not enough to cool the room from the bedroom to the living room where the children slept.

A fantastic stay- we were sad to leave!

Dionysus Village is a beautiful hotel just outside Chania. The tropical garden and immaculate pool were stunning and the staff were excellent and always there to help. We’d definitely stay here again

As the hotel is set in a tropical garden, mosquito bites were an issue for the first few days so make sure to bring good insect repellent. Other than that we loved the place

Fabulous stay - wish we could’ve stayed longer

Family apartment had everything and more we needed. Gorgeous atmosphere around the pool/bar area. AMAZING bar staff, super friendly and attentive, rapid service, could not fault. Owner/managing staff were always there for any queries, even booked our taxis for us and gave us insight into the local area. Apartment cleaned thoroughly every couple of days with fresh linens and towels - what more could you want!? 3 of the best local beaches within 10 mins walking distance. Great beach bars. Welcoming and safe area. Would definitely recommend hiring a car and visiting elafonisi beach and balos beach - so worth the drive. :)

The smallest and only fault we could think of was the slight miscommunication on the airport transfer. This transfer that we arranged didn’t turn up, so after an hour of waiting, we had to organise our own way to the hotel. Later it was explained as a fault with the van, but on calling the property the manager on the day had no recollection of the arrangement.

We had a great stay in Dionyssos Village. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing hotel set in a beautiful garden with orange, lemon trees and tropical flowers. The pool is big, set within the garden and there is also a separate kids pool. The staff is very friendly and looking after you. We had 1 bedroom apartment which was specious for 4 of us with all the facilities you need. Kitchen was well equipped however we did not cook. Breakfast was very nice, with some different options every day. Hotel is nearby 2 shops for your daily needs and not far from the numerous beaches. I recommend the Golden Beach which is the further one.

Wonderful !

This is by far one of the nicest Places i have ever stayed. Mr Dionyssos & all the staff were so wonderful & friendly. The room was so clean & kept that way during our stay. The property is a little patch of Paradise kept so well by a full time gardener. Location is perfect. Staying here made our Holiday in Chania even more special & i plan to return , which is something i normally would not do but staying here & visiting Chania has changed that. I loved ever minute of it :)

Amazing & friendly hotel near the best beaches

Amazing family-owned hotel. We came after midnight but Mr Dionyssos was waiting for us and had taken water and wine to our room since it was so late already. The breakfast was really good, fresh and changed everyday. The pool area was stunning with lots of citrus trees and flowers.

In early May, the pool water was a bit chilly :)

Dionyssos is an actual oasis

I honestly don't know where to start. Everything about Dionyssos exceeding out expectations! The staff were WONDERFUL. From the moment we checked in we had such a warm welcome and felt it right til the moment we left. They were so much fun, kind & attentive. We opted to eat at the restaurant more than we expected because its hard to find anywhere nicer. Some reviewers weren't a fan of the breakfast but we disagreed. (It's not a full English if that's what you're expecting.) it's more continental but with hot food that changes daily. The hotel, grounds & restaurant were an actual oasis. The lush green plants everywhere, water feature & general relaxed demeanor are done so well & were exactly what we needed. I even had a massage by the pool. What more could you ask for!! We stayed in the room with a private pool & the balcony was one of the most idyllic places I've ever seen with pomegranate plants climbing all around you & totally quiet & private. It even gets the sun late afternoon in October so it was perfect for hanging out when we were done with the pool or the beach. The beach is SO close & there are 3 lovely ones to choose from. Also there is a clifftop viewpoint a few minutes walk away that the owner recommended with incredible sunset views. We cannot wait to go back to Dionyssos!

Best honeymoon destination

We picked this hotel for our honeymoon and it was amazing choice! Hotel is very clean, swimming pool is big, area around is very relaxing. Whenever you turned there was orange, lemon, grapes or banana hanging from the tree. Romantic oasis. Room was so pretty, clean and beautifully decorated, one of the best one we were in. Breakfast is very good, every week there is greek night or seafood night (both declicous). Within 10 min walking distance there are 3 beaches, bus stop to Chania and grocery shops so location is very handy. Owner, Dionysos (amazing man), Konstantina and all staff members were extremely frendly, everyday they were making sure we have a great stay. We absolutely loved our holidays and want to thank so much again for creating such a beautiful memories for us on our honeymoon!!!

Good enough

The welcome was really nice. The garden is beautiful with a lot of flowers and fruits. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was good. Perfect breakfast, a lot of food. Beaches not far from the hotel.

The hotel is old fashions. Pictures are better than reality. Village style. The pool has a strong smell of chlorine. Probably good for families with children but not for young couples.

Highly recommended

Beautiful gardens and pool area, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was great with freshly squeezed orange juice and a varying menu each day (guests required to use gloves for serving due to COVID precautions). We were offered a larger apartment on the second floor upon check-in but we decided to keep our original basement apartment as it was much cooler (even prior to turning the AC on). Room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Pool towels were provided. We were also able to borrow a beach umbrella.

We woke up to find a dead cockroach on the kitchen floor one morning but otherwise nothing! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Crete!

Amazing Family Stay In Excellent Surrounding

The village is a very high quality accommodation. The rooms are very comfortable, common areas are very well maintained, and the landscape is simply amazing. The staff is super friendly, owners are always around and helpful. Two amazing beaches are just short walk from hotel, and there are many lovely taverns around, including the one in the hotel itself.
