Nice sized bedrooms

Hotel is dated, needs a lot of work. Pool area untidy and you have to request the hot tub w4 hrs in advance which we did but was never filled up.

Very nice people, very helpful and welcoming. Good to have a pool and the breakfast was fine.

It's a bit run down in the main reception area. Coffee was really bad at breakfast (almost salty - it's from the water in the tap which has the same taste)

Breakfast and bar area is nice with a lovely view over the vineyards and the sea. Wifi is good with good AC and comfy bed and nice hot showers. Ticks every box.

It is a very long walk from Madalena City Centre but if you have a car then this place is great to stay at. If you don't have a car the owner will drive you into town for 5 euros. Pool is pretty good with greenhouse area for if it is cold.

Breakfast was a wonderful spread!

The room was humid, not sure if because of the toilet without a window and enough ventilation or something else. In the morning you could see the humidity on the big window/door to the balcony and we were waking up a bit sweaty.

The property is beautiful with gorgeous views! We really enjoyed swimming in the covered pool during a rain storm. The breakfast was outstanding, delicious and lots of selection. But the best was definitely the hosts, the nicest people that made our stay perfect (Sweetie is pretty great too)!

Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working while we were there. The location is outside of town, so It’s best to have a car, or enjoy walking.

Very nice spot to travel everywhere on the island. You can see the mountain top from the property if the clouds allow it. There's a pool with views to the sea and the mountain (although we did not use it it looked quite nice). The rooms are spacious and you have everything you might need (including hairdryer, TV and AC).

The rooms had been closed for a while so they smelled a bit musty. We had to air it out every time we had the windows closed for a while, but as it was windy it wasn't too bad. The bathrooms drains aren't draining very well. The bed was only OK, we expected a better mattress.

Breakfast were not available at this time of the year. We liked the amazing owners, the situation and the clean rooms.

Comfort in the beds

Spatious room, very clean. Balcony with a nice view of the area.

Location is only convenient when you have a car. Distant staff. Chaotic taxi service of the hotel, which is rather expensive. However, be aware, regular taxi service charge you diffently each time you want to travel to the hotel from Madalena city center (from 8 to 15€). Small bed. No refrigerator. Simple breakfast.
