一間簡單的民宿，接收及交回門匙都是通過 email ，但是都沒有提前發送。

空間寬闊，廚房設備齊全。

門匙是通過 email 提示怎樣取，但是入住前一日都沒有收 email，要電話聯絡才再次發送 email。房間存放了太多屋主的雜物。屋內家具舊，床鋪太軟，衛生紙不足。空間大，但只有 1 間厠所，5 位旅客要排隊使用。

Very pleasant & comfortable stay. Good & informative communications prior to arrival.

Clarence Cottage was an ideal & quiet location for our 7 day visit to Christchurch. The 3 bedroom cottage accommodated our group of 4 adults comfortably at a reasonable cost. Off street parking a bonus and within a short 10 min drive of PaknSave supermarket & mall for all supplies. Several small eating places & convenience store 350m walk to Lincoln Rd. Uber ride average $10 to City Centre was ideal for seeing City sights & visiting restaurants without the hassle of finding city parking. Wi-Fi connection, heating & hot water supply was excellent.... and the provision of a Coffee plunger was very well utilised thank you!

Double beds very soft for some. Limited amount of tumblers & drink ware for 4 adults. Initial supply of hand soap & sanitiser in bathroom was minimal until we were able to replenish & provide in our own grocery shopping.

Well past its best.

All the beds were very uncomfortable, broken springs on the single beds. Springs were also gone in the sofas. Bathroom soap dispensers were broken or empty. The kitchen was very basic of all utensils. House was very dark, not much sunlight coming in, due to the garden being completely overgrown. The garden furniture was unusable due to being covered in mould. Neighbours were noisy at all hours of the day, and the washing machine was unusable due to the deafening noise it made. Electrics were very unsafe and overloaded, as seen in the photo posted. Carpets were stained, walls were marked, I could go on... It's not worth staying at. I can easily find some place better.

Exceptional

Perfect location, clean, and comfortable. Host was brilliant, awesome communication and the cottage was awesome for our needs.

A couple of weeks things, but seriously not complaining- only earl grey tea available, and could not find any scissors to open the milk, but such a minor thing, qdefinitely didn't change my opinion of the place, just might be something for the owner to consider? Will definitely recommend this wee place, perfect for friends or for a family.

The location was great. Easy parking. Perfect quiet place to stay for our family with plenty of room. Excellent communication from the property owner. Helpful that we could do some laundry while there.

Advertised on the propert as a 9.8 in 2016. Needs work to get back there.

perfect size. beautiful wee cottage. quiet location. lovely shaded garden.

shabby. in need of painting (chipped paint and marks). missing and chipped crockery and glassware. horribly uncomfortable sofas and uncomfortable beds. ran out of loo paper provided (on Christmas Day). shower a bit grim around the doors. no window coverings on the smaller windows. has a hard wired hairdryer in the bathroom hanging right next to and level with the toilet bowl.

Great, everything we needed to suit our concert attendance at the arena.

Had missed the instructions about key collection as they were at the end of a whole conversational thread of emails via booking .com but easily sorted out. Great location handy for the event we attended at Christchurch Arena.

Fridge is intermittently very noisy. Trees in garden could do with cutting back to allow more light into garden and lounge area.

Wonderful cottage - great hosts and really great value for money

Lovely bungalow - the host put the heating on for us which was really thoughtful - great cottage perfect for our visit - close to the bus route so easy to get into town really cheaply if you don't have your own transport - great stay

We will definitely book this house again.

The location of the cottage was absolutely perfect for us. Our host has switched on the lights and heatpump to make our evening arrival very welcoming. Good choice of eateries just around the corner.

well located, warm and comfortable little house which easily sleeps 6. comfortable beds, lots of hot water, good facilities and friendly host.

could do with a new couch with more seating. some cleaning products would also be a good addition

Nice 3 bedroom home, great value stay

Very roomy, great kitchen and shower.

The shelves in the shower were very unstable and we couldn’t put anything on them.

Great for a family.

Great location, property is at private at rear of drive so no road noise. It's easy to find your way into town and has amenities close by.

Next time in Christchurch will love to stay there again.

Great location, close to Coffee, Cafes, and Restaurants- about 2 blocks away. Cottage was very comfy, clean and relaxing. Very friendly and easy to get a hold when we needed to. Very clear on how to get keys and what to do before we left. The shower was wonderful- great water pressure- not poor like a hotel.

The pillows were rather lumpy, should be replaced. The beds were rather firm and I had a hard time getting to sleep- I preferer a soft bed. However, the rest the family slept great!

It was in a quiet location. good kitchen to use, shower was good.

It wasn't as clean as I would have expected. We pulled the sofa away from the wall to get something we dropped and it was very dirty, old toothbrush lots of dust and few other bits of rubbish and dirt. The place smelled a bit musty, it is an old house but wasn't nice. Also we were only left with 4 1/2 small cheap toilet rolls for 3 people for 5 nights. It is also located in very close proximity to a cellphone tower, that might not bother many people but it did bother me.

Ants got into our platter and picnic basket...Very used frayed towels, some curtains were hanging down. Mays creased unsafe by the door. 2 chairs from the Outdoor furniture broke on us. Thought for price-it would be more upmarket!
