Really, relaxing trip in a cosy house with amazing views and lovely walking routes.

We loved our stay here, the views, the access to the beach and the looped walk and the lovely pub close by. The house was really comfy and had everything we could have needed. I would definately recommend for a relaxing trip. Helen was very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

Although we absolutely didn't mind it, we were unaware that we would have to pay for electricity and oil on top of the booked cost. It wasn't a large charge for us, but this should be a little clearer when booking.

the ocean and the home restored our souls

This place for retreat RIGHT ON THE SEA is astounding! There is a path along the cliff to the left of the house past an old well dedicated to St. Patrick that holds wonder. Renewing for body soul and mind, a sweet sweet retreat place we can't wait to return to next year.

Warm , comfortable, homely and right beside the sea. Could not be better!

The location is utterly stunning and Helen leaves the house so homely, with flowers and freshly baked bread. It is a treat to stay here.The open front door reveals poor magic in the calm and wild seas of the Wild Atlantic Way. This house is a lovely comfy stay and we have been back many times.

What a spot!

Unrivalled location in Sligo - right opposite the beach in Aughris head with amazing beach bar right next door serving excellent food and great Guineas all day. Welcome was lovely with thoughtful little touches. Very clean and great facilities. Really spacious inside. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent host & excellent location

Helen is an excellent host as the house is so well equipped it feels like you are at home and very nice touch on arrival to be greeted with fresh brown bread, sweets, wine & fresh flowers. The house is an unique location literally on the water's edge so you just have to open the window to hear the sound of the waves. You can get into your swimming gear, go across the road for your swim & walk back for a hot shower in the laundry room. Extra bonus points for being 50 meters from the Beach bar so a short walk home at night.

Perfect location for a restful holiday

The location is perfect, by the beach, a short stroll to the pier and the 4km Aughris head loop walk is a must. Also the Beach bar is really close and they serve great food. Helen is really helpful. Home away from home!

What a sweet, warm and cosy little house. The setting was beautiful. The Waters Edge is just that. There is nothing in front of you but the sea. You can sit at the kitchen table or on the couch or on your bed and look through the quaint little windows out at the sea. Perfect location for going for walks either along little country roads or out along the beach. Friendly Beach Bar Pub next door with eat in or out options. A rare find. Helen the landlady is such a warm and welcoming lady. She went out of her way to welcome us. She has her special touch with little vases of cut flowers, chocolates and wine and she made us a tea Brach which we enjoyed thoroughly. Our favourite place in Ireland so far. It was like a home away from home. Thank you so much Helen. V
