Literally on the beach!

Perfect setting right on the beach. Excellent food (best grilled fish ever!)

It was bit tricky to find the entrance from the main road. We were in a taxi, could not see anywhere you might have parked a car.

Ich habe mich zu jederzeit sehr wohlgefühlt.

Das gesamte Personal war jederzeit super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als das WLAN für mein Homeoffice nicht funktionierte, habe ich sogar einen eigenen Router bekommen, damit ich weiterarbeiten konnte. Ich habe die abendliche Ruhe im Restaurant sehr genossen. Das Essen war ausnahmslos gut, den Thunfisch beim BBQ sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. An meinem letzten Abend bekam ich eine Einladung zu einem kostenlosen 3-Gänge-Menu, das war super lieb. Das Schnorcheln direkt am Strand hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich konnte viele Schildkröten beobachten, sogar die abendliche Eiablage einer großen Meeresschildkröte durfte ich miterleben.

Der Strandabschnitt ist stark von Touristen besucht, die von "außerhalb" kommen, dadurch ist oft sehr viel los. Zum Glück waren die Meisten am späten Nachmittag wieder weg, so dass ich abends die Ruhe im Restaurant genießen konnte.

Once in a lifetime experience.

We loved everything about this property. As a family of 2 adults 2 kids, like everyone else we wanted to see turtles. Our flight arrived in Colombo at 5am and Turtle Bay Beach Resort organised an airport pickup for us straight to them. When we arrived at 8am to the resort we met all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. As our Deluxe triple room would not be ready until 11.30 they gave us another room to change into so we could get straight onto the beach for the day and from then our holiday began. My sons birthday was the next day and they had balloons hanging from the beams and the most amazing and delicious football cake with candles all ready to surprise my football crazy son. It really all felt like home from home. Room was massive, overlooking beach. Waves crashing to help you sleep and the staff and seeing turtles definitely made this visit one of the best experiences we have ever had as a family. The chef was amazing cooking anything we asked for and my daughter got to catch all the hermit crabs which is all she ever wants to do, we fed the squirrels, and even tried fishing. An unbelievable experience throughout. Huge shout out to Dylan and the chef and the rest of staff for a fantastic stay. We will definitely come back to visit you all again.

Beautiful location on the beach. We got an upgraded to the deluxe room which was very nice! Snorkeling gear was included. We can totally recommend for some nice days in Mirissa. Everything in walking distance.

Best kitchen in Srí Lanka, we taste. Srí Lanka breakfast is TOP! Hotel is on the beautifu beach. Looks likes paradise. You can swim with turtles right in front of hotel. Sunbeds and snorchling equipment free. Personal is nice and helpful. Higly recommended.

Amazing!

We had an amazing stay!!! The food was exceptional and the stuff (especially Sameer) very friendly and helpful. The location is top you can see turtles, katamaran fishing boats, stilt fishermen and the beach on your doorstep is amazing and with not too big waves. They organized for us transportation to Tangalle with an amazing driver Asanka!

Lovely breakfast

The breakfast was the best one I had in sri lanka . It kept coming and coming and was lovely. The staff were also very helpful and offering guides or where to go and how to get there.

You can really swim with turtles here :)

Beautiful place with really nice beach , owner welcomed us with welcome drink after travel in the hot weather and was exactly what was needed :) also showed us the baby turtles we had an opportunity to release in the sea later , food was amazing and the best fish I ever had which was caught the same evening , really good location and good place to be with family , alone or as couple :)

Amazing place with amazing staff. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing stay! Just next to the private beach with view on famous coconut hill and few minutes from parrot rock. Turtle bay it is not just A name daily snorkling with sea turtles and there were even turtle nesting on the beach! Sea view specious room with great balcony with waves sound which helped you sleep. Morning and evening fishermans by the bay which made the view even more special. Fantastic staff, were friendly, helpful and warm, we felt after few days like we are part of the family and it was hard to say goodbye. Amazing Food starting from breakfast to great fresh positions in the menu- we tried many things from lobsters, shrimps, fresh fish, burgers all were 5 stars! Thank you to the owner and all the staff if was an amazing stay in Mirissa. Defenetly to recommend and hope we will be Back there soon!

Passable

We asked for a taxi when we checked out of the hotel. We were going to Galle. He took 11 from us for the road which was 5 thousand rupees. We didn't know the taxi prices as it was our first experience. Do not use the taxi attached to the hotel.

I liked everything here: 1) host Dilan and his team, they were so much helpful and ensured perfect atmosphere for our short stay in Mirissa 2) food- delicious with very reasonable prices, comparing to other restaurants and hotels nearby 3) rooms are clean and cozy 4) wonderful atmosphere still and calm 5) place is hidden so during our stay it was not super crowded 6)beach- great sandy beach with coral rif nearby

The location is just amazing. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the restaurant/bar is super beautiful. Loved the puppies. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The juice there is super delicious.

The rooms are quite simple and our room was infested with mosquitoes. I’m not lying, we had more than 60 mosquitoes (I know the number, since I spent half an hour killing them and counting). The staff helped us then.

Wonderful location to chill and relax.

right on the beach. Food was incredible. Best chef and food I have had so far. Can highly recommend Sujee’s food. Sudharma as a host is wonderful. Welcoming and friendly and hospitable. Great place to stay. It is basic but what more do you need.

Would love to have a kettle in the room and tea and coffee available.

Very good hotel and restaurant , so nice personal, lot of care and helping from them , so amazing place for swim , for children safety, beach is the best in Mirissa. Food they cooking very delicious , we like all. Owner is very kind person. I reccomend this lovely place for staying in Sri lanka !

we will never, ever come back to this hotel.

The Bathroom had mold on the walls. the taps were dirty and it did not have trash can in the bathroom nor in the room. The small fridge was noisy and it did not work. The room has cables on the ceiling and it looked like they hadn’t installed the lights. To make things worse, my wife woke up in the middle of the night with a cockroach on her arm. When we complained they only made a 10 per cent of discount. When we booked the room the photos shown did not resemble the room they offered at all. We were very disappointed and we do not recommend this hotel at all. it did not meet our expectations.

Good place to stay in

The location was great, friendly people and nice service.

The day we came the room was clean and cozy. As we were staying for 3 days room was getting messed up with sand we took in with our feet and it would be great of they did cleaning every day.

Location was amazing, private beach with short walk up to coconut hill. Chef kokkilo was in his element whipped up some excellent dishes for our stay. Staff went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Sadeem the host was amazing. Would definitely visit again

Breakfast was good but not consistent. Right on a gorgeous beach. Good Aircon.

Sandy floors when we arrived. The check in was quite rushed and blunt. The rooms are small and the extra 3rd bed is annoying for 2 people.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast overlooking the sea is divine and it changes every morning. Rooms are really clean and spacious, it’s fantastic to sleep with the sound of waves. The position is very good because it’s located on the turtle bay and it’s not crowded as Mirissa, here you can fully relax.
