This architect designed home is perched nearly at the tree tops in the pine forest next to the sand dune. It is on a large lot with no homes between it and the Gulf of Mexico. Almost straight back from the water tower, it is centrally located and an easy bike ride to most of the island. The home is extremely private --our FedEx driver indicated he's been delivering packages on the island for years and didn't even know this house was there! The beach is accessible by car in 5 minutes, by bike in 10 minutes, or by walking in 15 minutes. Ground level is open (house is on pilings) with a lounge area accented by café lighting, an area to grill, and a fenced area where four bikes are stored and available for your use. There is also a lounge area where you can hang the hammock and relax. There is a fish cleaning station and additional faucets for rinsing the sand off your feet. The first level is mostly carpeted and contains the master and guests bedrooms. Both bedrooms have on suite full bathrooms and plenty of closet space. The master bedroom contains a king bed, 40" smart TV, and has a slider door to a screened in porch with two day beds, chairs, and tables. The guest bedroom contains a queen bed, 28" smart TV, and has a slider door to an open porch with two chairs and a table. Laundry facilities are also located on this floor along with a day bed under the stairway to the second level. The second level is one open great room with high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, fans, and maple hard-wood floors. This level contains a half-bathroom, full kitchen, dining room table seating six, and a living area with large sofa, chairs, a day bed and 55" smart TV. On the opposite end from the kitchen, there is a slider door to an open deck where you can see through the trees and over the sand dune to the gulf. The deck has a propane fire pit and four patio chairs.
