The room was beautiful and spacious. No-one on reception on Mondays.

It was continental breakfast, not buffet style but enough. The croissants were nice.

There was not much choice, maybe because it was Monday. The option of an egg might have been nice.

We came to Kent for a friends birthday and managed to find this hotel last minute. It was reasonably priced and located

The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. They offered to help carry our bags and showed us to our room. Continental breakfast was included in our price. It included some vegan/vegetarian options which was convenient. There is also a spacious garden space to enjoy drinks at the property.

The shower in our room (2) smelt like pee which indicated it hadn’t been cleaned well since the previous guests stay. TV remote and coffee desk were covered in dust and some dirt.

After an unfortunate start we ended up in a lovely room with excellent service.

We ended up in a beautiful room after an unexpected incident in the original room ! The new room was lovely!

The original room wasn’t very nice. Very small , view of a block of flats!

Stay tn pretty central place in Ramsgate

Quiet place, ever though it is close to the road. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast was a bit sparse- even for a continental. They somehow lost our evening reservation in the space of about 4 hours. However, there was just 1 table left when we came down from the room, so we took that.

Bad business situation

Nice people there.Heating working OK.

Small old smelling room.Fireplace cooling pretty well and make noise when windy.Windows tremble and sounds when windy,cant sleep. Tiny upstairs so you difficult carry luggage. Breakfast is toasted bread,butter,jam and a croissant plus a coffe and juice.its ok but for 126 pounds could be better

Lovely place. Now painted blue. Staff lovely and rooms spacious. Nice touches bottled water, tea, coffee, individual milks and biscuits in room.

Quirky rooms, comfortable beds and excellent location.

Breakfast was a bit too much starch. Fresh fruit and yoghurt would have been good. There was tinned fruit and yoghurt one day but not the next day.

The hotel was conveniently located for both the local beach and town centre, but in a quiet area.

The continental breakfast was good and filling. The room was clean and tidy and the hotel historic character was delightful

McDonald’s drinks lid left in the room when we arrived which would indicate the room wasn’t cleaned properly. However, the room was spotless so I assume it may have fallen out of the bag before the cleaners left.

Quaint and cosy.

Simple and fresh continental breakfast. Clean bathroom and comfy beds.

The pillows in the bedroom were too soft and difficult to sleep. Neighbours next door having very loud sex at strange times of the day + night.

Great place to stay . Shame about the cleaning regime.

Nice quiet location in a beautiful old property with super friendly staff . The homemade granola for breakfast was sensational, plus the best ever Americano coffee in Ramsgate.

Unfortunately our room was not prepared and cleaned properly. Even after we complained after our first nights stay the issue was not resolved. We received two bottles of water and a cooked breakfast in compensation?

Great location, friendly staff, comfy beds, good shower.

Lovely clean room and public areas. Large bathroom with excellent walk in shower. Comfortable room, with furniture chosen to suit the age of the property. Car parking available nearby (chargeable), or on street.

There was no wardrobe in the room, and only one peg on the wall with 2 clothes hangers. Staff provided extra hangers on request, but when staying anywhere for more than one night, guests should be provided with hanging space as well as drawers. Breakfast was a little disappointing - cooked options are only available Weds - Sunday, so guests staying Sunday/Monday night are restricted to the simple continental breakfast. This is not clear when booking.

This is a charming little hotel in a great location and offers good value for money

The only negative is the breakfast. Very basic but they do offer more substantial offerings for an extra charge. They also charge for parking which you need to factor into the cost. These are small issues though as overall I thought it was good value for money.
