Location was ideal for us.Breakfast was fine cooked lovely,could improve on the sausage,service was just right,the property was situated in a very quiet area and with easy walking distance to the pub,with yet again very friendly staff,food was good too.

You didn’t state when we booked that if you wanted a cooked breakfast you had to pay extra. You should make this very clear when you take the booking. Next time we will book direct with the owners, who were really nice

located in a beautiful village, clean, comfortable and lovely owners. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and delicious.

The most beautiful garden where I could have a cuppa and enjoying the tranquility. Absolutely gorgeous! Everything else was great, great room with everything you needed and the hosts were so attentive! Offered us packages with brochures of things we could do around as it was our first time visiting Hickling and the surrounding areas. So warm and welcoming! Yummy breakfast too!

Ian and Lynn were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The accommodation was lovely with nice little touches. The location is perfect for visiting the area. We will definitely be back and would like to thank them for making our stay so lovely.

Beautiful gardens

Could do with curtains aswell as the blind in the bedroom, although blackout it didn't quite meet the edge of the window and was very bright early in the morning.

Lovely accommodation in a pretty village. The rooms were beautifully furnished, clean, and equipped with everything you could want. Lyn and Ian were very welcoming and helpful - and they gave us a delicious breakfast!

The hosts are definitely the highlight here, chatting with my young son and advised on local attractions and restaurants. The Stables is well designed and ideal for family use. Tasty breakfast Relaxed environment

Unfortunately there were a few minors, but nothing major! The owners have dogs which made my sons day as he loves them... all good, except for the dog mess on the grass garden area. Nettles next to the car parking area resulted in stings on my son Room was fairly clean but not immaculate Beds felt like the mattresses are possibly due for an update

Breakfast was great. Fresh fruit. Good choice off yoghurt. Scrambled egg and salmon 😋. Owners very friendly.
