location was amazing! staff was incredible. room had everything we needed.

the only thing to be improved was the drain for shower in the room. but the daily housekeeping made up for it.

The room was good ,location is good , market and bakery close. Staff is kind. The pool is so good, clean.

The street noise is insane and there is no hair dryer in the bathroom and there is no key to the bathroom.

The breakfast wasn’t good. Orange juice was tang, not fresh juice. Bread seemed stale sometimes, and because we got in earlier due to early flight arrival, he charged my kids breakfast they ate while we waited for the room to be ready. The bathroom drain backed up and overflowed each time we took a shower, and there were five of us. We told him and he seemed to be aware of the problem. Anyway, the price was probably right for what we got. The staff is friendly and nice.

Everything. The pool always looked after, the rooms super clean, the staff five stars. It was our second home. Close to everything. Beach, transport, pastry 24h, super market. It's all good.

The Internet after 8:00 p.m. It was very difficult.

Good location 5 mins from the beach, lovely friendly staff who are very helpful and a great value for money spot in Perissa.

Excellent hotel. Great value for money! Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Room got cleaned every single day and bed was surprisingly comfy.

The shower wasn’t on the wall but it wasn’t a problem at all. Great water pressure.

Pool

The owner was kind and courteous. The property location is 900m from the beach. There is a big supermarket and bakery nearby.

WiFi could be better in rooms.

The breakfast was amazing, great food and great service. The room was clean and comfortable, lovely hot shower. The pool was clean and ready for use. This is our 3rd stay at Petra Nera, it won't be our last. The location is perfect, a bakery directly opposite and only a 5 minute stroll to the beach and great restaurants. Highly recommended

The only good thing about this property would be the pool area. The rooms are really unfit to receive guests, the towels were grey, rough and looked like a cloth you use for cleaning. Sheets were paper thin. For the 150 euros paid for 3 nights you would expect at least some decent towels. The bathrooms, in both room 5 an 1 were in extremely poor condition. There was a soiled fabric shower curtain, really unhygienic, the shower was flooding, so impossible to shower as the water was flooding at your feet. The balcony in room 5, had a generous size, but was overlooking the crowded noisy road ,full of cars, trucks and traffic noise. When I arrived I overwhelmed of the state of the room, so I politely requested for a different room, possible with mountain view, but all rooms were booked. I was told room no 1 , a better quieter room will be available starting with the next morning and agreed to shift room the next day. On 22 nd I packed my bag and went downstairs , only to discover room 1 was in a worse condition. Small dark room, with a tiny balcony with an AC unit occupying the floor, balcony facing ground floor and a service entrance with lots of traffic I took photos of room amenities and willing to share them with you). As I had a trip scheduled, and there was no time and even if there was, no rooms were available, I went for a daily trip but when returned in the evening only to discover shower was flooding even more, there was only 1 plug in the room, that did not function as I could not charge my phone or any of my devices. In the first room( no 5 ) plug was working fine. At around 3 a.m heavy noise/ pipes/banging started and continued till morning. It sounded like someone was doing laundry, like the spinning rotation of multiple washing machines. I could not have at at all a proper rest, I barely slept one hour. I decided not to put myself through agony so next morning I checked out and went to a nearby hotel.

Bathrooms need to be repaired. It’s insanitary to try to shower when all the water is gathering at your feet. While in the rooms, you can hear everytime a faucet is open, water is flowing at any of the flats nearby, up and down. Towels were a rough grey cloth. I’ve never thought a hotel or guesthouse would keep offering such worn out towels to their guests. Breakfast was serving diluted flavored water ( red and orange),some stale cornflakes and cereals, not even one fresh piece of fruit or vegetable. The food seemed and tasted poor and low quality. I only had it in the first morning

The property was on the Main Street, and although I didn’t travel in peak season; it was surprisingly quiet in terms of road noise. Opposite is a big supermarket. Very cosy effective. And you are ten minutes walk from the beach and beachfront restaurants. Try the pizza place at the end of the promenade called Sirocco. And a restaurant called Noma too. The latter is classy and on the beach front. The former is beautifully Greek Italian. Both have wonderful pizzas and pasta. Also you could climb up to ancient Fira. A bit of a mountain trek but well worth it. And the beach walks from one end to the other. I averaged around 14000 steps each day. Anyone wanting to go into the capital or anywhere else on the island; the hotel is right on the bus route with stops a few minutes walk away.

Breakfast was basic. But wholesome. No toasted bread and a better selection of cereals like hoops would have been nicer. I would improve on the breakfast a little with fresh fruit for example. Nonetheless, the owners were fabulous. And it was an exceptionally competitive price. Well done to the team. And thank you Petra Nera. 🙏🙏🙏

The breakfast was amazing. They cleaned the room frequently and the swimming pool was nice, we have it almost just for us. You can rent a buggy and the parking in the hotel is free. They give you as much towels as you need. The owner is really kind! We felt very good in the hotel.

It’s far from the center but there is a beach in Perdida which is very very beautiful. One of the best beaches in Santorini
