A stunning location and wonderful staff. It looked like there were some great rooms
We did not like our room. Our bed was up very steep dangerous steps that I nearly fell down at night and struggled getting there having just had a hip replacement

This property has beautiful views and is extremely well kept. It is a quiet escape from the crowds in the summer
The property only operated the air conditioning from 5:30 pm and then shut it off at 7:30 am every morning. They didn’t even make an exception to the fact that the country is experiencing a terrible heat wave. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable in the room during the hottest hours of the day, and we felt like we had to be out elsewhere just to stay cool.
We were expected to bring out our own trash, up and down more stairs. I didn’t care for that after climbing 200 steps multiple times just to get to my room.
Unfortunately the bathroom also had some black mold on the ceiling above the shower due to the lack of windows and ventilation.

Op de dag van uit checken zou om 9.00 uur de receptie open zijn. Wij vetrokken om half tien maar er was niemand. Sleutel daarom ingeleverd bij het restaurant. Niet echt klantvriendelijk om niet even te informeren hoe het verblijf was geweest. @booking.com: de prijzen als je rechtstreeks boekt zijn stukken lager dan op jullie site. De reactie vanuit booking.com was nietszeggend.

Spectacular view!
Way too small for 4 adults and 2 children! One bedroom was actually in the kitchen-dining, so it is not private at all and there is no area to eat except outside. I was disapointed. The bathrom was an ensuite with the main bedroom. It would have been ok as an apartment for one couple only. The beds were very hard and not great quality. The last night we stayed there, they made us move to another apartment, saying that the email I sent to book an extra night was not 'official' although they had replied with 'ok and noted'. Also, it is far from the villages and you must be ready to travel by bus, which were often overcrowded during our stay (early september).

view was excellent. Bus transport met expectations. Information on booking.com was poor: we expected a towel change, and there was no aircondiotioning (only in july/august). The 200 stairs to reach our appartment were not mentioned on booking.com.

Fabulous grounds, apartment was lovely and clean and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The location was quite far from riomaggiore, on weekdays before June the buses are very infrequent but there are taxis available for 20euro to the centre of riomaggiore. This would not be as much of a problem in the high season when buses are more frequent.

absolutely incredible views and super peaceful location; beautiful stairwell along the cliffs leading to the apartments and a super fun but intense hike all the way down the cliff to the water
we were woken up each morning by knocking on our apartment door around 8 or so… not sure what that was about but we just ignored it and eventually they would leave. it is a bit musty in the apartment but honestly we didn’t spend so much time inside and it perfectly suited our needs so that’s a very small issue

The view from the property was gorgeous! Each morning we had coffee and croissants, it was lovely. The sun set was equally enchanting!
Clean towels and toilet paper were not replenished. Because of the proximity to the sea, towels remained damp. After a few days, they were quite musty.

The views are exceptional - breathtaking . photos cannot do it justice .
You are we'll warned about the steps and the challenges of getting up and to riomaggiore by the shuttle . However the present owners really don't appear to enjoy hospitality . It can be impossible to get food or any type of refreshment depending on how they feel that evening. It's such a pity because this place has the potential to be exceptional .

I loved the room and the view is amazing! however the shower is very tiny if you are a big person good luck
very clean also. there is a restaurant there the food is nice but the portions are very small, it is something I noticed in Liguria at the restaurant, I am italian in my region our portions are bigger, I am a skinny person I do not eat a lot but the portions in Liguria are extremelly small, and the restaurant is a bit expensive so I will not be back in LIguria sorry however I will give a 10 to the hotel! thanks for everything

-the room is very clean and bed is comfy
-the garden is spectacular, lots of plants and flowers all the way down the hill

The view is literally breathtaking and any picture will not do it justice. Pack a smaller bag with only what you need for your stay…..the rooms are 200 steps down, so what ever you lug down has to be lugged back up again.
They have a restaurant at the top which is nice to have after a long day out…..make sure you are back before sundown….with a view like that you don’t want to miss the sunset. If you take along some drinks you can enjoy them from your personal deck.
Take some insect repellent in the summer times….if a breeze is blowing then the mosquitoes are not really a problem. We did not have any during our stay.
The aircons are old and need to be serviced. Our worked but did not cool at all….in fact it was cooler outside than in…..I was very disappointed that the room was very stuffy and could not sleep properly.

Nice apartment with the best view over the ocean. staff really friendly and a good restaurant. apartment had everything needed: air con, small equipped kitchen and terasse with view. a real gem on earth once you get there and get away from all the tourists of cinque terre. I recommend staying here for a few days and rest and enjoy the beautiful hikes and nature in the area (if weather allows for hiking).
Wi-Fi was quiet bad and because it was so high up the connection was bad in general. also it is NOT within walking distance of Riomaggiore. it is only possible to reach borgo di campi by car or bus, which is manageable but also a bit inconvenient.

beautiful views and the restaurant and restaurant staff was amazing.
we reserved an apartment with one queen bed and two sofa beds. when we arrived we had two double beds. when traveling with two high schoolers this was not ideal. when I went to the check with staff they said there was nothing she could do and I was mistaken. I had screen shots of the apartment descriptions in my pdf confirmation. this made our whole stay very uncomfortable.
