It was well located for what I needed, spacious house, off street parking, good views, TV was fine... they kindly let me check out a lot later as I had a late flight, extra point for that!

It was tricky to find as it's tucked away down a narrow driveway and the house layout is certainly unconventional. I thought there was a flat next door but it turned out to be the 2nd bedroom. Tumble dryer was locked away in the spaces underneath the house.

The location & views

The one & only issue we had was the water pressure in the showers was pretty bad. If anyone touches a tap when you’re in the shower, the shower is just a dribble.

The location was great because it was right on the waterfront with amazing views. access to the property is good as there are two entrances One access for our boat trailer parking was fine for manoeuvring the boat trailer in and out presenting no problems at low tide. The house was presented to us very clean with a retro theme which was lovely.

Even though there were extra towels and linen it would have been nice to have had the option of bed change and such during our 7 night stay .

The house itself is beautiful and the location is perfect.

We have two very young children and were not told that the sea view room is a separate entrance to the property, having to go outside to get to it. When I brought this up with the host and stated that we are unable to fully use the home due to safety concerns leaving young children in the house, we did not feel we had an adequate response or attempt to compensate. I very rarely give a bad review and it is a shame as the house itself is lovely but I felt that the layout was not conveyed clearly.

I liked the little details. Like the fact that the kitchen has oil, salt and pepper. You could cook a proper meal and everything you needed was provided.

The toilet and bathroom were a tad small but didn't effect the enjoyment of our stay.
