A quiet and beautiful resort with good facilities nestled next to a lake.

The room was pleasant and clean and with comfortable beds. The location to the very helpful neighbouring ski-hire shop was brilliant. There's a small weightlifting room, and a drying room where you can place your skis overnight. Next to reception was a cosy area with a wood burning fireplace. Staff were very helpful but reserved. It is possible to access cross-country skiing routes and one of the lifts directly from the hotel. There is an excellent historic museum in town with a fascinating outdoor section showing how houses were constructed in the old days. Buses run a few times a day to Ramundberget which is much more touristy, but the only place where you can have ski lessons. There is a super craft shop nearby where you can buy good quality Swedish designed gifts to take home.

Whilst the view from the restaurant over the lake is wonderful, the menu was very limited. They really need two more dishes for people staying longer as we did. It was also very cold in the dining area - wear a chunky jumper! It's possible to buy food from the supermarketer and the hotel offers a tiny kitchen with microwave where you can prepare something simple. The weight lifting room could benefit from some lower weights - nowadays, women lift weights too! I thought the cost of the room was too high by comparison to other places we have stayed in Sweden.

Nice, tidy, clean room, comfortable beds and good quality linen.

The breakfast was correct. Little choice. Powdered scrambled eggs, so-so bread. No kettle in the room so I asked to make coffee in a thermos, for which I had to pay 50 crowns. Slight exaggeration.

Very nice bed, good coffee and delicious breakfast! They have oat milk 💚

Water in the room was not hot, it was okay warm but after skiing we were looking forward to a hot shower.

All over very Nice place and good Staff, coming back next year

A littlebit more to choose from at breakfast would be Nice, but not a big thing. And to have later breakfast then 09.30 in the weekends would be perfect. Otherwise all over good, clean and friendly Staff. No problem staying here again. 👍👍👍

Nature: A spa for body and soul

It was a great week, we had fun exploring the many different XC ski trails, my wife liked your pool.

I really liked the breakfast, but I missed potatoes...

The room we got when we first arrived was too small for all of our stuff, but we were able to upgrade to a bigger room. So, the "didn't like" turned into a "like". The room could of had more places to hang damp things... Thanks for helping us have a very nice vacation.

Great value for money, will come again.

The fact a hotel in this price range has a cool pool and such a great restaurant put this hotel on the map for me for future visits. The food we served there in the evenings was great and the pool offered the perfect relief for days out in the cold, either on the slopes or on snowmobiles.

The room we had was too small for a double bed, barely enough space for two people to move around at the same time. Hotels should take into consideration having retractable beds so guests can gain more space during day time.
