Stayed here for a month. The staff were so friendly and helpful! I had a good spacious room with an ensuite. Great location right opposite the beach. Really nice pool!

Such a great place - great staff, bedding changed weekly, Mustapha was super helpful with currency exchanges, and a beautiful cape point beach a 2 minute walk away. Bikes available for rent. A reliable generator. Felt very safe and secure. Pool was great ti have on the very hot days.
No aircon, however the fans were actually very good so didn’t actually need it

This guesthouse is very cozy and well decorated with both Swedish and African furniture. The pool is amaaazing. The staff super kind and caring. Both at day and nighttime.
Also the kitchen is very well equiped and has a blender. Soap is readily available in the bathrooms and kitchen and at the poolshower. :)
I would have like a night lamp near the bed.

Spacious room, decent WiFi. Hot water and fridge in room. Kettle and coffee provided. Friendly staff and nice pool to have a swim if you please. Couple minutes walk to the beach. Decent place in Bakau. Has a really delicious Indian restaurant a minute walk away.
Room coulda been a bit cleaner/updated. You can’t walk out of the property without being hounded and followed by touts and ‘tour guides’ wanting to show you around. Although everyone is super friendly, they won’t let you just enjoy the time alone. You basically gain an unsolicited Friend/guide that’ll eventually ask you for money for spending the day with you lol

It was nice that there was a mosquito net for sleeping and a fan in the room. The towels were nice too. It was a short walk to the beach which was great. The wifi connection was great and made it easy to watch videos. Plus it was a 10 minute walk to the craft market, which is where one can catch the shared mini van that costs just 10 dalasi to go to Westfield.
The room had a bit of mold in it and the overall look of the walls in the room was not good. The refrigerator in the room stunk, so I didn't even want to use it. The shared bathroom door didn't close properly and the rule for the use 2-3cups of water to flush the pee confused whoever was sharing the toilet and probably thought the flush didn't work and it was quite gross to see the leftover poop in the toilet. Also the power seemed to go off in the area quite often at night.

It is a good place. Nice workers. Beautiful garden.
The furnitures were a little bit too old. The windows were opened so the mosquitos could pass inside. The bathroom was a bit dirty.

The attention and professionalism of the staff.
Their prompt to do it responses covered for whatever was lacking or could have been better.

The house is situated in a calm area, the people were friendly and tried their best to help me with changing money and finding a taxi.
It is a run-down house with a swimming-pool without water. The furniture in the room was very old and partly broken, there was no hot water in the showers. The concept is that you can cook your food yourself in the kitchen, just, there is no supermarket around where you can acutally buy a bigger choice of groceries. The moskito net was a whipstiched curtain. There were young gambian men and women hanging around in the house, the kitchen and the garden who were no staff of the guesthouse but somehow "friends". I was picked up from the airport and driven into town by "friends" of the receptionist who greatly overcharged me. I felt unsafe and left after the first night without asking my money back for the next night which I had already paied. The shady atmosphere with the elderly european gentlemen and the young gambian women, spending time in their rooms/chatting/etc. was uncomfortable to me. Not recommended for female travellers on business trips.

I was in many places in my life, of course in Gambia is not this kind of life, but if compared with happiness of life its the best. People are poor, but in hearts are great. Place of Hotel stay in very good area. I got in my heart peace, happiness. I wish for everyone to sometimes change a comfort of life to understand how is precious every day of our life. Thank you very much for everybody from this Hotel, all personal was great. I will be very happy to come again.
Of course all changes come from possibilities, if owner can have this possibility, make repairs, even cosmetic ones. Above, I talked about repairs, I want to pay attention to the store next to the hotel, let them pay attention to the quality of products, especially eggs, everything is stored without a refrigerator and almost everything is spoiled, because of them I got a problem with the intestines, it's good that I I took my medicines with me.

The stay was very pleasant, especially the pool, which was cleaned every day.
Too small a mosquito net did not provide sufficient protection against mosquitoes.

The staff and management were very welcoming...like family! It was great mingling with the guests and nearby neighbors
It would've been nice to have a breakfast menu with a few options.

Good location close to beach and some nice bars . An added bonus is the use of a kitchen. The garden area is lovely, and the small pool is great for cooling off .

All the staff were lovely, helpful and polite. Wifi facility was okay.
The accommodation was grubby and needed a good overall clean. No blinds at the bathroom window - no privacy.

They offer a basic breakfast and the service is amazing. You can request any breakfast you like and the manager Mustapha will do his best to arrange this for you.
Nothing the whole trip was amazing. All the staff are the best so friendly and kind. Truly a great guesthouse.

Worker’s are friendly and the location is good. But it’s not what I expected
It would have been better if the can clean the rooms very good and get the better kitchen

We loved the location and the touches of ecological design. We appreciated having the staff explain the project and show us some craftwork. The igloo shaped room was really cool! Thank you to the staff.
It could have been better if the staff offered a shuttle service and/or explain you cannot get there in a taxi when the rain blocks the road. We thought the food could have been better (also maybe vegetarian options to match the project?).
