An Amalfi gem right in the heart of the town

- Andrea and his father were the BEST hosts (went above and beyond constantly) - The location of this property cannot be beaten (it is right in the middle of Amalfi and a stones throw from the cathedral/beaches/restaurants/bars etc.) - The room itself is large, authentic and even had a kitchen area

A great place to stay in the centre of town.

Perfect location right in the centre of Amalfi. Even though the apartment was right in the centre of the tourist area, it was very quiet. Andrea was very helpful. He met us at the bus stop and offered many suggestions of things to do and places to eat.

Pleasant but there is room for improvement!

The host was super friendly and helpful even if our bus was late and we arrived later than previously expected. His dad came pick us up from the bus station and walked us to the accommodation to make sure we were provided with all the info needed. The location of the house is great because it is central and very close to the main road of Amalfi, restaurants, bars, as well as the bus stops and ferry station.

The room faces an internal porch which is the access to the property for all the rooms of the house. Although it is relatively quiet because it does not face the busy street, there is a light that turns on every time somebody walks into the porch and the curtains in the room do not block the light properly, therefore we woke up every time somebody made the light turn on. We would recommend do something about this to make the stay more pleasant. The room could do with some renovation work given the value for the location!

Such a lovely host! Helped meet us to get to the location, super friendly with great recommendations. The room was very clean and great to stay for two people. Great location, legit five minutes away from the beach. Would definitely recommend!!

Great location, upper end of the main road, close to everything but less crowded. Andrea is a great host, friendly and helpful, gave us many valuable advices (on travel, places to visit and eat). The breakfast and coffee at the flat was a bonus.

- fantastic location - at the main pedestrian street; 5 min walk to the seaside - well isolating windows - after closing them room became quite silent and it was easy to relax inspite of being in the touristic center of Amalfi - super friendly and helpful host

A week in Amalfi

Andrea was super helpful with everything. The location of the apartment is perfect for staying in Amalfi - very close to wonderful restaurants and pizzerias... Just perfect.

Very helpful host - met us at the bus station on arrival. The accommodation is well presented and clean, and is accessed via a set of stairs up 2 floors from the main street. It is very centrally located and everything is only a short walk away e.g. the main square & Duomo, main bus stop, Paper Mill museum etc. The accommodation comprises a bedroom, a small separate kitchenette with washing machine, and bathroom. Space-saving tricks are used in the kitchenette cabinet to make it as usable as possible. The inclusion of a small (~3kg) washing machine & drying rack is very useful for travelers on longer holidays. There is a coffee machine provided in the common corridor joining the apartments.

We stayed in the last week of March when the weather is still fairly cold. The bedroom has air-conditioning, and there are doors between each of the rooms to assist with temperature control. Nevertheless, the air-conditioning really had to work hard to provide an acceptable temperature in the bedroom. The bedroom floor was extremely cold to touch, so the addition of some floor mats would help. Also, we recommend removal of the old-style desk & drawers, and replacing it by a more space-efficient and functional table that can be used as a breakfast/meal table for two, along with 2 space-efficient chairs. At this time of year, the bathroom ventilation was not sufficient and towels, floor etc did not dry out during the day. We suggest e.g. installing a heated towel rack.

We will be back!

Andrea was so helpful, traffic was a nightmare and he guided us through town and booked our parking for us. He recommended a restaurant for lunch that was one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy. The room was great, very comfortable and the security was top notch. Location couldn’t be better, central to town and walking distance to everything.

I had a perfect stay.

A perfect location in Amalfi. Right on the street running right thru Amalfi, and all quiet before 11pm. The rooms was clean with many amenities, kitchen area and laundry machine.

Superb

Andrea's house is on main street. Restaurants and shops are at doorstep. You'd think that staying on main the street can be a bit noisy but it isn't at all. Love this place and would definitely recommend it.

It is very minor one! If you're coming with a car, ask for very detail instructions how to check-in. Amalfi isn't build for cars and is very difficult to drive. Thanks to Andrea's patience I got checked-in but it was rather stressful to be honest.

Amazing place for an affordable price.

Location was really good. Right in the middle of Amalfi, close to everything and near the beach. All amenities needed included a small kitchen.

I have nothing to complain. Apartment is great and has everything you may need in your staying.

The location is amazing, right on the main street of Amalfi, but still very quiet. The room has everything you need! Andrea has been very helpful, helping to get to Amalfi with a lot of information and making sure we have the best time in this beautiful village. I can only recommend this place 👌

Perfect location & stay

The property is above the main pedestrian street in Amalfi town and is therefore an excellent location for somebody without a car as is under a 5 min walk to all amenities and the bus station. The room was clean and the apartment contained everything we needed, with the host easily contactable and very helpful.
