Villa Sara is situated on a hilltop in Panzano, in the heart of the Chianti Classico premium wine region. Exterior Description The "farmhouse" farmhouse is built in a traditional country Tuscan style with white-washed stone walls, wood beamed ceilings, and terracotta tiled floors. The original farm dates back to the eleventh century. The villa is a gracious vineyard residence with modern comforts. The summer has been frequently featured on posters, postcards and paintings. There are multiple private terraces, each with its own unique view of the Chianti hills. Off the kitchen is a large terrace, with a built-in gas barbeque and a large umbrella. On the opposite side of the house, another large terrace, which is partially covered and has a table with seating for 10. In the pool area there are 10 lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and a pergola with an additional table and seating. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of May. It is 15 m long and tiled in marble. The entire pool area is private. There is a private parking area with spaces for 4-5 cars. Interior Description Ground Floor: the ground floor has three rooms. There is a desk, ceiling fan, and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. This room has its own small private patio. Second Level (up 6 steps): 6 steps leading to a large living room. This room is furnished with 4 couches, a satellite TV, bookcase filled with books and a ceiling fan. This room looks out to the backyard. Third Level (up 4 steps): Off the living room are two sets of 4 steps: can be accessed. The 2nd bedroom has a large queen-size bed (170 cm), which can be made into twin-beds upon request. As this bedroom has only one window, it has been outfitted with a ceiling fan and air conditioner. This room looks onto the vineyards and main patio area. The second set of 4 steps leads to small rooms. The third bedroom, the only small bedroom, has two twin-beds, a ceiling fan and offers multiple views. The bathroom, shared between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, has a sink, a toilet, and both a bathtub and shower. Fourth Level: Off the hallway on the 3rd level is another set of 5 steps which lead to the 4th bedroom. This is a spacious bedroom with a large queen-size bed (170 cm) which can be made into two twins upon request. This room also has a couch, desk, ceiling fan, dressing room and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. The 5th bedroom can be either through the previous bedroom or through its private balcony. This bedroom has a small queen-size bed (155 cm) with a large ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. The thick stone walls ensure that the villa remains comfortably cool in the summer, each bedroom is outfitted with a ceiling fan ideal for use in the hottest months.
