Our experience is that the hotel is very clean and comfortable. It was the end of the season and the staff were probably quite tired after helping guests all summer but they were friendly and helpful. The pool was spotless, the breakfast selection was great and the food delicious and fresh. The room was a great size and temperature with a reasonable view of the sea. The walk to the beach was only a couple of minutes and the beach was clean with loungers put out by the hotel with a snack bar, changing area and toilet. The hotel is clearly expanding with even nicer facilities and we will be back next summer to enjoy them. We also liked our visit to Shabo winery. It was about a 40 minute bus ride but the tour of the winery was world-class. We indulged in the wine tasting and it is truly wonderful wine. We took public transit. I would suggest asking the staff at the hotel if they could arrange transport as our trip back was a bit late in the afternoon and turned into a bit of an adventure. I'm sure the staff know a better way to travel.

Getting to the hotel is a bit challenging and they should have more information about getting to them. We took public transit from Odessa. After some searching we found a safe, "official" bus which got us close(ish) to the hotel but there was about a 20 minute walk down a long hill and across some train tracks to get there. I'm sure driving is much easier, but a number of guests had taken public transit like us and had a similar experience with their walk. Once you know the route, it is fine. First time visitors carrying suitcases will feel a bit lost.

Worst problem is the dangerous road between the old building and the new building. Check with the hotel where you will be staying and take the route close to the Goodzone club if you are in the new building. Take the route from the West side for the old building where the swimming pool is. The hotel should give advise on this due to the poor quality of the roads by the hotel. In the new block the rooms are good, but the swimming pool is not finished. The salmon and mussels were very good, but a little expensive.The restaurant service was very slow when busy and when not busy all food arrived at once, including deserts. When at the hotel we felt it was isolated. On leaving the hotel we drove out via the Goodzone club and saw more shops and bars that we did not realise were so close. We would have walked out of the hotel in the evenings had we known.
