Excellent

Very welcoming from the minute we arrived. The lady on reception was helpful and friendly. The communal areas have beautiful decoration and when we entered the room I was pleasantly surprised, it was beautiful. The air con had been put on for our arrival, which was welcomed as it was 33 degrees outside. We left our things and went down to the bar/restaurant to take a coffee and drink. It was so pleasant on the terrace outside that we decided to have a late lunch. The food was plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced. All in all a really nice experience. We only stayed one night as we were attending a concert, but if we ever find ourself in the town again I will definitely book again.

Central location and with the advantage of discounted parking literally a stones throw away from the hostel (which I might add doesn’t feel Like a hostel) HB Torrevieja was the perfect answer for our leisure/business few days away. Staff friendly, helpful and polite. We felt safe and welcome from the moment we arrived till the minute we left. Food from the restaurant was good quality and value. Introduced by daughter to the pleasure of a cold Mahou beer after a busy day working. Location, perfect a short walk down into the town which was so busy. Although the bathroom was small it was serviceable with shower, basin and toilet complemented with towels and a hair dryer. Would I stay here again…… without a doubt YES! Thank you.

A Good Budget Hotel, close to beach with great Restaurant & lovely Staff.

How good can a 75 euro a night hotel be in high season ? Well, this one was really good. Lovely basic room with very clean bathroom, air conditioning and comfy beds freshly painted and well maintained. Excellent staff that did every thing to please. The restaurant served really good food and an amazing cooked breakfast with a perfect cappuccino, yes that's right the 75 euro included cooked breakfast in the restaurant and the best cappuccinos we have had in Spain. Well done to the staff and the restaurant exceeded our expectations. also a great location and a 7 minute walk to the beach. Thanks, Simone & Geoff from Australia.

Disappointing

The place is close to everything

When I booked the room was written 15 m, but when I delivered the room, it was 5 m, and the room was on the third floor and without an elevator, and I asked the reception to change the room, but it was not accepted, and hi said the hotel was complete, But there were many rooms here. The bathroom is very small.

bathrooms could do with a bit of updating e:g shower leaked if shower head not positioned appropriately causing flooding to floor .

I would not recommend this Hostal at all. Noisy, very small room and bathroom, staff was not so nice.

The mattress was comfortable. Beach is from 15-20 min walk.

I am not a person who likes to complain, but our stay was very disappointing, so keep these in mind if you want to choose this Hostal: -Our room was so small, that we felt claustrophobic in it. I am not kidding. Only two bed fit in it and a mini closet, it was basically three steps that we could do in the whole room. Felt like we are in a cave. The pictures on booking are definitely of the better rooms… -The bathroom is so narrow and theres so small space that you can barely close the door because the toilet is in the way, and you cant even turn around in the bathroom…we are small women, so I can’t even imagine how a bigger man could fit in the bathroom at all. -Our room was right next/above the kitchen, so until late night and early morning we could not sleep because of the loud noises and smells… The only window was to the kitchen too. -The sink was constantly dripping water on the side to the ground since we arrived. - Basically there was no receptionist at the reception…any time we had an issue/question or when we checked in and out, we had to wait for somebody to come from the restaurant, and they seemed like they were too busy to attend and they made us feel like we are just bothering and we are not welcomed. Check in is from 14:00, and we arrived after, but we still had to wait because the staff was still cleaning our room. Just keep in mind that maybe you have to wait to take your room. -Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from the other rooms.
