OK for 1 night stay

The was clean - no cockroaches or unwanted bugs. The location is perfect for whale shark watching and the hotel helps you arranging the tour. They woke us up at 3:00 AM and then we got into the line for whale shark watching. Around 4:45- 5:00 we got our waiting number and had a free time until the activity starts at 6:00. Finally, we are done around 7:30 thanks to the very attentive guide.

It is extremely noisy. We stayed in a ground floor room and the AC was super loud. We did not ever hear any noise from the very busy main road right in front of the hotel thanks to the extremely loud AC. The sink was clogged and leaking.

Super amazing staff, good location

The staff were super sweet and helpful throughout our whole stay. They were guiding us on places to go and how to get there. The location is just at a 5 min walk from the whale shark watching spot and Tumalog falls.

Great hostel for whale sharks (walking distance) and lovely staff!

Great location for the Whale Sharks and Tumalog falls! They can help arrange tour guides who can take you to the falls or anywhere you want to go! Very friendly staff that let us keep our bags while we ventured out the next morning before our bus.

Exceptional

The staff is amazing. I was planning on lining up to watch the whale sharks at around 5am. The guy who checked me in told me to go to the Whale Shark watching tour at 4:30am. I got there around 4:40am and there was already a line. By 5am, the line has more than tripled and was spilling over into the road. I really appreciate the heads up. Also, it's a 7-minute walk away from the whale shark place.

one or two night stay was ok

room was clean, short walk to the oslob whales. Local buses stop at driveway, staff waited with us to wave down the bus, when it was time to move on....very friendly staff.

The shower was really weak and cold. The fan was extremely loud and there were ants everywhere.

Disappointing

Clean room. Closest location to whale shark watching

We had problems with tap water. For start there was no water in the room, after I asked the concierge for help she turned it on but the water almost did not flow. The shower barely dripped, the toilet was filling up in few minutes. And "sorry, we have low water pressure" not helps after full day of activity, the shower is not a luxury, it is a necessity

Disappointing

They had no clue that I am arriving or having a confirmed booking, or which room i booked ... room wasn't too bad , clean but 0 amenities offered not even toilet rolls. Staff are helpful tho , shower was completely cold , location is not far from the snorkeling activity that is the goal of being there then you can catch bus to your bext destination. For a night stay it's okay

Close to whale sharks and relatively cheap - but not value for money.

EXTREMELY noisy from road. Only slept a few hours. No hot water. Sometimes no water. Sheets were not clean. Over all poor experience.

staff are very accomodating, overall a good place for short stay

accessibility to the whale shark diving/swimming area

need some repair on bathroom light switch, sink faucet. Water is not available at all times. Bunk bed foam are too long and doesn’t fit well. Doesn’t have enough parking space.

Worst customer service ever!

it was a terrible experience, we came with a group, rented 4 rooms for one night. In the morning we planned to go with sharks. ALL NIGHT, without a break, STAFF sat on the street (in front of our bedroom, we had ground floor rooms) and shouted, laughed, talked. any of our requests to be quiet were ignored! in the morning we were unable to go to the sharks, because they couldn't sleep all night! it was terrible, do not recommend!!!!

near the whale watching site and staff are very friendly and accommodating

very convenient accommodation because it was near oslob’s whale watching site. our whale watching experience was very smooth because they arranged it for us and listed our names in advance. by the time we’re on site, we’re next in line for the boat already!

it was along the road and the sound of cars passing by can be a bit bothersome during sleep
