Sincèrement, on a pas compris pourquoi c’était aussi bien noté.
Les draps était vraiment sales ( du sable, des taches, des cheveux…) et la salle de bain commune encore pire. Les cuvettes étaient cassées. Le sol était sale, l’évier bouché. Il y avait une très mauvaise odeur.

Best value for money probably in whole Amed! The place was so nice I ended up staying longer. The room was really clean, private and spacious for one person. Never had to wait my turn to the toilet or shower. Staff friendly and super helpful. They helped me arrange a ride to the next place even though there were no shuttle buses going there the next morning. Food was also really good for the price! Would recommend!

The staff at the hostel were lovely and helpful
The owner was very rude to a change in circumstances - we had a family emergency and had to cut our stay short and he became one of the top 3 most disrespectful people I had met in 3months of travel... thats really saying something

The room was clean, good air con , bed was nice and comfortable - despite the negatives I would stay here again as the price is very cheap.
The bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, both toilet seats were broken && this has been brought up on previous reviews months ago and has still not been fixed. One shower had okay water pressure the other was terrible. The girls running it weren’t about much, and one of evenings when we got back late they informed us they wouldn’t be there for breakfast so gave us a cold toasty to eat in the morning. ( we ate it that evening because who wants cold toast made the evening before for breakfast?) && tbh the breakfast was okay but certainly the smallest free breakfast I’ve experience on our trip so far.

Clean and comfy bed, AC, clean showers, nice staff and small breakfast indluded
Location just next to main road so it's a bit loud. There is only door with glass in front of everybody so when you keep curtains closed it's a bit claustrophobic because there are no other windowds

I loved this place! I stayed longer then I planned because I liked it so much, would definitely stay there again if I went back. The sisters that run the place are so nice and everything they cook is amazing!

Helpful lovely hosts, good location, comfortable bed, small but really tasty breakfast.
Really good value for money.
Rooms are very small and don't have windows, which feels a bit claustrophobic. And on the night I was the only guest it didn't feel particularly safe (the rooms and bathrooms are accessible from open area, almost straight from the street, just hidden behind the restaurant)

The location is wonderful, you are right at the beach and in the middle of the centre of Amed filled with bars, restaurants, diving spots…
The room is very clean, and there is a little spot with beanbags in front of your room, fun to hang out!

As seen in previous reviews, the water pressure of the shared bathroom indeed isn’t amazing. But with a bit a patience it is possible to even wash your hair ;-) So it’s really not a big deal.

Very good price for a comfortable bed, lots of restaurants around.

Great location, close to my dive shop. Good warung right in front of my room - called Moonshine cafe. The owners were great and very warm.
My room size was slightly small compared to the other rooms. But for IDR 90,000 it was amazing

Shower had no pressure, washing my hair was impossible. The portions of the restaurant/breakfast were too small and the quality was ‘okay’. no free drinking water available.

What a wonderful place! We absolutely loved our stay here. It's not a traditional hostel because there are no dorms. Instead, there are a few private rooms with large, comfy beds and a lockable wardrobe. The room was very clean and very comfortable. AC worked great. Tasty breakfast. You can't beat the location either. The family that owns Backpackers are amazing, friendly, and kind people. We greatly enjoyed chatting with them! The owner's daughters play guitar and sing beautifully, and we loved singing along in the evening.

Fantastic warm friendly family run buisness in the centre of the diving and snorkeling capital Amed. Great food served at the restaurant and breakfast available too for staying guests

Great hosts, clean room and very nice veg omelette for breakfast.
I guess it can not be helped but the chickens next door are very noisy all through the night which is not ideal if you want some rest before an early start in morning.

The location is right in the middle of Amed. It's a local owned place. The room was really good with excellent air conditioning and even a little table in the room.

Room was very clean and doors shut all the way so no bugs got in, which is really important for me because I hate getting bit by mosqiotos! Was a great little place and will stay again next time I'm in Amed.
