The cottage (number 2) is goid furnished and equipped. Everything we needed was available. The key hand over was super easy via key-box. We received check-in message in advance with code to get key. All was clean and tidy. The place is quiet. We had good stay there. Check out was easy and quick, while putting the key to the key-box. Thank you.

- The light in the bathroom was a bit weak. - The beds were too soft. - We missed few coat hooks.

The cabin was very cosy and everything you needed.

The road was nearby and you could hear the traffic, but it wasn't to intrusive. The cabin is set in a slightly strange place. The golf course is opposite which is fine but to one side it was slightly industrial. It was still lovely though

There is a unique hot plate, toaster over combination that allowed us to cook at the location. There was just enough utensils and cookware to get the job done. The cottage is stand alone so it was good for privacy. It is a decent place for 4 people if two of them are a couple. This place has real potential if they would get a larger hot water heater and adjust the doors. Having a lock box for check-in is nice so we didn't have to worry about check-in times.

It said it was a two-bedroom place but it isn't. The second bedroom is just a bunk bed next to the entrance to the bathroom. This was not ideal. Every door in the place was warped and wouldn't shut right. The bathroom door in particular wouldn't shut and the handle kept falling off. The water pressure was great and the water was hot but it ran out during a normal-length shower. Make sure to take quick showers.

This was our last accomodation in Iceland and we were very disappointed about this location: it was situated at the end of a industry terrain, on a gravel kind of parking area, near a quite busy road with NO working WIFI. Oh yes, and the description said 2 bed rooms, but it was one. The other bed were in the living room, next to the toilet/bathroom. The interior was ok, simple and clean. The small city nearby is: Þorlákshöfn, which has hardly any facilities, but it includes a grocery store. the beach is 400 meters away, but not really inviting and a bit industrial in my opinion.

Very cosy for the price. The cottage was clean and nice.

"The stow" wasnt that good. Although we got our eggs and noodles boiled.

Everything was clean and comfortable. The owner made everything so convenient and was very accommodating

Ample parking

Bed too small. One of us ended up sleeping on the bunk bed. Not a great use of the space. Felt cramped. To call it a beach cottage is a bit of a stretch as you cant even see rhe sea!

I loved that nobody else was around

The size of the little cabin, the cleanliness and efficiency of all within, the sound of the waves going to sleep. The deck in sunshine next morning.

Directions - I think maybe you got left mixed up with right? We turned right off main road, then left but property is then on the right. Your road signs are good but the grass has grown to cover much of them at the moment.

nice apartment. They also offer tours via their company.

House was cosy. Everything clean. Kitchen fully equipped. I recommend.

Close to the volcano area. Close to beach

Ca I’m we were told we would have had someone in it when we arrived. Took awhile to get it straightened out and they moved us to another cabin

Perfectly located for after our evening hike to the volcanic eruption as we were touring southeast towards Vik the next day. The units are on the side of a commercial lot but they face away from it towards the golf course. They are small but have bunk beds for the kids and a separate bedroom for the parents. It is a very short walk to see the black sand beach. The high sand dunes are impressive.

The cottage was very clean and quaint. The cooking amenities we needed were all there. As American travelers, we were able to check in earlier as we were the only guests at the cottages that day, which was very helpful for the "mini quarantine" we had to do. As our first destination, the Cottage was a bit hard to find from Google Maps, but the owners put signs all over the surrounding vicinity, so that was helpful. If you're into tiny houses, this was a beautiful and clean one right out of the books. Big wall-to-ceiling glass doors to let you gaze out into the May nights as you sleep. Beds so comfortable.

The hot water heater is a little limited, so remember to take quick showers and turn off the faucets in between soaping and rinsing. My dad took a 10-min shower with the hot water on, and it ran out when I got in. Had to wait 1-2 hours for the boiler to recharge. Perfectly understandable given this is a cottage. :)
