Great apartment for a family of 4

Very nice, modern & spacious apartment. Very clean and AC was great- very quiet! Big balcony with a great view of the ocean and mountains!

There could have been a few more utensils in the kitchen. Now only one cutting board & no scissors for example. And we would have liked to have some night stand lights. Now only lamp in bedrooms is strong light in ceiling which you can’t dim.

Nice and clean, everything worked and no issues

Location was a bit up hill and we weren’t expecting to pay cash up front (doesn’t take credit cards so no protection when handing over a large sum of cash). This wasn’t clear until we made the booking but booking.com i think hides this when looking at listings

Great seaview apartment close-by to the beach

We loved the sea view and the spaciousness of the apartment! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped with all kinds of pots and pans, glasses, plates and cutlery! There was a washing machine which is really helpful in case you are staying more than a few days. The beach was a 10min walk (downhill) from the apartment and there were plenty grocery stores and restaurants close by. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate.

In my opinion, this is an apartment building, not a villa. There was parking at the property, but a bit inconvenient if you are not a confident driver.

Amazing week, great weather, food and apartment. The Croatians are super friendly. Ocean is amazing.

A really nice and modern apartment with all the facilities a family needs. Air-conditioner in each room is a big plus. The view over Makarska and the Adriatic Sea from the Balcony was amazing. A nice pool to cool down in after the beach. It was shared by all the apartments, but we could always find the opportunity to use the pool for ourselves. The landlord family is just super, helpful, friendly and flexibel.

The apartment is a ca 10 min walk from the beach, and Makarska is quite hilly. But we just thought it was good for us to get a little exercise during our vacation and it was definetly worth getting that great view over the city and the ocean.

modern apartment with pool in great area providing relief from busy beach and heat

very spacious well-equipped modern apartment with lovely pool to share with other residents. very welcoming and friendly owner although no English spoken, only German! interesting area with walking in the mountains possible, as well as lots of beach activities and restaurants

we weren't prepared for the area being full of holiday apartments so it took some getting used to- pretty hilly! perhaps some instructions in various languages for disposing of rubbish and other maintenance requirements like turning on the water for the washing machine would be helpful, with tourist info and taxi numbers.

Splendid views, high standard, pool & great location

Outstanding views from our (4th) floor!!! Comfortable beds, clean, very high standard, nice landlord lady, good location 10 mins walking distance from the beach and 3-5 from a local small supermarket, lots of restaurants nearby

We felt we had to keep the children (4-8 years old) down a bit out of respect for the other more senior guests, but nothing that was an issue as most of the times we were alone by the pool
