Outstanding property!!!!! The pool was amazing and all the room to spread. We highly recommend Paradise Found.

We chose to stay on the East end for the first half of our vacation, hoping to find a quiet, restful place to recharge. Paradise found was the perfect spot, located in a quiet area with plenty of privacy. The villa has beautiful water views and we enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. The ocean breeze kept the villa comfortable the entire time and we never turned on the air conditioning. We really enjoyed the pool for swims in between beach trips and spent many hours relaxing and eating breakfast or dinner on the wrap-around porch. Some of the island’s nicest and most private beaches are within an easy 5-10 minute drive…Smuggler’s Cove, Jack’s Beach, Isaac’s Beach. Our host Sara was excellent to work with. She met us about 10 minutes away from the house and guided us the rest of the way, walked us through the villa and offered many recommendations for shopping, beaches and other things to see and do.

We had a great experience and a wonderful time enjoying our vacation and celebrating my wife’s birthday. The home is perfect for a getaway. Everything we needed to cook was available. They provided beach chairs as well as coolers we could use. The grill was great for making dinner on nights we didn’t go out and the washer and dryer made it so all we have to do is unpack when we get home. We enjoyed the wildlife. We saw iguanas, deer, mongoose and banannaquit. The pool was a welcome feature and we loved to go out all day and come home to a refreshing dip before settling in. I have to mention our host Sara who was very accommodating. With all the airline wackiness, we had our flights there cancelled, rescheduled and delayed multiple times. She rolled with it and made sure we were taken care of.

The main shared living area and kitchen are just the right size too. The extra suite on the lower level would be great for another friend or couple too! It's an adorable space. I'm not one for heat so rely on A/C on these kinds of trips but the listing is spot on that you rarely need it! The breezes are cool and comfortable. The deck was our favorite place to relax and enjoy them. Iguanas love the pool and banaquits were our daily visitors on the deck, much to our enjoyment. We added some notes in the visitor's book with suggestions for activities and places to dine so check that out. We did not want to leave! Thanks Paradise Found! A few tips for your awareness: --The beach chairs provided are collapsible camping chairs, not beach loungers, fyi. -- The house is on hilly, rocky terrain. Stairs to and from the house are gorgeous stone. There are fun stepping stones around the property to enjoy. --You must drive to the beach areas; there is nothing within walking distance of the house. --Definitely recommend a jeep or higher profile vehicle for the island. The access roads to some beaches are in poor condition so prepare for a bumpy ride... but so worth it! --You do drive on the left in St. Croix :D -- The drive to the property ends with a steep uphill climb and then a brief but steep downhill drive. Makes you feel very secluded. Loved it! Not a lot of room to turn a vehicle around but we were able to do so with some practice.

Paradise Found was a perfect house for 2 couples. The pod style of the bedrooms worked well to give everyone privacy while allowing us to get together on the deck, by the pool, or in the living area. We were very impressed with how well stocked the house was. It had everything from paper products to dishwashing and laundry detergent. We loved sitting outside in the morning and in the evening, enjoying the view and feeding the little Sugar Birds. Thank you Sara for providing the perfect home base for our St. Croix adventures!

We had a wonderful time, and enjoyed the deck, trade winds, sound and view of the bays, and proximity to east end activities. Loved being here, and would come back. The screen doors blew loose/off during the wind storm Tuesday, pushing the screens out of them (sliders). We fixed them a couple of times, but didn't get them to stay in well.

Absolutely perfect! The view is amazing and the property is amazing. Perfect for anyone especially groups due to how the bedrooms are arranged. I would recommend highly and stay again in the future.

Overall a great property. Great view, nice pool, and a quaint island villa in a good part of the island. The only reason it’s not 5/5 is due to the neighbor that has a large house overlooking the pool. I’m a light sleeper and they have a dog that wakes up early and likes to bark a lot. Other than that, I would stay here again.

This house is amazing for couples or those with older kids. Our two grown children and one grandchild (10) loved the house. Each ensuite was well stocked. Pool was a favorite for afternoon cooling off. Near great beaches and amazing sunsets at Pt. Udall.

Such a pleasure to work with her both before and during our trip! As for the house itself…absolute perfection!!! We were traveling with our son, daughter and son-in-law. We spent our time together hanging out on the deck or pool…the gorgeous views, the constant breezes, the sounds of the ocean and the birds was just heavenly. When it was time to retire for the evening, it was like we each had our own private villa…PERFECT for traveling with a group. Everything worked great and was easy to use. We loved having the 6 beach towels, 6 beach chairs, and coolers. We brought our own gear but noticed there were a couple of snorkels, one pair of fins, and some pool noodles in the pool bin. We fell in love with the quiet beauty of the East end…I think the views on the way out there were some of the most beautiful we saw on the island. Turning left out of the driveway, our favorite beaches were just 5-10 minutes away and close to beautiful Point Udall. We all felt this home was magical…dreaming of coming back already!

While we didn’t get to take full advantage of the unique pod-style layout of the home this visit (each bedroom and bathroom is in its own separate lockable space connecting to the main kitchen/dining/ living room pod area, which would be great for several couples traveling together or families needing to spread out), we are already planning a return trip to this location with a larger group. We loved cooking breakfast and enjoying coffee and the gorgeous view on the wraparound porch before venturing out to explore a new beach each day. After a long day in the sun, it was great to come home and take a dip in the pool before hanging out again on the covered porch for frozen drinks and grilling out in the evenings. The house was well-equipped for us cooking most of our meals at home (although it could definitely use some new skillets), and we appreciated the spices found in the cabinets and leftover cold drinks in the fridge. Property manager Christie was great to work with and made the check-in/out process easy. We can’t wait to come back and visit again in non-COVID times to fully explore the island.

This house was just what we needed for a quiet getaway!

Hard to choose which is the best feature of renting this house. It’s a tie between the view and the property manager, Christine. I’ll start with our lovely liaison. From start to finish, she communicated quickly. Christine is an extraordinarily helpful person who gave me updates about what was happening regarding Covid and the island before we ever got there. She arranged to meet us once we arrived and gave a thorough tour of the house with explanations for everything from how things in the house worked to features we might want to utilize. The wraparound deck was my favorite part of the house. Wonderful breezes at all times of day and night. We went in July so things are a bit warm, but I’m from South Texas, so it didn’t seem overly warm to me. You can watch the iguanas in the trees, enjoy the pool, shower off after a day at the beach in a nice outdoor shower station or take well needed naps in your air-conditioned room. It’s nice that all three rooms are very separate from each other. I will say that the downstairs room is not as well appointed as the two on the main level. Everything in the house works well. I would say that if you were to come in the summer, the main room can be a little warm despite opening it up to the ocean air. This is a warmer time of year on the island and that should be considered. Also, this house is in the eastern part of the island and not in the thick of town stuff. We really enjoyed our week away from cars and stores and lots of people, but that might not be to everybody’s liking. You definitely need a rental car if you are going to stay at this house. Frankly, if you want to get around on the island, you will need a car regardless There are some great beaches nearby, which we took full advantage of. Smugglers Cove is one of our favorites. The house also has nice touches like beach towels and beach chairs and pool noodles. Christine also gave us a great map that helped us to figure out how to get to the places we needed from the grocery store to restaurants. Wi fi worked great too! I would highly recommend renting this house.
