Located in San Marco, this lovely condo for £153 per night is a great option for your next trip. BARTOLO II is a completely restored flat on the first floor (no lift), overlooking a small, typically Venetian street. This period flat has kept all its Venetian charm (thanks to the exposed beams and gothic windows), with the added comfort of a modern flat (air conditioning, underfloor heating...). BARTOLO II immerses you in the atmosphere of old Venice and its period palaces with its typical "trifore". The flat consists of a large living room separated from the night area by a sliding door. A small corridor leads to the bathroom, the master bedroom and a second bedroom. - The living room has four beautiful windows overlooking Calle della Bissa, giving an impression of space. The kitchen area is completely integrated into the living room and consists of a table with four chairs. - The kitchen is fully equipped: gas cooker with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, complete kitchenware. - The main bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200 cm), 2 colourful stools as a bedside table and an open wardrobe area. - The second bedroom has two large wardrobes on either side of a single bed (85 x 190 cm), a wooden desk and a chair. The second bed (85 x 190 cm) is positioned in the L part of the room where the window and a sliding door to the master bedroom are located. - The bathroom/WC has a shower, washbasin, bidet and WC. The area: Campo San Bartolomeo is located at the foot of the Rialto Bridge and has been the heart of Venice since its origins. From here it is easy to reach the most famous places in the city: Rialto Bridge (1 minute walk), St. Mark's Square (10 minutes walk), the Academy Museum (20 minutes walk)... It is also a place to meet at the end of the day for an aperitif in one of the many "baccari" (traditional Venetian wine bars) in the area. It is served by the "Rialto" vaporetto stop. The entrance to the flat is through a small courtyard. Remarks : Possible noise after 11 pm due to the nearby bar.

Was as expected. Great location only 4 minutes walking from bridge and local transportation. Host was helpful initially finding it as it is tucked away. Sometimes noisy at night below windows but definitely didn’t bother us.

We stayed at this property 6 years ago and it was great. This time it has really declined. An incredibly noisy bar has moved in just below the first floor windows. The windows in the livingroom and bedroom were stuck open and it was sooooo loud. Also neighbours screaming at patrons to be quiet. Lamp in bedroom was broken and fell on me in the middle of the night. Shower handle was broken and so annoying to deal with. Other smaller issues included 1/2 a roll of toilet paper left for 2 people for 7 days and not a single English language channel on TV. (for that money, we would have thought that at least a news channel or basic streaming would be included). The kitchen was also equipped at bare minimum levels. Sophie was lovely, but the gentleman at the main office caused us so much stress by pressuring us to a meeting time that was impossible for us to meet with our train arrival of 3 pm. Venice is still our favorite city. We recommend a wine tour in prosecco if you can fit it in. But all in all, we were very disappointed with this property and won't stay here again.

Great location in close proximity to Rialto bridge area of Venice. We were greeted in person and shown the apartment when we arrived. A comfortable and nice size apartment. Check in and out was very easy.

This property was in a perfect location to hit all of the main attractions in Venice. Everything was 10 minutes away from the apartment. It was comfortable, clean and very friendly. The one issue we had is that they only had 1 plate in the apartment and with a family of 3 it was hard to eat sometime. Otherwise it was perfect.
