Situated in Lake Martin, this charming house for £313 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Slice of Lake Life - My happy place! Relax on the huge screened porch steps away from Lake Martin. Quiet Sandy Creek area has the perfect balance of activity vs privacy. Ski/tube or fish right outside. The yard is flat and grassy, perfect for kicking the ball or laying out. Sit and talk around the fire pit in the evenings. Inside, entertain yourselves with various board games, books and puzzles. House has a private boat ramp and dock. Please be aware that the lake water level is controlled by Alabama Power and in the winter depending on what they do as well as the amount of rain received you may need to use the public launch. The water level is typically lowered gradually starting in September and is raised gradually starting in March. Please check LakeMartin.com/Level.asp to see the estimated level for your visit. We recommend the level to be 488 MSL to comfortably use the launch. At this level the floating dock will be approximately 4.5 feet deep at the front of the slip and 5.5 feet deep at the back. At 487 MSL you can still use the floating dock, but will likely need to use the public launch at the end of Youngs Ferry Rd. There is plenty of parking with a long driveway, parking area, as well as the boat launch. For outdoor fun we have various floats for swimming, a four person pedal boat, and two kayaks for the adventurous. In the laundry room there are outdoor games - horseshoes, ladder toss, etc. If you bring a pet, there is a solid tie down set up if needed. Four bedroom, two bath home with a sleeper sofa in den easily sleeps 10. Great room with living and dining areas has a window wall overlooking the lake. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Eat inside or outside under ceiling fans on the screened in porch. All rooms have ceiling fans. In the king room closet is a pack-n-play (no crib bedding is provided). The highchair is in the garage. There are Smart TVs in the Living Room and both bedrooms with king beds with access to your personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc. accounts. The neighborhood as friendly dogs off leash, so don't be surprised if you have a welcoming party. House has exterior cameras primarily for safety when the home is unoccupied.

We loved how equipped the kitchen was for us to enjoy cooking while watching the Bowl Games. Also loved a sunset fire in the fire pit that was supplied with lots of wood too! So many little touches make this a great getaway house! We will be back! Happy New Year!

We loved this house - perfect for our family and a few friends. House was clean and had everything we needed. One-story house was great for older parents (there are stairs down off the back deck). Prior guests had left water toys out so they needed a little TLC, but otherwise we had a wonderful time and will stay again for sure!

Great location on the water. Very quiet,private dock,place to swim,and everything you could ask for in the house. My wife , myself, and our two dogs absolutely loved this place. The host was awesome and always available to answer any questions. 10 out of 10 rating for us !!!!

The house was spacious for the 8 of us staying there. The front yard was great for yard games and the screened-in porch was perfect for hanging out in the evenings. A huge bonus was having our own boat ramp on property.

This was our first time going to lake Martin and this property had it ALL. Great back porch views, easy quick access to nearby grocery, great location on the lake, all the amenities you could ever think of. Great property for families with young children due to easy access into the lake for swimming and floating. Kids caught a ton of fish off the dock. Bring a boat if you have one to go out to chimney rock and do some cliff jumping and to also take in all the great scenery this lake has to offer. My best vacation to date. Will make this place my annual family vacation for now on. Communication with host was great! Property was spotless!

One of the best properties at Lake Martin. The kayak and paddle boat were really a great addition to a already very nice and cozy house. The back screened porch was very relaxing and the view of the lake was awesome. Very nice hostess, she communicated quickly and answered all our questions in very friendly way. The deck sitting area was also a nice touch. Even with the rain it was still a great weekend vacation here.

This house was wonderful more than we could have ever asked for. The house and kitchen were well stocked, and the location was great. The property had everything we needed and more. The screened-in back porch overlooking the lake was our favorite place to hang out. Our family will is already trying to plan our next long weekend together at the lake. The Joneses were wonderful hosts and I am so thankful they allowed us to stay at their house. 10 out of 10 recommend this house!!!!

We had a wonderful time. If you want to get away from it all this is a great ace to stay. We lived swimming and fishing off the dock. The rental had everything we could possibly want- games, outdoor yard games, life vests for dogs! I hope we will get to return soon!

Rented June 2022 for Father’s Day and parents 59th wedding anniversary. The amount of bedrooms and sleep spaces were perfect for my family. We really enjoyed using all the water toys that the rental provided. The screened in porch and covered dock was a huge bonus. I am keeping this on my short list to rent again!!

The view of the lake is beautiful! Check in was a breeze. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Screened in back porch was great. Weather didn’t cooperate for us but there were plenty of water toys…kayaks, floats, water hammocks, etc. Enjoyed the dock as well.

Great location and wonderful property! Our grandchildren twins thoroughly enjoyed fishing off of the dock and hiking Smith Mountain right down the road. Pam was a great host and always responsive. The house was very clean and fully stocked. Our fur baby loved meeting all of the dogs in the neighborhood. The water was still low and we had to use boat ramp close by to put in our boat but were able to utilize the floating dock. Our grandson enjoyed fishing from one of the kayaks as well. The screened porch was perfect for morning coffee!! Definitely will want to visit this home again!
