About this house rental
We guarantee the view! Enjoy your coffee on the deck with the sunrise and have happy hour looking over the ocean when the sun sets. This is a beautifully decorated 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home with everything you have at home, plus a view. The kitchen is well-equipped with anything a cook might need. If cooking is not your thing there are great restaurants in Ocean Isle, Sunset, and Calabash. Each bedroom has a TV/DVD. . You will feel like you are home away from home with all of the amenities including Wi-Fi. The downstairs deck in perfect for watching the kids on the beach or for a gathering spot. The upstairs deck is off of the master bedroom and is a great place to sun or to read a book. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. It has a connecting bathroom with a shower. Three of the bedrooms are located upstairs. The back and middle bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath with a double vanity area and separate tub and shower. The master bedroom has it's own bath with a shower and both upstairs baths have skylights. The back bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin bed with a trundle. The middle room is perfect for the kids. There are bunk beds along with a full size bed. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a sitting area. The home is part of a duplex at the peaceful end of the beach near the inlet.(Both sides of the duplex may be available upon request.) For those looking to stay busy, some of the best golf courses are located within 10 min. of the house. Myrtle Beach, SC, is just 25 miles away with anything you would like to do. Spend a day shopping at the outlets or take in a show at the Palace Theater. If you are in the mood for a quiet, small town atmosphere, Southport, NC is a short drive from Ocean Isle. The streets are lined with antique stores and great water front dining. You can also take the Fort Fisher Ferry from Southport to Fort Fisher/Wilmington to visit the Aquarium, Battleship North Carolina or have lunch on the waterfront. If your plan is to do as little as possible, Ocean Isle Beach fits the bill too. The beach is at your door step. There are wonderful surf and deep sea fishing opportunities in the area. Bike rentals are available on the island as well as kayaks. This is a place where everyone can find what they want to do or not do, as the case may be. The house was great. It was exactly as advertised with one small adjustment. The description indicates that all bedrooms have flat screen TVs, but apparently they had been damage in a lightning strike. The house was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The patio had plenty of seating to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while watching the ocean. The host was responsive when I had a question and address it immediately, which, having traveled to North Carolina from Texas was greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved everything about this home! The views were spectacular, the furniture was very comfy, well stocked kitchen with many options available for cookware, bakeware, dinnerware and serving to choose from. Loved being right on the beach! Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay despite having a few inconveniences….from a lightning strike the week before. However, Sarah was up front and honest about everything and worked diligently to make things right for us. Anytime we had a question or found other issues from the lightning strike, she was only a text or phone call away. The location is fantastic and kitchen is well stocked!! And the deck made a wonderful hangout for our elderly family members when the rest of us were on the beach. I would definitely recommend this rental….and lightning usually doesn’t strike the same place twice. :-)

We have stayed at Ocean Isle Beach for the past 8 years and it truly is our home away from home! This is the first year we've used VRBO and it was so easy and convenient! Everyone was always informative and friendly. We will definitely use them again for our next vacation!

We found Sarah’s listing 2 years ago when we came back to OIB and we LOVE this location and house. Right off of the beach with everything you could ask for. Any time we needed help, they were quick to respond and do what they can to take care of it and keep us informed. This is a vacation that we have and will continue to look forward to! Cannot say enough about this place.

This house is just about perfect, inside and out. Steps from the beach, the experience of enjoying the sand and the surf is matched by the comforts of the house and all the amenities offered. Comfy beds, a lovely master suite, and a stocked kitchen for cooking. We enjoyed the deck for meals and hanging out, and the outdoor shower was great.
Would stay again without a second thought. A perfect week at a lovely home. Thank you Sarah.

The house was perfect for our group of 12. Lots of beds available and the extra bathrooms were great too. We spent a lot of time enjoying the back decks. We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Beach Home!
Bright and clean and obviously well cared for. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, and we really appreciated the labels on the drawers and cabinets! Great location in a quiet area of the beach, yet close to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, etc.
Hosts were welcoming and easily accessible.

The shower under the house was perfect to shower all the little kids (they thought it was so cool!)
Being able to run right back up to the house for drinks and food or even to just cool off for a couple minutes was so convenient. We could stay on the beach much longer! Also nice for when kids needed to nap! House was steps away! Almost a private beach feel!
For warned: if you have a shibumi - you can have it up but can be only 15 feet from where the grass is in front of the sand dunes. Can't have it up closer or else the beach patrol will make you take it down or tell you to move back.
All the rooms were great! Comfy beds. Plenty of pillows. Each family had a room and one room was strictly a kids room!
Over all... we will be back next summer!!

Family get away
Enjoyed the excellent location on the beach with the great views. Made being on the beach more enjoyable with children able to get to bathroom easily. The only negative I have is the hit and miss Wi-Fi. I was a little nervous of it being a duplex but worked out well. I would rent again.

Wonderful Stay
The property was absolutely stunning. All the appliances to cook comfortably at home. Very organized with labeled cupboards made finding items a breeze. Cleanliness was top notch when checking in. Surrounding property was in beautiful condition. First time staying at OIB and would definitely return.

A few feet from the beach, you can’t get a better view than this. Watched the sun rise and set every day from the deck. You can sit comfortably in the living room and still see the ocean. Would definitely go back!

Arrived at house on time 4 pm couldn’t get in until 4:40 due to electronic lock not working/ battery dead. Manager told me location of keys after calling her several times. Place was good, cleaning wasn’t . Dirty sinks and caked on dirt in air vents. Sand in all shower and tub areas . Roaches noticed everyday and photographed roaches probably there because place is never cleaned properly. Property manager is trying to say we left place dirty with dirty dishes. We did leave dishes in dishwasher because it was still running and cleaning service was there just before 10am and we had to leave. Cleaning lady said she would take care of it. Cleaning lady was also told about place not being clean on arrival. Have photos of everything wrong that I could find. I didn’t complain too vrbo because their complaint number listed wasn’t working and out disconnected. Will not use vrbo in the future. Will not return to C shore because someone, either the cleaning lady or manager wants to

Excellent location, nice house, great for the family
Had a great time here with an excellent beach location. Short walk out the door and you are in the water. No fighting groups of umbrellas or people, just a nice relaxing spot. Really enjoyed it

The house at OIB was great. This was our families second time staying at this house and it is conveniently located on the beach. No need to "pack" all of your beach items as it is a short walk to the sand. We will definitely stay again.

OIB Convert
We had never been to OIB, so the location of the duplex was perfect. Excellent access to the beach, few people on the sand and wonderful views everyday. We are sold on OIB and look forward to coming back next year!

Excellent short vacation with family
Easy. Sarah was very quick to reply to me. The beach house was fully stocked with anything we needed. So much room for all and was decorated beautifully.The view was amazing and so relaxing on the deck.We loved it and hope to go back soon .So many memories we developed . .Thank you Sarah
