Een oase van rust met een prachtig uitzicht

Het appartement is aan het eind van de eerste strook dorpjes uit Kalamata, en daardoor is het er heerlijk rustig, terwijl je wel een prachtig uitzicht op zee hebt (wij hadden een appartement op de eerste verdieping). Het huis ligt prachtig in de ruime tuin met olijfbomen. De faciliteiten zijn uitstekend, modern en met een prachtig balkon. Rania is bijzonder hulpvaardig en reageert snel op alle vragen.

Je moet er wel rekening mee houden dat je een minuut of 20 met de auto bezig bent om naar Kalamata te komen, en dat is dus ook extra reistijd als je bijvoordeeld Sparta wilt bezoeken. Ook een bakkerij of supermarkt is even rijden. Wat ons betreft wegen de prachtige locatie en rust daar moeiteloos tegenop. En je kunt ook altijd gaan eten bij het restaurant aan de overkant van de weg. Het appartement heeft geen standaard service (schoonmaak, schone handdoeken, etc.), maar als je Rania appt komt ze dingen brengen. Soms kan dat wel ietsje langer duren, want ze woont een stukje verderop, dus moet de rit even in weten te passen.

A gem property for quality holiday

The people - Rania is an exceptional host, we didn't miss anything. Family owned place with many long time customers. The property - Lovely apartment, two separate spaces to spend time when our wee one was having a nap. Fully equipped, Nespresso and washing machine were excellent additions. Immaculate, very comfy beds. The grounds - Our wee one loved jumping out of the bed and straight out in the garden (we were on the ground floor) to meet her new friends. Quiet, safe, easy parking. The surroundings - The beach is literally 20 steps away. Pebbled but easy to access. Makes it so easy for young families. One Taverna just across the road, but more options available by car within 10 mins. Final key question: 'Would we go again?' - By all means. Thanks Rania.

No complaints whatsoever, but here's a couple of thoughts for future consideration. A few more hooks in the bathroom would be great to help avoid having towels lying about. For lower placed wall sockets, consider putting safety plugs in to be on the safe side with small kids. Consider less bright bedside lamps. Kitries is a lovely small village. Be mindful that the nearest grocery shop is 5-10 mins away by car. No nearby pharmacy if need be. We loved our rides back to Kalamata (only 30 mins away), but I know this won't suit everyone. Then again, you can come prepared, shop ahead and enjoy a great stay.

great and restful apartment in the middle of an olive grove with a very nice terrace. the apartment is equipped with everything you need. also, the beach is just across the street where you can also find a nice taverna which serves great food. the owner is very nice and obliging. perfect stay for a few days!

A great apartment in a quiet location in front of the sea. Pleasant and comfortable and good value for the price

The apartment is great - spacious, clean. It is evident that they put thought into the small details - from an espresso machine in the kitchen, to a washing machine with capsules for use. very comfortable. The location is great. I had a balcony facing the sea. There is a good tavern in front of the house and a lovely beach. You hardly have to move...Rania was very nice and helpful whenever I needed

Fantastic and relaxing family holiday

Lovely Apartment house with a garden the children can play in. The apartment was very modern, homely, and clean well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. A great pebble beach is just across the streat which allows you to go back and forth to the apartment if needed (very handy with kids). The Taverna there serves very good food for fair prices. The sea is amazing and clean and perfect for children. We loved it and would come back any time!!

Our stay there was perfect. We'll definitely visit again.

The apartment was excellent. Spacious, sparkling clean, and very well equipped. The property is surrounded by olive and lemon trees creating a nice serene setting. The balcony was very nice too, you could see the sunset while sitting there. Rania, our host, was very kind and helpful.

Honestly nothing negative. If I had to say something, I would prefer the doors/windows to have a reclined position option as well.

Exceptional

Four of us spent a week in one of Rania's apartments and we were very pleased with our stay. The apartment is super clean, spacious, and with comfortable beds. You can enjoy your meal on a balcony with a sea view. Taverna is across the house where you can eat tasty dishes at reasonable prices and use their deck chairs. The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by olive and lemon trees, and you can also park your car there. It is 5 seconds away from the beach with pine trees that provide shade. Rania is a great host who respects your privacy and is really quick to assist if anything is needed. Thank you! 😊

nice, clean apartment in a quiet surrounding at literally less than 50 meters from a pebbles beach. very kind and service oriented host ( Rania).

Exceptional apartment in a beautiful peaceful location

Really spacious and very tastefully decorated apartment with huge terrace and sea views. The apartments are situated in a pretty garden in a small olive grove. All modern conveniences including washing machine. Everything was sparkling clean. Alot of effort regarding covid 19 enhanced cleaning measures such as towels and dishcloths and remote control all in sealed packages! 😀 The bed had a very good quality orthopaedic mattress. The location is really peaceful. There is a fish taverna located on a beautiful pebble beach opposite which has a large menu . The food and service was excellent at very reasonable prices. Thank you Panagiotis our waiter. The sunbeds were free and the sea was crystal-clear and blue. It is a 4 min walk with stunning views into the fishing village of Kitries where you will find 2 fish restaurants and one beach bar. Lastly but not least Rania is a lovely host. Thank you for the welcome juice and fruit and thank you for allowing us to leave our things a couple of hours after check out time. A definite must return to accommodate for us.

Nothing to dislike with the apartment or location but it is worth mentioning that there is no mini market for groceries or supplies which could be difficult if you don't have a car. So my advice is to bring supplies with you although Rania does leave a nice welcome pack including juice, tea, coffee and fruit.

Wonderful spacious apartment in great location

Beautiful, spacious apartment, very clean and very well equipped with everything you need. We particularly liked that there is a lot of room and light. The terrace is wonderful, also very big and overlooking that beautiful bay - we loved having our morning coffee there or a glass of wine in the evening to admire the sunset. The pebble beach right in front is great, the water crystal clear and we loved having a morning swim over to Kitries village. The location overall is great - it is far enough away from Kalamata to enjoy peace and quiet, but near enough to go on all kind of outings if the mood takes you. There was a lovely and very generous welcome package when we arrived with fresh fruit, juice, water, some coffee and tea and a very good white wine. Rania is the perfect hostess and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment - we would have loved to stay longer and hope to be back some time in the not-too-far future.

Excellent and above expectations!

Accommodation (very clean, cosy and of great quality), the host, beach, nearby taverna. Excellent holiday spot, calm and next to the beach. The nearby taverna was a delice! The host was very helpful and attentive to all needs, truly charming person, it was a pleasure to spend holidays in Panageas apartments.

Perfect summer holiday

Spacious apartment sleeps comfortably 4, clean and nicely decorated, with it’s own garden and within an olive grove. It is next to a beautiful beach. Perfect for swimming, I loved to swim to the village of kitriés and back, about 40 minutes swim. It has fully equipped kitchen but with several good tavernas near by I didn’t have to cook. Rania was an excellent host.
