Perfect location and apartment. Easy access to the apartment with parking available just across the road. Clear communication with the host Annelis. We were provided with complimentary sweets and Nespresso pods. They even left a bottle of bubbly for the birthday celebration. Thank you!

This was a well equipped, clean apartment in a beautiful town and the hosts were welcoming and helpful. We had not originally intended to stay in Spiez but we found it to be a beautiful lakeside location and a good base to explore the region using the exceptional Swiss rail system.

Firstly the location is perfect. in addition to that this apartment is decorated cozy and elegantly. it is fully equipped. There were some wellcome surprises ( eastern chocolates, fruits, teas etc) .

We loved this apartment. Annelis was a fabulous host and we had a very comfortable stay. The view was stunning - the marina, the lake and the mountains. It was a short walk into the main part of town and there were restaurants and a lovely park right by the apartment. The wharf was a 2 minute walk where boats to Interlaken and Thun departed. On the other side of the marina was a gorgeous walk around the lake to the next town. The beds were comfy and the two bathrooms / one toilet was fine for the 3 of us. The fruit and chocolate treats were a nice touch and appreciated after a long trip. It was cosy and warm and the loungeroom was relaxing. This was the highlight of our 6 week trip!
Taking bags up the stairs is always hard but the large spiral staircase made it easier somehow - seemed less difficult than other places we stayed.

extremely clean to the point where my mum was complimenting on the cleanliness everyday, have everything that you would need for a short stay, very comfortable and great communication from the host. Even though we weren’t travelling with children, but the place came with colouring books, toys for families with children, and all sorts of pamphlets for nearby tourist attractions, we felt thoughtfulness from the host.
the only downside is it’s a slight hike towards the grocery store. and no washing machine

10 minutes walk from train station but with suitcase may be 20-30 minutes.
Don't forget to walk to View point "Katzenstein" - So impressive.
Staircase to room was struggle when arrive.

Perfect location on the Spiez bay. Few minutes walk from the castle, the dock, the playground and the minigolf. Apartment is beautifully decorated by the host.
No lift and the apartment is on the top floor. The parking area is very tight - especially when all places are full, it's a challenge to maneuver an SUV in the space. Some extra dishes would be nice so you don't have to load the dishwasher after every meal.

The owner is really nice, helpful and kind. The room is nice, clean and comfort. Best for couple and family. Very comfy😊😊. Highly recommend and definitely come back to visit here again.😍😍

Amazing place ,great location,overlooking spiez marina and 1 min walk to castle ,everything what you need is there .Detailing to T.Be it kitchen ,living room or bedroom .Extra towels ,napkins ,Coffee /sugar pods ,milk ,sugar ,tea bags all in there .All latest kitchen Equipments and accessories,cleaning materials,everything is taken care of .Playing cards ,games ,spiez sightseeing and around printouts ,list of restaurants,their phone numbers and details are kept there for your need .Heater in balcony to enjoy spiez marina view while sipping in your tea at morning or a drink at night is an additional loyalty in winter .Chocolates and fruit basket on arrival was a great gesture from the hosts .Very approachable Ms Annelis and her husband (Hosts).Would come again and again whenever in Switzerland.
just a mention:Senior citizens and people with knee problems,will have to take 61 no bus to reach property which takes 3-4 mins from train station and frequency is every hourly .Otherwise it’s a lovely small hike .

The location is amazing and the apartment very comfortable and well equipped.
For us the beds were a little hard but this is personal preference. We would still use the apartment again.

The location was good and nice view.
Advertised that there was two bathrooms, when actually it had two showers but only one toilet... Not good for the over 60 couples. The oven did not work and one of the stove tops was broken. It had a fireplace but we could not use it.

Stunning view and great location at the Port. Just below the Spiez castle and a Park.
Beautiful flat decorated with love to the details. Very comfortable and cosy.
Annelise was very helpful with suggestions what we could do with kids albeit not perfect weather.
We enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back!

Great spot especially for families and dog owners. Enjoy the very nice walk by the lake to Faulensee. Dogs can be unleashed most of the way and enjoy a swim in the lake. Surprising wooden Artwork to admire during the walk.
We also visited Kandersteg and Interlaken.
We very much appreciated the fresh flowers and fruit in the apartment. Plan to go back in summertime to enjoy lake activities.

We have had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Ankerplatz! Spiez is a lovely village and the apartment was a nice oasis with a view, close to everything!
