About this house rental
Situated in Chatham, this charming house for £280 per night is a great option for your next trip. Traditional Cape Cod style home with a large, private yard, sunny deck, outdoor shower and hammock in a quiet Chatham neighborhood. • Perfect for days at the beach. We have everything you need: beach chairs, sand umbrella, sand toys and cooler. Chatham has quite a variety of ocean and fresh water beaches. Renowned Hardings Beach is a short 5 min drive away. Outdoor shower and a clothes line make trips from the beach easy. • Relax in the yard or on the deck. Hang in the hammock to nap or read in the shade. Play games in the large, private yard, suitable for family soccer, wiffleball, bocce and croquet games that are fun for all ages. Have a meal, entertain or just relax on the deck. The deck has comfortable furniture, dining table and a large gas grill. One of our favorites is to explore “The Garden Path”, a grassy path that runs from the house toward Oyster Pond. • Versatile Location. This is a great home base for your adventures in Chatham and Cape Cod. Centrally located but still quiet, private, lovely vacation spot near nice beaches, the bike path, walking areas, excellent shopping and restaurants. The house sits in a quiet area on a dead-end road to Oyster Pond, with no through traffic or public access. 3 minute walk down “The Garden Path”, a grassy path that runs from the house to the local fish market, deli, natural food store, pizza and favorite restaurants, Mac’s Seafood and Pate’s. Walk, bike or drive 1.3 miles to downtown Chatham, 1.7 miles to renowned Hardings Beach and more. • Everything You Need. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry (full size), grill and shed with beach paraphernalia and lawn games. There are some other helpful items in the house such as binoculars, books with local activities and history, maps and information about local activities, etc. A variety of books, games, DVD’s, Smart TV access to Netflix / Amazon Prime and XBox for the kids in all of us! Blankets / Pillows / Comforters provided. Bed Linens / Towels / Beach Towels available for a fee or you can bring your own.

Our favorite thing about this house is the location. Chatham was our favorite town on the Cape and this cozy house is just a few minutes away from the best shopping and restaurants. The house is clean and Bonnie is an excellent host who checked in on us consistently. The street is extremely quiet and safe, and all we heard were crickets chirping. Highly recommend!

The communication with the owner was wonderful! She really cares that your check in goes smoothly and that any questions you have during your stay get answered. We appreciated the central air conditioning on warm, humid days. Also, we liked having access to the property's beach chairs and beach umbrella as it was great for our trips to different beaches. Beautifully appointed traditional cape property close to lots of the things we enjoy about The Cape... Loved the "secret" path to Mac's seafood - many trips to buy the freshest seafood for supper. Also the proximity to Chatham airport for access to the bike path, excellent food at Hangar B and short sightseeing flights... Bonnie was super attentive and responsive to our needs.

This house was perfect - clean and fully stocked with everything our family of four needed during our stay! The deck, outdoor shower, and backyard were wonderful and the house was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, ice cream, and just a short drive to the beaches. We can’t wait to come back!

From the beginning the communication was on point and Bonnie went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed. The house was well stocked, clean and functional for a family of 4 and our boys loved the outdoor shower and playing cars and tag in the backyard. The location was convenient (waking distance) for food and shopping. Oyster Pond Beach and Nantucket Sound beaches were very close and great for young children. Highly recommend and overall a great stay!

We did a quick weekend trip and couldn’t be more happy with our stay. The home was clean & quiet and has everything you need like beach chairs, laundry, HVAC, etc, and check-in was seamless. Bonnie is an amazing property manager and made sure we felt at home.
The location is perfectly situated - a few minutes walk to Mac’s and Pates, walk to downtown Chatham, easy drive/Uber over to Harwichport and Dennisport, and nice drive up to Nauset & Coast Guard beach, all of which we were able to do comfortably over the weekend.
All and all, this is one of the best value stays around Chatham for a small group and a great alternative to the astronomically high summer hotel prices…we’d definitely stay again!

Location was perfect for us! Quiet, nice area to stay. There’s a small back deck to sit and enjoy the weather and stars. Bonnie, the manager, was great to communicate with and very helpful. House was as appeared, You do need to go through the 2nd bedroom to get to the 3rd bedroom. Recommendation to supply toiletries for guests.

This place was welcoming, clean and peaceful. The location was good—especially the proximity to Mac’s Seafood! So delicious and only a very short walk. We went there several times and never even used the kitchen for anything other than a glass of water and microwaved popcorn! It looked well equipped, though!
The property description had mentioned an organic market close by but we couldn’t find it. The bigger beaches are not that far away. One day we drove about 30 minutes to go to Marconi Beach because after arriving at the nearby beach we were told boogie boards were not allowed. But Marconi Beach was beautiful and made up for that initial disappointment!
All in all, this property was well cared for with a great back yard and Bonnie, the host, was welcoming and great! Thank you!

We loved this property for our family vacation for the 4th of July holiday. Our family of four had room to spare. The location is great! A short drive to the shops and baseball field in Chatham and Hardings Beach. The house is also walking distance to Pate’s and Macs two of our favorite places to eat while in Chatham. When staying in to eat the kitchen had plenty of supplies (pots/pans cooking utensils etc.) to cook with. It felt like home! The back deck provided a nice place to enjoy meals outside and the grill was super easy to use. The property has a fairly private side yard and a hammock to use. Perfect for some quiet relaxing time. Both check in and out were simple. The owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and was available for questions throughout the stay. We highly recommend this property and our family will definitely be visiting again!! Thank you Bonnie for making this a great experience for our family!

We had an excellent stay in Bonnie’s house for a girls weekend trip!
She was so responsive and extremely accommodating to any of our questions, as well as gave such great recommendations. We had 5 girls staying in the house and everyone was extremely comfortable in their own space.
Looking back on the weekend some of our favorite times were sitting out on the back porch and enjoying the backyard!
It was a great gem right near downtown, but not in the hustle & bustle. We enjoyed walking to Mac’s for dinner and even walked home from downtown Chatham another.
We are hoping to be back next summer!! Thanks again for your hospitality and recommendations!

From the moment we arrived, the house was absolutely charming. It had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decor that perfectly captured the Cape Cod aesthetic. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a long day of exploring. It was evident that Bonnie had put a lot of thought and care into creating a welcoming space for her guests.
One of the highlights of this rental was the fantastic outdoor space. The backyard was beautifully landscaped, with a well-maintained garden and a lovely deck area.
Location-wise, this rental couldn't have been better. It was conveniently situated close to the beaches, shops, and all the attractions that Chatham has to offer. One of our favorite spots was Oyster Pond, which was just a short drive away.

We were visiting for a wedding weekend and were able to meet up with incoming family on a regular basis. It's a "cozy cottage", but suited us just fine. If the weather hadn't been dramatic, we could have enjoyed the nice backyard too! Bonnie was very helpful all the time.

The owner, Bonnie Leonard, was very easy, thorough & cheerful to communicate/ work with regarding renting property! Upon arrival we were happily greeted with a generous gift bag given, by Bonnie! We rented for weekend wedding in Chatham. Property was located close to wedding and a short 5 minute drive to Hardings beach. Close to downtown and shopping. House was clean, well equipped, nice deck and yard for relaxing after taking outside shower upon return from beach. Bonnie was an excellent owner and very responsive, But really had no issues so contact was mostly just to confirm details. She responded immediately and even helped retrieve an item we left by mistake. I would stay there again and likely will!

This house was so cute. It was very clean and well maintained. The location was fantastic. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The warm outdoor shower was a plus when we returned from the beach. The owner was very communicative in the weeks before our stay and reached out to make sure everything was going well. We didn't have any issues, but I feel like they would have been taken care of quickly if we did. Overall it was a great place to stay!

The cottage was perfect for our needs. It is well stocked, in a great, quiet area and loaded with amenities. As a party of four, we were very comfortable. Bonnie was very communicative and was flexible for our stay. The newly added air conditioning was a huge bonus! We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint, but roomy Cape on the cape. A perfect spot for relaxing and fun. Very close to good food, great beaches, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Coffee every morning on the deck was heavenly. We would not hesitate returning to this home for another visit.

Bonnie’s place was perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, quaint, and very homey. It had some nice touches like books/CDs/DVDs to enjoy on vacation. It had central air which was a major plus as many cape houses do not have this! The location was great as it was close to beaches and downtown. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

What a delight! The house was so comfortable, clean and full of natural light. Outdoor shower was an amazing bonus. We even walked the garden path to Mac's for dinner. Bonnie was incredibly gracious and communication with her was outstanding. Couldn't have asked for a better Cape Cod experience.

We enjoyed our stay and took part in the area beaches, whale watching, sea food, and shopping. Much better than going to a commercialized beach in other states. Using this house and the convenient use of available extras such as beach chairs added to the enjoyment.

Hammock, outside space, comfy beds, and lobster rolls on the way to make a few!
We walked to Mac’s seafood, what a treat!
My son got his 16th wish to go Para Sailing!
As soon as we got there, we wanted to book to come back!
