The property was not in a state to stay in.It was smelling, stinking like dogs lived there. It was not very tidy at all and the owner and manager said it was cleaned that day. I requested a refund and left the property.

We fell in love with Dominica and the warm and welcoming citizens who call the island their home. Steve and Patti have made this island their home and they treasure the natural beauty of the land and sea. Their knowledge of the local hikes, dives and restaurants made our trip a great adventure. This apartment is well appointed and perfectly located for the traveler that wants to explore the island and experience the gracious culture. Clean and spacious, but the best part is the patio where we greeted each morning with a cup of local coffee and enjoyed the view of the ocean. We will return.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Verde in Salisbury and this was our second vacation staying there. Patti and Steve, our hosts, couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. The apartment is lovely and there is a breeze in the apartment and on the covered patio outside the apartment. What a great way to relax, unwind, have a few drinks and watch the beautiful sunsets. There is a magnificent view of the surrounding land and ocean. There are two hammocks, lounges, chairs and a table to have dinner outdoors. There are two t.v.'s, but we must admit we never turned them on. There is so much to do and explore on the island. There are plenty of fans in the apartment if you want them. We found the bed very comfortable. The apartment is clean and the kitchen is very accommodating in preparing meals. The apartment has everything you need including a washer and a clothesline to hang clothes. It is in a nice, safe neighborhood. In fact, the whole island is very safe and we always felt very comfortable wherever we were. The islanders are very friendly and helpful. Connie's is right on the beach and is one of our favorite places for lunch and swimming. This year we also enjoyed Carnival. What an experience!
