The location was convenient for us to walk into town and to.Barter Books, supermarkets etc
I didn’t enjoy walking up 4 flights of stairs to get to our room - I know that it’s an older style terrace house, but it didn’t occur to me to check first the access to the twin room requested. I wouldn’t have minded if there was a luggage elevator to transport our suitcases to the top floor.
The bed heads were rickety - and uncomfortably hard - moving and creaking every time that we moved in bed. We had to place rolled up hand towels to stabilise the bed heads against the wall.
There was a fire escape access door in our room that was permanently illuminated by a green safety light, which cast a green glow that I found disturbing - I slept badly both nights.

We enjoyed the company of the host Darren… he was entertaining, engaging and very helpful. The pre visit instructions were useful and probably the most comprehensive we’ve seen! Parking was easy, free and very convenient.
Our room (no 3) was lovely a good size and with a nice view to the front of the property.
EveAnna is convenient for the nice market town of Alnwick… we walked into the town for dinner on both nights of our stay and it was a 10-15 mins stroll depending where you went.
Breakfast was good with northern ‘doorstep’ toast. Set you up for the day. The non cooked items are self service (as I was gently reminded by Darren when seeking toast 😊😁). The fridge provided in the room was helpful.
All in all a really good hotel… would recommend highly!

The room was spacious, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. The host thought of everything with the room being supplied with all the Toiletry essentials and coffee station.

I felt like the communication with them before hand was wonderful. Everything was written as far as expectations, rules, parking, key retrieval, breakfast times, etc. they welcomed us there and were so nice and friendly.
The only thing that could be improved was the shower. It kept getting very hot for a few minutes and then went cold only to repeat the same thing during my quick shower.

The property was ideally located to the town centre , parking available on side road next to the property . Booking in was easy with all relevant details to hand . the B & B was clean and our room was to the back of the property and quiet . The staff were attentive and had good knowledge of the local area .

The female staff member on the breakfast shift was great, very chatty and helpful and the breakfast was amazing.
The decor was a little aged but clean.

Communication and instructions from Darren were excellent. We liked being able to enter the property and access our room independently. The room was very comfortable and cosy. It was particularly nice to have a fridge.
Breakfast was excellent in very pleasant room. Cafetiere coffee we made ourselves was a bonus. Coffee in hotels is frequently poor. Parking at the back of the terrace was helpful.
Excellent location for Alnwick Castle and Garden which are superb.
Lidl was very close by.
With the window open there was some noise from staff in yard.
Shower cubicle was rather small.

The history of the building and the location.
The stairs (3 flights) were a little challenging for my elderly sister. Probably should’ve asked for accommodation on a lower floor. Wasn’t aware it was 3 stories high!

Ensuiye slightly smaller than I expected. No problem for us but a larger person would be a tight fit in the showers.

My first visit to Northumberland. Instructions on arrival were very good. The room was good for my needs and very clean. Breakfast had a wide selection of foods. It was good to start the day with a friendly smile and full tummy.
Gave me a good base to explore the area.
No problems with parking at the house,always found a space on return.
The mattress on the bed was a bit soft and I was able to feel the spring when turning over. But this is my view and I'm used to a very firm mattress at home. Still had a good sleep though.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable
There was a box on the ceiling with a green light on it so in the night you expect it to be dark but this green light just shone the room up so that was annoying as I didn’t have much sleep

Eveanne is in a great location being within walking distance of the Town Centre, Alnwick Castle and Gardens plus free parking. The accommodation was lovely, Rm 3 was a large spacious room with an en suite shower and lots of little extras. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Darren was a great Host, all in all, a wonderful stay throughout and would definitely stay again
