Many little details were really thought out! We were staying in the middle house no 2 with river view. Air heater/conditioner was really good to have and Illy coffee machine! House is small, but everything can be found what's needed, also hosts Vita& Maris come quite often and support with any additional needs.

Prepare yourself for late evening mosquito attack! And some noise from the street. Also there are 3 houses in the area, so some people are always around.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Car could be parked by the cottage to ease packing. Dog friendly. Modern and clean kitchen and bathroom. Modern scandinavian decor.

Nice calm location (if you don't mind cars' noise). Bit far (if walking) from centre/sea, but easy to access everything by car, taxi or public transport. There is clean river for nice swim and many fishes to catch. Bring fishing rod and repellent for mosquitos! :) Nicely equipped kitchen. Grill and table outside. Separate bedrooms and air conditioning is what we liked. You still feel private while there are people in other 2 cottages. Would consider this place for accommodation in Jūrmala next time.

No space to keep your clothes - need to install (more/bigger) shelves, hooks to hang clothes. You always have to walk over your luggage. In beginning sheets smelled not fresh. But this was solved by bringing another ones. Would suggest to switch laundry detergent to more fragrant one or simply wash in higher temperature. For 5 nights only 1 towel per person and only 1 kitchen towel is not enough. If you have tall people in company, avoid house with garden view - has low door frames. Other 2 houses (with river view) are safe for tall people :)

Very nice place - close to Jurmala center and in the meantime far from the city hectic, exactly on the River side, all needed and more was there, hosts are very helpful, really very very pleasant stay with opportunity to detach from reality. Separate huge THANKS - for the Sauna, real, wooden - wow!

Everything amazing.

What we liked: - The hosts. A very friendly family. The man gave us some useful hints regarding locations worth visiting, and they were really keen to help and tell more about Jurmala and the region. - The cleaning was done - there was no hair or smth. like that on the floor. Also the kitchen and the beds were clean. - The view on the river was marvellous. - Check-in and check-out were really simple to do.

What we didn't like: - What I will tell, was our subjective experience, I guess. We were there in late September, and it's Latvia, so it was really cold outside. It was cold in the cottage. Yes, we had 2 radiators - 1 for every room - and a powerful air conditioner, so after a couple of hours it became better, but since the cottage is small, the air got very dry soon. So at the end it was not really possible to combine warmness and fresh air, and for our small child the night was hard. - I am not sure if the floor was cleaned with water, or just with the vacuum cleaner, because there was a layer of brown dust on the floor, and we found yellow spots under the toilet.

Absolutely amazing accomodation - river view, small but lovely and comfy wooden cottage. Comfortable beds, conditioner, grill outside and, of course, fresh seaside air. The host gave us some tips what to visit in Jurmala, he recommended some places to eat also. We will definately come back next season.

The cottage by the river was comfy & very peaceful (beautiful view on nature, with birds, dragonflies, fishes). You can go swimming, sunbathing, fishing in the river ... There is also a boat & everything you need. The neighbors were nice & quiet. A bus stop to Jurmala is located nearby, so you can even go there without a car. The owners were very kind, easy going & helpful, they indicated us a lot of good tips & latvian products. Our journey was so restful. Thank you !
