What a cool concept of a hotel! Everything is super modern, the room is high-tech with audio, video and lights perfect set for a super comfortable stay (I am a bit fan of gadgets and this room had it all, colourful lights, smart TV and surround sound for your music) The bed is amazingly comfortable and noise levels are very low taking in to account that we were in Antwerp for a Madonna concert and the hotel was packed with fans. The reception area has a great self-service concept, with lots of snacks, drinks and prepare yourself meals (like pizzas on a proper little oven) for the guest and the staff was super attentive and kind. Location can’t be beaten, right in front of the station. I highly recommend A-stay!

Sound hotel with very friendly helpful staff, everything is card only and self service, can't rate the breakfast as I didn't have any, but a pleasant place to stay, with a safe feeling, which is always welcome.

We were able to regulate the room aircon 18c and above. It was nice and cool in the room. The beds were very comfy. The shower was easy to regulate. The room lights, blinds, and temp was all regulated through the TV. It was very easy to use.

The shower water leaked into the toilet area.

It was too hot. no window to open for free air. AC was not cooling the room at 18 degrees

Located right at Central train station. Very convenient to come in/get out the city, and use it as a base camp for day trips (Ghent, Bruges,etc). Also all major attractions are within walking distance. The hotel shows a new concept. Looks techy and morden. Staff (called Locals，not sure why) were super friendly and helpful. Will recommend and stay again.

They use paid lockers as luggage storage instead of some storage space/room. And we were told they run out of lockers upon arrival ! (I wish I was told that when I called asking for storing luggage ). So we had to go to the train station lockers.

Superb location and friendly staff. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There was lots of space for luggage and leg room. Early booking allowed for a fair price that was well deserved. The self service cafe in the entrance is well stocked for a night in as well.

It is a card only establishment, including the cafe and tax payments but they state it on the page. They also request an extra 5 euros per hour for early checkin even if it is only for an hour but no pay back for early checkout. The bathroomstalls are almost see through. Very awkward.

Location close to Central Station and City Center, Hotel clean, simple and hip, looks like an older Hotel that recently got renewed or maybe newly build, Staff at Check-In and Check-Out super friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Couln’t turn off the AC when I got back to the room at a pretty late hour. I called reception and immediately got Help also friendly (works over the TV) super simple actually but you gotta know… A lot of Doors especially around the Elevater/Staircase/Gym etc. had Signs that were a bit confusing, Reception was called Playground, had to figure that out but was not an issue or something bad : )

High tech, clean hotel at the heart of the city.

I've chosen this hotel as it stated that it has private parking. Well it does have, but it is quite expensive and I didn't know it until I got a reply to my request for a parking spot. Within walking distance, there are a few parking areas quite cheaper. The breakfast is OK, but could be better. The room is a little bit chilly during the night and you only get one thin duvet which doesn't help much.

we’ve been given room on the top floor which was great as we had am amazing view over the train station! HOWEVER in the room few things were not working - air conditioning, the jaluzzi (only on 1 window, another one was broken), also the touch screen for the room control wasnt reacting immediately to the commands we were giving it, it was with delay which js annoying especially when we needed the lights, but the worst happened early in the morning (4-5am) all of a sudden the room started smell like we were in the middle of a bakery - bread, croassant.. i mean its amazing smell but not in the middle of the night… this imacted our overall rest since the smell was so strong it was impossible to fell asleep (given there is no way to open the window and airco wasnt working either…)… definitely there is a huge issue with ventilation… so be ready..

The toilet has glass and you can here everything, might not be so comfortable if you are travelling with friends. The breakfast had not so much variety, specially after nine, many things were already gone

Very modern hotel, close to train station and central Antwerp. Comfortable communal areas.

Whilst the “serve yourself” idea is a good one, all to often the equipment needed explanation or fixing (cleaning or replenishing).

Good size twin room, clean, comfortable bedding and the rate per night was very reasonable. I knew on booking what the shower/toilet situation was from looking at the photos, it would be a bit intimate for some if sharing with a friend as others have commented, but the shower pressure was great and I appreciated the rain water shower head. It is a great location next to the central station and only a 10-15 min walk to the main part of Antwerp or you can easily catch a tram. I found the room quiet. The staff at the front desk were helpful. I don’t really think all the tech controls are necessary but they worked fine in my room. I would certainly stay here again if I find myself back in Antwerp.

You have to pay for everything that would normally come complimentary in traditional hotels - tea or coffee was at least €2.40 a cup and you have to go down to the lobby to make it as no facilities in the room. Even to buy a little basic sewing kit was €.50 which is a bit ridiculous - I guess this is how they can keep the room rate cheaper. Would prefer they offered a password protected, secure wifi network.

Super close to a car park, the train station and the beautiful zoo. Room was lovely. Modern and comfy at the same time.Loved the Chromecast feature!

The blind system was fun but a little annoying lol
