The staff is wonderful and make sure you are well taken care of. The beach is beautiful.
The “travel club” people are relentless in trying to sell you their club which is like a time share. They roam around looking to talk to you all the time.

Ver bad service
Lack of customer service, they were sanding the walls of the hallway, power outtage, food wasn’t all that great

It was beautiful and clean
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

Great location, facilities, customer service, breakfast, beach..
Our room was upgraded to a room that had the roof leaking water to the floor and practically covered 50% of the flooring especially around the bed where i fell in the morning.

Room size was great, loved the location of our room right outside the pool. Gym & Spa was wonderful. The bed was comfy & the decor in the room was nice. The staff were always kind & friendly. Overall it’s a nice resort.
The liquor selection wasn’t great. Disappointed as we didn’t care for their liquor. More American liquor & beer would have been nice & we would have paid for premium alcohol. Food was ok (definitely didn’t gain any weight while on vacation. I saw some cross contamination at the snack grill, with chicken & hamburger meat over near Helios. The toilet room only has a frosted glass door with zero privacy as the door was open at the top & bottom.

This was an adult-only hotel which was wonderful, and peaceful, and the staff was excellent. Breakfast and lunch options were fantastic- all-inclusive. The alcoholic beverages included top-shelf liquors and amazing mixed drinks. The room was nice but did not have a pool view as we had requested. There is no elevator.
There were many specialty restaurants but is was hard to get reservations. Dinner was not as good as breakfast and lunch. We are vegetarian and there were almost no options for us, except in the Indian restaurant and it was hard to get a reservation.

The staff were very welcoming, the location was great and close to the beach.
The mesh door screen needs to be replaced. Mosquitoes and bugs were still coming through the ripped mesh. should be a way to connect it spits closed.

They really stuck to the adults only mantra. Having access to the entire resort area restaurants and entertainment
The nagging salesmen in the hotel and on the beach itself. Everyday someone gets in your face trying to sell you something.

The hotel staff is genuinely friendly and happy and is willing to go the extra mile.
The beach and pool sites are clean and waiters or other staff are always in waving distance if not coming to you directly.
The hotel area is hughe and maintained very well.
If you are a foodie, then you will not be disappointed by the various selections and themes those restaurants have to offer.
The price does not entirely reflect the value of what you get. I had similarly good experiences for better budget.
Even though it states all inclusive, a lot of extra perks need to be procured and the hotel ensures you will be confronted with such decisions.
At arrival they wanted to give us an upgrade with a pool side view, however all that could be seen were other buildings and the noisy street outside the hotel. So we refused and took the longer walk (5 - 10 min) from the Garden View Area.
Some restaurants are announced with show cooking, but the term "show" seems to be misleading. Yes the chef showed us how he cooks but it was not a "show".

the restaurants are fantastic, and the room service is good too
nothing everything is fantastic

All the restaurants at the TRS are very good. The a la carte food is delicious and the drinks are great as well. Fitness center is spacious and has everything one would need.
Some of the barmen are always expecting a tip so they treat you well at first and if they see no tip, they change abruptly. This shouldn't be like that as exceptional service should be there always.

adequate
At registration the navigator told me that Booking.com
had me for 1 adult! I know that I booked the standard 2
adults. The 2 confirmation emails sent to me on the day
that I booked somehow disappeared from my phone.
To summarize, I was forced to pay an additional $530
from Expedia so that my guest could stay with me. 🤯
I am extremely upset w/ Booking.com because of this
situation that was made in error on their part! 😡

The staff(primarily the butlers) were so patience, attentive & helpful in everyday they could be. Friendly and always looking to make the stay more enjoyable

The staff is helpful and kind. We did not have any problem with them at all. At the check-in desk there was always somebody to help you out.
The waiters in the restaurants (males) are very bored and unfriendly. The women waiters are always smiling ad they are more friendly
The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the cleaning service is excellent. The whole resort is very nice kept clean and organized.
The food is average. Don't expect excellent food. The best part with Turquesa, that you can access all the Palladium Bavaro and Palladium Palace restaurants & pools, bars, beach as well.
Best option for breakfast: Torres
Best option for lunch: Torres or Helios
Best option for dinner a la carte: Kusko & Sumptuori
Best option for dinner buffet: La Catedral (crazy amount of food options)
The most quite pools are at the ones next to the buildings, you can always find towels and long chairs.
The best pool is the Secret Pool.
On the beach people are "reserving" the long chairs in the morning by putting their towels on it. Don't bother this as the signs clearly says you cannot reserve a long chair. So just occupy anything you find (with no people sitting on it).
Few tips and tricks:
-There is one ATM machine in the Palladium Palace lounge which only gives Dominican pesos (200s and 1000s) with a fixed charge of 300 pesos.
-Don't buy trips from the people on the beach (they will rip you off, or just try to negotiate very hard with them)
-New 20's party every Wednesday at the secret pool is so much fun
Footnote: Best butlers (very kind): Marggie and Ama in building 53 ;)
- You are kind expected to tip everyone
- Waiters are not really friendly
- The food is average
- The shops in the resorts are super expensive (also no return policy)

The main specialty restaurant did not meet my expectations.

Beautiful grounds, the swim up rooms were very nice. Staff was so helpful and made us feel at home. Shout out to our butler Norris, server Deloris & shuttle driver Francisco—they were the best!
The rooms could use some updating and minor maintenance. It was mostly little things like toilet flushing issues, makeup mirror burned out, curtains not closing completely. The rooms are older but still nice and wouldn’t prevent me from staying there again.

Punta Cana is a great place. Lovely location indeed. The lunch and in suite service is wonderful. We really appreciated the convenience of ordering straight to our room from our cell phones. There’s a “private pool”.
I called security to my room for an issue that my girlfriend and I were having ( we were not loud nor did we damage anything or get physical ). My girlfriend is German and I’m American . I just wanted assistance with calming her down during a heated argument but unfortunately at the end of it we both eventually were escorted Off of the hotel premises by the guest service coordinator and security. It was highly embarrassing. I was a guest and only called for help! They told us that it was policy to kick us out of the hotel with no refund because of inadequate behavior and we were told that we can’t be together on the property and they have to keep us separate at all times. I never got angry or acted out of sorts in this situation. They were very strict and made us sign warning papers and all but within an hour we both sat down together in the lobby of TRS and talked about it for about a half-hour. My girlfriend and I then left together in a taxi (something the “security policy” shouldn’t have allowed”. I paid $660 for two nights and to me it was a waste. It was my reservation and I only wanted to call someone from staff for help with calming my girlfriend. She just started a new pain medication for kidney stones and I told them that they can ask her what the medications were because I forgot the name of the prescription. But like I said before; in the we had to pack and leave to find a new place to stay. I’m not blaming the hotel but I am saying that they have a poor policy and we should’ve had another chance to show security that we were calm and capable of behaving amongst the rest of the guests. I admit, I probably didn’t have to call anyone to the room in the first place but I just got overwhelmed with my girlfriend and didn’t want to argue or escalate the situation. At the end of the day we didn’t bother anyone and I only called for help from staff! But the staff turned it into an investigation.

I would like to recognize Benito cooking the barbecue everyday, very pleasant, respectful, professional and everything was delicious.
Jonathan, the chef at Lola Restaurant, amazing food.
Love the classes with Jonathan the instructor.
The girls working at the beach did a great job!!, Erin, Anyi, Dolores at the main pool.
Everything amazing, the place, the people, nice restaurants, Lola is the best to have dinner, bad experience at Capricho restaurant, the food was not cooked and make us sick.
