The view from our room of the mountains was amazing. We arrived late and we're still made to feel welcome. Overall, a welcoming and beautiful place!

Check in was smooth so welcoming from the first second of when I entered this property. I was early but my room took only 15 minutes. And once I entered room nr 201 , ohhhh myyy . The view took my breath away. Bathroom newly furnished with working window, comfortable bath tub, nicely and newy designed bathroom .
We had a beautiful half round shaped balcony, petunias and mountains flowers were nicely arranged in the rooms windows. And above all of all not to forget to mention the Restaurant. Really high end ,I recommend oy to those who really care where they stay ,ypu will truly enjoy their hospitality

Place was a bit run down. Felt old. Does not feel like. 5 star hotel. Service was ok. I had to figure out most of my way around.

Good breakfast and position of the hotel in the center . Staff very kind and has tried to help us in all our requests (restaurant booking) . Very nice dehor in the cottage sides and in the breakfast terrace .
We travel for work in the area and we often stop at hotels resorts and SPA in the area.
The room was in the main building and we found it not at the level of other hotels in Chamonix for same price point we have been before .
More than 300 € for a standard room with view on the street (in higher floors it was almost at street level with people passing by which could look into the room and car lights at night were quite disturbing too) , so we had to keep curtain closed for privacy). At 100 m from building there is the railway passage with trains going back and forth with related noise and vibrations (noise only at 3rd floor, noise and vibration at 1st floor).
What we found particularly irritating was that on the website it was not clear the type of room for the price because there are a lot of pics of rooms with wood etc.. in cottage style , while the actual room (at 368E breakfast excluded) was a modern room, not so big and I am not sure there are pics of that type of room in the pics on website, so we did not expect to be given a completely different type of room respect the majority of pics in the descriprion) .
Concerning the SPA , it can't be accessed from inside the building but it is a separate building and even if ther is the change room ,it is not very practical when you finish because you have to go back to main building passing from outside with wet hair . The water of the big swimming pool going from inside to outside was a bit cold so not ideally to go out in winter or with colder weather (we have been in pools like this in Courmayeur at same price and both the water temperature and the ambient temperature in pool was higher enough to bathe outside with snow coming down). The Jacuzi is small and overly clorathed , leaving very dry skin and an unpleasant smell on skin.
Again this complaints are most due to the comparison to other similar resorts with same services on same area with same price point .Maybe were not lucky with this travel.

Very stylish and comfortable. Short walk into town for shops and restaurants. Access to ski slopes by hotel minibus. V close to ski hire shop. Delivery of skis and boots direct to and from hotel to save all that carrying. excellent arrangement.
No complaints

very nice rooms. polite staff. facilities could get improved. gym room too basic, swimming pool not that worm, breakfast at la ferment not paying enough attention to detail for eg vacuuming while people eating. Also the second time we are at the restaurant carrier the waiting was really long. the starters and the main courses came almost after 1 h.
very nice staff, location and atmosphere

Very romantic. Our room was very nice, elegant and tastefully decorated, very friendly staff, perfect location, surrounded by cosy wooden houses.
The Michelin restaurant didn't meet our expectations, disappointed about the neutral flavours, the chef should cook more inspirational dishes.

beautiful hotel, fabulous spa and pool, excellent cuisine
Most staff are really kind and friendly, especially the breakfast and restaurant teams (both restaurants), the transfer/chauffeur team and the spa staff. All are wonderful.
1. Breakfast is v poor.. €25 for a rather simple offer: pre-cooked scrambled eggs and bacon on order and further €7 (!!) sur-charge for poached and fried eggs. Covid creates a need to simplify and minimise people contact at a buffet, but this charging extras for a fried egg is frankly not on.
2. The reception team can come across as rather distant, superior and a bit ‘moody’. The kind of situation where as a guest it feels like you have to work hard to ‘warm them up’ and then things move along well. On one occasion had to complain directly for the negative reaction and attitude towards a perfectly legitimate enquiry to change an appointment.
3. lovely room in the main hotel, however bad smell of drains during the nights. Technical team did try to fix it and we were offered to change rooms for the last night, but by that stage too much hassle to move.

This was the best choice after "roughing it" from hut to hut on the Tour du Mont Blanc. It's beautiful, clean, the beds are SO comfy, and I practically lived in the hot tub. I didn't try the dinner, but breakfast in bed was DIVINE.

Beautiful rooms, location. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was beyond amazing. Food, service, ambience.

Not much. Staff were nice.
Hotel very tired and in dire need of upgrading. Very expensive for what you received. Felt grubby and sticky and very dark surfaces were depressing. Ashtrays and matches in the two rooms we had and on every table outside. Cigarette burn on basin surface despite insisting non smoking! Carpets looked awful in the first room desperately need replacing. Think hotel coasts on its restaurant but room service took over an hour. Breakfast in room was minimal. Not worth a quarter of what we paid.
