Great facilities and location! Loved the huge kitchen, common areas inside and outside! The terrace was fantastic outside as well. They also provide free wine and chips every night at 6pm and they provide a little breakfast for free from 8am-10am (bread with jam, cereal, pot coffee). Rooms a little small but the air con was fantastic! Whilst they don’t provide activities etc, you’re always in the same space as others and it’s so easy to strike up conversations with other travellers. Both the men and women on staff were kind and gave me advice on things to do. Reading other reviews about the staff, I realised that some travellers were rude or abrupt with the staff (no common courtesy). If you’re generally a nice human being with a smile, they’ll love you! Absolutely recommend this place! Met some incredible humans and made friends with the team there!

Thé social areas were great and there was lots of them. The staff were super friendly. It was really easy to make friends

I thought the hostel was a bit expensive as it is just a hostel but cost the same as a hotel. Maybe more social nights could be arranged

The property was in a good location in Nice, a walk away from most of the main attractions in the city. The staff made sure that there would be a bottom bed available for me after notifying them that my flight had been severely delayed (Wizz Air!). I didn’t use them but there are metal cages where you can padlock your luggage shut in order to avoid theft and protect your goods.

Apart from the obvious negatives related to hostels, the beds felt like you were sleeping on the floor, however, for the price compared to other locations in the region. This is the only negative of my experience.

Better value for money than most of rest of Nice, though still not cheap. Location was very central with easy walking or tram access to the beach or to the old town and very close to the train station

Quite cramped room and had issues with the shower causing leaks below which needed to be fixed. Wifi was not great.

Amaizng stay, amazing people, awesome staff- had to leave early and they even gave me my money back! I loved it and would recommend to anyone.

I was pleasantly surprised by this room, I wasn’t expecting much but the beds where clean, had some lovely people in the room and the shared facilities where decent. The wifi was good when it was working

The staff where a bit rude and we had issues with rooms not being cleaned. Was forced to make my own bed because of a mistake they made.

Very social place, so if you’re travelling alone, its the best!! Very good location, 1 minute walk do the train station and 15 minute walk to the beach. Free breakfast in the morning and wine & chips after 6PM, not special, but its free and its very nice from the staff. Staff is also really friendly and helpful, especially the manager (i think it was him but im not quite sure). I met the best people here, so they made it even better. Im definitely not gonna forget about Antares!

Rooms were really tiny and you could hear everything. Bathrooms were a little poor, but it was still okay. They dont accepts cards! So i had to find an ATM before i could go in, i think they should accept them.

Nice staff, very central, cheap, ideal for a short stay.

Noisy at times (construction work right I front of the hotel) very small showers.

Many social areas made it easy to talk to travellers, either in small groups or across a larger group of many guests.

It was a bit basic, for example there was only a shared kitchen, and no opportunity of eating food inside the hostel that you haven't cooked for yourself, or brought in as a take away

Location Staff

Reception guy who was in the evening/night doesn't helped with taxi, simply told that it is possible to find taxi near train station. However no taxi at night. This accident spoiled quite good impression about hostel
