Situated in Porto, this lovely condo for £113 per night is a great choice for your next trip. About the apartment Centrally located in a quiet square, the flat is within walking distance to most of Porto landmarks, with easy access to major transportation lines. The building has been completely renovated in 2014 to the highest standard, providing all the comfort of a modern house while maintaining its beautiful original features, such as its staircase or its windows in traditional Portuguese style. The flat comfortably accommodates 6 people and it’s your perfect home away. Whether you are a family with children or a group of friends looking for a home away, this is a place you’ll be looking forward to come back to after a day out in the town. With 125 square meters, the flat occupies the entire 3rd floor of the building. The flat is very bright, with plenty of natural light coming from windows on three sides. The flat has two bedrooms, one master bedroom, double bed and on-suite bathroom, and another bedroom also with a double bed. There is a second complete bathroom. There is also a charming mezzanine with two single beds that can serve either as a third bedroom (accommodating 2 people) or a relaxing sitting area. A small balcony overlooks the city. Bed linen and towels are provided. The living room is tastefully decorated, including a dining table sitting up to 6 people. There is also a tv and free wi-fi internet throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils necessary for you to prepare your Portuguese inspired meals, or simply prepare breakfast before you head out. Access to the apartment The apartment is located in the heart of the city and easily accessed by all means of transportation. Trindade Station is only 5 minutes walk away, and Sao Bento station is 15 minutes walk away. If you happen to be travelling by car there are parking facilities nearby (50 meters from the flat and open 24/7). I’ll be happy to assist you with that. There is also free street parking from 8 pm to 10:30 am. Interaction with Guests Starting from the very beginning till the end of the stay, guests will be accompanied. We’ll personally greet you at the flat and take the time to explain how everything works, what’s around in the neighborhood and also give you suggestions and advice for you to enjoy our city to the most. About Porto Overlooking the Douro River, Porto is one of the most ancient European cities. It was born and developed from the northern bank of this river during the Middle Ages. One of the most significant aspects of Porto and its historical centre is its landscape, combining harmony with the urban structure and presenting a frame of rare beauty. The city was classified as World Heritage by UNESCO in 1996. When discovering Porto, you will find many surprises. Besides its welcoming and historical environment, Porto is also contemporary and artistic. This is shown not only in the streets, architecture, monuments and museums but also in the terraces, restaurants, nightlife and shopping areas. We look forward to welcoming you! Filomena and Ana Municipal Tourist tax According to the Municipal Porto law, all the reservations after the 1 st of March 2018, will have a Municipal Tourist Tax of 2€ per overnight stay and per person older than 13 years, up to a maximun total value of 14€ (Seven straight nights per overnight stay/person). This value is not included in the booking costs and it will be charged separately ( in cash)

We rented the apartment from October 2 to October 6 2023. The location was great - a lot of restaurants around, close distance to historic places. Our hosts, Filomena and Walter surprised us with very warm welcome, walked us through the apartment explaining everything and suggesting the places to see and restaurants to eat at. Apartment was amazing - very clean and comfortable. It was on the 3rd floor without elevator, but we have managed to walk the stairs being over 70yo. :)

We were visiting Porto for 3 weeks, 10 days in the city and than went out to the beach. This was the perfect location for enjoying the city. Right in the historic downtown area and near shopping, restaurants, and historic sites and parks. Great for walking and no need for a car, really don't bring a car.
The apartment is beautiful and well appointed. Very sunny with lots of windows throughout and a small terrace that two people can sit on and enjoy the city view.
The kitchen is compact with a small refrigerator but easy enough to prepare meals in and has good storage. The pans need some updating and knives need sharpening but the host, Filomena, would probably have replaced had we asked as she is very helpful and accommodating (more on that later). The two bedrooms downstairs are smallish and one has no closet or dresser to put clothes so be prepared to live out of suitcase. The other one has plenty of storage. We did not use the loft but it is quite roomy, but probably best for older children / teens.
Filomena was great to work with before, during and after our stay. She assured me there were grocery stores that carried Gluten free items and when we arrived had a list of where they were located. The day we left she helped arrange a taxi to the airport and provided directions to the driver as we didn't speak Portuguese.
From the airport you can take the metro directly (without a change of lines) to the Apt and get off at the Trinadad stop which is a 5 minute walk. You can easily walk to Gaia and the Port houses across the river or again take the metro.
If you have trouble with stairs or don't want to walk up or down stairs to get to the apt than I would not recommend staying here. There are 3 flights of stairs to get up to the door of the apartment and another flight once inside (see photos). We didn't care (in our mid-60's in good shape) as it just added to our exercise and we loved being on the top floor with all the light and airy feel the apt. has. We would definitely stay here again. And highly recommend Filomina as a host.

What a wonderful place to return to after a day of sightseeing. Two comfortable bedrooms with two bathrooms and an extra loft with two single beds if needed. Host’s Filomena and Walter gave us great tips for places to see and eat. We would definitely stay here again!

The only complaint was the stairs:) and no elevator, which was a bit hard with a child. Other than that, Impeccable!

This location was ideal. We could walk to several attractions without having to take a taxi or Uber. The hosts were very attentive and welcomed us with plenty of information and a nice bottle of wine. We were 2 couples and had very separate sleeping areas which was ideal. We would certainly recommend this place.

This was one of the best places we have stayed in all our travels. Filomena and Walter met us at the property and spent time making sure we knew where everything was and how to use all the appliances. They gave us wonderful recommendations that were spot on! The space is gorgeous and open with lots of privacy and super comfortable seating and bedding. The kitchen was well stocked and the laundry was super handy. The wine was such a lovely touch!! We will absolutely come back!!

Similar to others who have commented on this beautiful apartment, I have only nice things to say about our experience. The apartment is spotless, well maintained and very complete. It has everything one needs to make it a wonderful experience.
For those concerned with parking, there is public parking right next to the apartment which is very reasonably priced (around 12 Eur a day).
Walter and Filomena could not be nicer and do everything in their power to make your stay unforgettable.
Book it without hesitation unless you have mobility problems as there are many stairs.

We had a wonderful stay in Porto. The property was spacious and clean. Despite the central location the property was quiet. The owners were there to greet us on our arrival and were very helpful. We were given lots of tips were to visit and which restaurants to go to. We were very pleased with the apartment and would stay there again.

Fabulous stay in Porto
Filomena's meet and greet is second to none. Communication prior was great so we knew exactly where to go, where to park and what to expect. The apartment is a treat - perfect for 2 couples with everything you might need. Stairs as advertised but easy to negotiate with luggage. Location was ideal - everything we needed within walking distance. We left the car in the car park for 5 days at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended .

The apartment does not have central heat so keep this in mind if you are visiting in the winter. We are from the northern United States and used to the cold, but even with the space heaters it was a bit cold inside. Certainly not a big problem, but something of which you might want to be aware. The bathrooms and showers are nice and the wifi worked well.

The flat was very clean, had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. Filomena was a superb host and helped us work out our surroundings and what we’d like to see whilst visiting. She was also super practical and ensured we had plenty of everything we might need (and very welcoming with a lovely bowl of fruit and delicious bottle of chilled wine on a hot day!)
The apartment is in a quiet area ... apart from the seagulls ;) but there are many lovely places to eat nearby, and it’s ten minutes walk in to the centre of Porto. There are a couple of supermarkets close by and it’s about 2 minutes walk to the metro station. It’s also easy to get here on the metro from the airport.
There are quite a few stairs to get up to the apartment (and some within it) so if you struggle with mobility this flat would probably be more challenging for you...it wasn’t a problem for us at all and we loved being able to see over the rooftops, but just something to be aware of if you need to consider it.
We’d definitely stay here again if we returned and send a huge thank you to our lovely hosts for making us feel so welcome.

Gorgeous Apartment and Gracious Hosts
We absolutely loved our stay in this very clean, modern apartment. After a long drive from Lisbon, Filomena and Walter met us with a friendly, warm greeting. They provided us with so much useful info on attractions, shopping and restaurants, which we really appreciated.
The apartment its self is amazing. We were so comfortable we didn't want to leave! The apartment is bright, well equipped and in a great location. When we make our way back to Porto we will definitely stay again.

Great Apartment in an easy to reach location!
We recently stayed at this apartment and were warmly greeted by the owners who made us feel very welcome along with showing us the various appliances and features of the apartment. The flat is a very short 4 minute walk from the Trindade metro station which itself is directly connected to the Airport via a 25 minute metro ride. We were two adults with two children and the size of the apartment was ideal, it allowed the children to go to sleep without being bothered by lights being on and evening chatter. The bedrooms were all well sized and the kitchen, dining area and living space accommodated us all very comfortably. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this to anyone looking for a comfortable and well sized flat to use as a home base while exploring beautiful Porto. It is important to note that the flat is on the top floor of the building and there isn't an elevator, this was not an issue for us at all but might be for some.

A home away from home
This is a most comfortable flat in a fantastic location. Everything you need is provided. Filomena and Walter are wonderful hosts and gave us lots of information on the town and restaurants. We were even treated to a bottle of wine and fruit on arrival. We can't fault this flat and highly recommend this as the best accommodation in Porto.

A beautiful place to stay in Porto!!
We spent three days in this beautiful top floor very spacious apartment. Filomena was a wonderful host, greeting us when we arrived, and explaining everything about the flat and giving us many suggestions for restaurants, groceries, sights, etc. Her attention to detail could not be missed in the decor and little touches of comfort that made this place truly a delightful home away from home. It was within walking distance to all the sights and close to the metro should anyone decide that walking was too far. Comfortable beds and linens, household items were there for our use. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this flat to anyone visiting Porto.

Beautiful flat and very kind hosts
Our wonderful hosts welcomed us with wine and fruits and kind recommendations. The flat was very spacious with comfortable beds and lots of storage and good heaters that kept us warm during our cold March stay. We did not cook but the kitchen was well equipped. Grocery store is downstairs and good restaurants were close by. And the metro is around the corner with lines that easily goes to the main train station or the airport. Highly recommend and would stay here again if visiting Porto.

A beautiful flat in a very convenient location
An excellent stay in a beautiful, comfortable, and very clean flat. We were met at Trindade station by Filomena's friend who took us to the flat and who showed us everything. The location could not be more convenient, very easy walking distance from Trindade metro station, a direction connection to the Airport and to Campanha station. While the 'sights' could easily be reached on foot, the neighbourhood felt real, with local shops and restaurants very close. Thank you!

Great apartment within walking distance to everything
This apartment was perfect for our family of 4, and the owners were wonderful to us! Our flight had been delayed, and we got into the city very late. Filomena and Walter were so kind, and waited for us at the apartment. They showed us around the place, which is so nicely decorated! There was plenty of room for all of us, and the extra bathroom was great! Wifi worked really well throughout the apartment. We walked to all of the sites in the city without a problem. We chose to stay close to the apartment for dinner, which was easy to do, since there are quite a few nice restaurants right out the apartment door. I highly recommend Tapabento Trindade, which is across the courtyard. The only thing I would recommend to future visitors is that, if you are going during the winter months, make sure you bring some extra warm clothes to snuggle in. Although the apartment had a unit in the main living area, and space heaters in the bedrooms, it still took a little while to warm up, and the extra fuzzy stuff would've helped out. Thank you Filomena and Walter for a lovely stay!!

Gorgeous, comfortable apartment near everything
The apartment is spotlessly clean, lovely and comfortable. Everything in it seems picked with care. The owners greeted us with fruit and port. They spent a good deal of time explaining the ways things work in the apartment and in telling us about local eateries. We were able to walk to most of the Porto sights and the metro was only two minutes away. One note of warning: the building has no lift and the apartment is three flights up. We had no difficulties but some might.
