Wonderful sea view from our bedroom. Lovely rear garden. Good choice for breakfast. Host very welcoming, nothing too much trouble.

Breakfast was very good. Good quality cooked breakfast. Choices for cereal fresh fruit etc. The hosts were very helpful and obligng. The situation superb. Sea views, a great garden. The Coastal footpath literally on the doorstep. Public transport nearby.
A slightly larger shower cubicle would have been good for me.

We really enjoyed our staying at the Miclaran. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. The house is in a very nice area and it has a lovely garden. The room was clean and big enough, we were able to see directly the sea from our window. The breakfast was very good.

A warm welcome, nice room with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast and good advice on anything IOW.
WiFi was a bit sporadic in the room although connected well in the guest lounge.

An amazing breakfast
We estimated that our arrival on our first night would be 9:15 pm. Our host made it very clear in capital letters that checking in after 9:00 pm was not acceptable. This resulted in us having to secure alternate accommodations.
Don't even think of booking this guest house if you are not 100% certain of arriving prior to 9:00 pm.

The owners Sue and Alan were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very well maintained and was very clean throughout. The breakfasts were excellent with good quality food well cooked. Nice garden and outlook.
Room sizes were small, so no dressing table facility. The TV was small and fitted very high so uncomfortable to watch. There was a lot of stairs to climb each time in order to go to the room, which was not good for people with knee problems.

breakfasts always hot and nothing was to much trouble for sue and Alan liked my freedom to come and go as I pleased not having to hand my key in every time I go out Seaview was fantastic tv was good also bed was comfortable
I always say first impressions last but I'm not so sure now to begin with it was like been back at school can't do this do that but as time went on things improved felt as if I had been there before would of been nice if a restaurant had been closer so I could walk to it and have an evening meal

Everything about my stay at The Miclaran was perfect. From the very warm welcome, spotless room, parking on site, to the delicious breakfast and the lovely hosts, Sue and Alan. I could not fault a thing.
There was nothing I didn’t like.

Really good location, extremely clean, good choice for breakfast, access to a well maintained and enclosed garden, ample parking to the front of the premises, friendly and helpful hosts.
Although free Wi-Fi is available, connection very weak in bedrooms.

Our room was beautiful, a double bed and had another single room attached with an ensuite. The view from our room was magnificent and made the trip. The facilities were so clean and tidy all of the time too. Breakfast was fantastic too, lots of options-very accommodating. Alan and Sue were extremely friendly and such lovely hostes. They made us feel really relaxed and comfortable.

WE HAD AN AMAZING STAY WITH ALAN AND SUE NOTHING WAS ANY TROUBLE AT ALL ,,, THE BREAKFAST WAS LUSH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WE WILL NEVER FORGET..... I WOULD HONESTLY SAY THIS IS THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED........... 20/10

Lovely hosts, awesome breakfast, amazing location,couldn't have asked for more. Hosts were very accommodating and nice people. Spent the evenings in their quiet and amazing garden with spectacular views.

The Guest House Providers, Sue and Alan are very welcoming as they provide a professional service with high standard. The room I was offered had a splendid sea and garden view which met my expectation. I appreciate Sue and Alan's hospitality and kindness. The guests are also polite and considerate. I've enjoyed my stay at The Miclaran Guest House.
There is nothing that concerned me.

Breakfast was excellent, owners friendly. Very knowledgeable about the island, ask Sue anything and she will know, loved that Alan always served breakfast with a smile on his face. Great stay and would definitely recommend and will stay again .

I was stay in a single room and unfortunately had opposite me very noisy neighbours all night 😒
