Relaxing and very quiet place which we value

This is the third time I've been in this hotel, that indicates that we are happy with this place.

Enjoyable, relaxing stay. Lovely garden grounds. Very good menu.

Breakfast variety was quite substantial, buffet and cooked meal options. It was nice to be able to eat outside under cover. The service was prompt.

There were a couple of food item shortages but nothing serious.

A very adequate place for a shirt term stay.

My room was very comfortable and there was a pleasant - if slightly ramshackle - outside seating area which was very good given the heat. Huge breakfast.

Good accommodation and food.

The room was a good size with an excellent shower which had a good flow and plenty hot water. The room had a desk, TV and good quality WiFi connection. The chef was excellent and the evening meals and breakfast were a very good quality.

The payment card I had used to reserve the accommodation expired during my travels and I updated it on booking.com and paid for the accommodation two days before arrival. I had to show both my confirmation email to show evidence the payment was made and I even went into my bank account to show the hotel staff the transaction. Despite this they still insisted that payment hadn't been made which somewhat detracted from what had been a good stay.

Excellent relaxing and luxiourious place with friendly staff, I can recommend it anytime

It was a great experience - luxurious room, very friendly personnel, good food, and real value vor money - I can recommend it to anybody and I would go back there. Breakfast includes everything, cereal, yoghurt, fresh juice, bacon, sauages, eggs etc.

The Clarice House is warmly reccomended for business travellers, apart from their poor Wifi.

The Clarice House is comfortable and relaxing place with a beutiful garden. Breakfast is good and they serve lunch and dinner.

The Wifi is limited to the restaurant and lobby. The staff were a bit reserved and could improve on customer service.

Very Nice stay, Clarice House is a place I hightly recommand

- Nice lanscape and location - Nice and very friendly staff (Jack, Winny, Aloys, the massaï guard in the gate, Doris, ...) - Nice rooms - Very clean rooms - Good food

- Power cut-off; - smell of new paint - bathrobe missing during 3 days

I am a traveler and I would go back there, FOR SURE !

I manage to stay in the most special ROOM in the property… the owners room ! and I was AMUSED ! i struggled to get a room in Kisumu and I had no good expectations ! this place surprised me …

it was a little bit far from the center… but not much !

Very good

Calm area and a very nice garden. The staff was very flexibel and a very late arrival in the middle of the night was no problem.

The room was a little small, but sufficient for our stay.

The perfect place to stay in Kisumu.

Nothing, everything was perfect

The friendly staff, everybody was smiling en helpful. The Clarice House is the place to be in Kisumu. See you next year.

Breakfast was excellent - really fine kitchen. And -important for Europeans- all was well cooked and clean.

In my room the wifi was too wek to use. I recommend them to add a repeater (WIFI extender) at the back of their property.
