Sunny Bungalow stay

Nice and relaxing island with clean white beach no garbage anywhere. The price is low compared other places on the island.

According to description is should be a luxurious bungalow, instead it was a very simple cottage. It should also have a view to a garden but the view was to a walking path.

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft in zentraler Lage

Zentrale Lage am Pier. Nette Bungalows, sehr geräumig. Ruhig und freundliches Personal.Empfehlenswert. 30 min. Fußmarsch zum Sunset Beach lohnt sich absolut!!

Leider kein AC, aber nicht schlimm. Leber bietet kein Frühstück an, auch nicht schlimm. Tickets für Boot nur an einem kleinen Office am Strand. Bustickets nur online nicht vor Ort buchbar.

Great value peaceful rustic bungalows

I stayed at Sunny Bungalows for a week in a rustic bungalow and loved it. The bed was comfortable, the mosquito net did it's job perfectly and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The garden bungalow was perfect, peaceful and also surprisingly quiet! The walk to the sea was 1min and there were loungers there to sit on overlooking the sea. There is a path to Sunset Beach right behind the bungalows and I loved that it was far enough away from all the hostels/restaurants in the middle of the bay, but also only a short walk to reach them. The info they provide in each bungalow on the whole island and restaurants etc is very helpful. As is the owner! He was super friendly and could assist with many things. I had already bought my ferry ticket to the island before booking the bungalows so didn't realise that Island Speed Ferry is the only one that doesn't stop at Eden Pier - next door to these bungalows :( I was delighted to avoid a 30min beach walk with my bags as Sunnys sent the little speed boat to collect me from Paradise Pier! They also took me back there when I was leaving. I highly recommend staying here. It is great value for money.

Très bien pour une nuit

Petite cabane individuelle avec tout nécessaire. On était très bien accueilli. De l'eau potable à volonté c'est un grand plus!

Les oreillers pas très confortables. J'ai eu l'impression de dormir sur un caillou.

Exceptional

I really enjoyed my stay here. Room and bathroom are spacious and clean. It's away from the beach so very quiet and the veranda to chill out is perfect. They give you a 20 liter water to refill your bottles. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Just 1 minute walk from the Buva Sea pier Would absolutely stay here again.

Spacious room, big bed with mosquito net Kettle with coffee, a tank of drinking water to fill your bottles Sitting area which is front of the room is lovely with plants, like in a little garden Hot shower is a bonus

Wifi is weak, but you can get it from any other restaurants when you eat or drink, so no problem I had bedbug problem but they changed sheets and didn't have any more

The rates were much cheaper, so extra happy🙂 One rainny day with wind and everything, but still we swam Not too hot but warm eough to swim, perfect weather

nice place

Koh rong is a quiet place, with beautiful beach. the bungalow was okay even though the power was off in the bathroom. water refill on the balcony was nice.

it’s an island so it’s always moist, the fan on the bedroom is great but when the heat is very high everything stays wet. it’s a bit expensive but I guess it’s the price to pay for a few days on an island

the bungalow is good value for the price. The room was clean and it’s almost on the beach.

The bar/reception is a bit run down. The sun beds are broken. No umbrellas or shade. The staff are uninterested but busy running other businesses.

lovely place to stay

-free drinking water available at all times -beach towels and bathroom towels both provided -place was clean and there weren’t many bugs which you might expect in a place like this -good location just a short walk from lots of restaurants and bars along the beach -cheap beers -staff helped us book our ferry back and gave us recommendations on where to go on the island

no wifi or signal but not a huge issue as you can just walk down the beach to find some

A great stay on Saracen Bay

Sunny Bungalows is a small establishment with only 6 bungalows right on Saracen Bay. Quiet location but with many beachside dining choices nearby. The bungalows were just off the beach with a nice garden out front. The bungalows were neat & tidy with a little balcony out front with seating for 2. Each bungalow had its own extra large bottle of water to refill your own bottles with. These bungalows only had a fan but that was sufficient to keep the room at a pleasant temperature. There was tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Rooms were cleaned daily & you were provided with fresh towels - 2 for the bathroom & 2 for the beach. Staff were friendly & helpful & were busy maintaining the bungalows. They also had their own sun lounges on the beach.

The restaurant/cafe wasn't open so you had to go to other nearby places for breakfast but they had cold drinks for sale. No WiFi.

This was very nice. Very close to Eden pier, just on the left as you come off the pier, which was very convenient. The wifi was not always good.

Simple bungalows in a good location

+ nice and helpful owner + drinking water was provided + location: in the heart of Saracen Bay with good connections to Lazy and Sunset beach + helpful information provided after booking was made (just the info was missing that there are no streets on the island and you have to carry your luggage along the beach)

- cleaniness of the bungalow (a lot of dust) - open-style bungalow (we had a cockroach every day in the bath-room) - pretty expensive for what was offered - welcome brochure should be updated

Very cool people and nice place to stay. If we asked for something they always helped us and we had really cool conversations with the team. Great location at the bay and also to explore the Island. Cheapest beer on the island at the Bar ;)

Superb

The location was good we were close enough to all the amenities but nice and quiet on a night when you went to sleep. The accommodation was good especially having an en suite bathroom as most places on the island you have to walk outside, not good if you have to go in the night

Nothing to complain about. We were only there a few days no linen or towels were changed so might be an issue if you stayed longer

Cozy one bungalow on first line.

Cozy one bungalow on first line. Simple, but effective, have everything - 18L drinking water, hot water, fan, veranda, mosquito net and kettle. Love this place, but at evening I prefer more light in room, but current light makes evening more romantic.

Floor was wobbly and creaky, no breakfast available, not so regular cleaning front area, on beach line, the floor under the sink was always wet.

Very good

Spacious room and bathroom with a nice little terrace. The bungalows are situated a bit away from the beach so no nice view on the sea. They provide two towels per person so you can use one for the beach. Free water refill is great.

A perfect bungalow in paradise

This was an amazing property with a great location. The bungalow has everything you need in this beautiful island. The staff was super helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel like at home. We would recommend to anybody to stay at Sunny Bungalow.

Great experience, we liked it a lot

The owner was really nice. He helped us with our combodian simcard, the ferry and even gave us rain protection for free. The Bungalows were very cozy, with windows, free water and enough space. For the price more than we expected. You can do a short hike trough the dschungle to sunset beach, which we liked a lot. Best hotel on our trip so far!

Wonderful beach front hotel.

Perfect location with beach front next to crystalline calm sea water. I loved the place, the breakfast, the wonderful smooth Cambodian coffee, the host, his wife and staff. The host was exceptionally attentive to details and made one feel right at home. He also gave me the tip about the other side of the island across the jungle via a lovely path. 😍 Will go back.

Good value for the money we paid

The bungalow was quite spacious and nice, wifi worked well, good and quiet location

The entrance and 'common area' of the hostel was not in the best shape, it would need some cleaning, repairing and organising. The bungalow was very dark inside, it would need some more light. Just for info for others: there's no hot water in the shower.
