So much room, separate bedrooms. 2 toilets. Aircon/heating in each room. Washer/dryer. Quirky little Japanese house. Would highly recommend and will stay again when next in Kyoto.

Some of the matrasses were very thin.

Nice house, in kind of a traditional style but at the same time very modern and fully equipped (it's not a proper traditional old house with very few equipment), spacious and in a very calm neighborhood. We stayed one night only. I guess this kind of house is much more interesting if you plan to stay a few nights at list, then you can really unpack and make the place yours for a longer duration.

Hot water couldn't be triggered on time (the owner was rather quick to answer though but as we had to leave early, we spent some time trying to get hot water and couldn't). Many devices featured translated guidelines, very useful, but not how to get hot water, unfortunately.
